Mattei's, a local favorite, is renowned for its delectable eggplant parmesan. As a loyal customers who've been visiting for years, we always make sure to stock up on a couple of containers whenever we're in the area. Whether you prefer it with or without meat, their eggplant is undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. Sliced paper thin and bathed in their mouthwatering sauce, it's a culinary delight. But Matti's culinary offerings don't stop there. Their meatballs are equally impressive, and their subs are a must-try. They also have an impressive selection of prepared foods and cater to various events. One thing to note is that the deli itself is strictly takeout, but the service is always fast,and the staff is incredibly helpful. read more

Some of the sandwich names are The Yogi with chicken and eggplant, The Babe with turkey and pepperoni, The O'Neill Deal with ham, sopressata, salami, and provolone, Bern Baby Burn with chicken, hot peppers and mozzarella, and the coolest one -Robbie Cano, Don't Ya Know with Roast Beef, American cheese and red peppers. The grinders were a good size but had very little flavor. There's other places around that have much better sandwiches for the price. This just wasn't worth it to me.
