I wanted the mold & mildew removed prior to our moving in, and Mike & his team at The Cleaning Connection was the company I chose to do the work. Mike and his team were amazing to deal with as they made a visit to the house prior to our closing to inspect what work needed to be done. Then as of the day of our closing, Mike and his team were waiting in my driveway ready to go so that when I arrived to the house with the keys, they immediately went to work stripping the attic of all insulation and remediating the mold & mildew. They were extremely professional using all required protective devices to protect the rest of the house from mold exposure, and Mike was very fair with his pricing. They finished the job within 24 hours and my attic was cleaned as if it was brand new when they were finished. I would highly recommend their services.

They said $1600 which included taking the debris away. They said they had a large truck. They came with 3 guys and the young lady I spoke with on the phone arrived an hour later then they said. They did call and let me know that they would be late. As soon as they got of the car one of the guys asked to use the bathroom. I hesitated because I was a bit taken back but I said yes as long as he takes his shoes off. We don't wear shoes in the house and their boots were very dirty. He said he would pee in the woods but he peed as he was walking down my driveway in his pants! They came with only brooms, rags and cleaning solution. Took them 5 hours and used my shopvac and left 3 inches of sludge, no they did not clean it out the shopvac! They also left 1/3 garbage said it didn't fit in their truck. Granted, they did a decent job of cleaning and got rid of the cobwebs and dirt and debris but I felt they came unprepared. It was very inefficient to have a service without vacuums or any cleaning machines. They also increased the fee $150 to $1750 which made it overpriced for the service since they only swept dry part of the floors. They left the sludge from the rain and said they have to charge another $600 to mop the floors. The cleaning solution they used has a very strong odor and it permeated the rest of the house. It gave me a terrible headache and made me dizzy. No, I would not use them again. I gave them 3 stars because they did a decent job of cleaning up most of the basement. If they had kept the estimate and taken away the debris, done a better job on the floors, worked more efficiently I would have rated them higher. I hired them because they had good google reviews even though I had lower estimates from other services.
