We set up an appointment for a Saturday a couple of weeks later. There was fantastic communication throughout the entire process. Petar offers a lifetime, transferable warranty. He just left my house after spending about an hour fixing the foundation. Originally, he thought he'd have to cut through the support stud, but he didn't need to, which helps me even more. The work itself is great, they were on time, professional but nice, and a 2-3 day job ended up being just 2 days, even with adding installation of a new window well to the job that day. The next day, there was a lot of water in the basement. Petar came right over to see what the issue was. it wasn't their work, a pipe right over the work had a slit/hole, and spewed water all over when I was outside watering my plants. I apologized for having him come by when it was not his fault, but he could not have been nicer about it, he prides himself on excellent customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

However after we eventually chose an alternate contractor, everyone I spoke to in my neighborhood, would tell me to use Harold Westwood. If I asked anyone who did their drive or patio, the answer was always them. When I asked on several community forums and Facebook pages, I also got the same answer. So I swallowed my pride, and actually had the nerve to call them and ask for Dave to come out again and quote me for our new stamped concrete patio. I am amazed he even came out after my review, which I was praying he hadn't seen, (he had)! Dave (Harold's son) was great, very personable friendly guy who seriously knows his stuff when it comes to stamping. I expected their quote to be more expensive because of their excellent reputation, but in fact it was very competitive, of the 3 quotes we had, they were right in the middle and cheaper than the contractor we planned to use, and the cheaper quote didn't include all the extras that were automatically included in Westwood's. We decided to go with Harold Westwood and even decided to get our driveway done at the same time. Well the work is now complete and we couldn't be happier. They worked fast, but remained meticulous about every detail. The crew were like a well oiled machine the way they worked together. It was obvious they were all very experienced and well trained, and Dave's attention to detail was outstanding, he really cares about the final result and wants the best for his clients. Harold stopped by several times during the process to check in with both the crew and us, and all I can say is, I think I must have had a bad case of PMS the first time he came round because you couldn't meet a nicer, more sincere man. He is just of a different generation, (when men were gentlemen), and I should have taken that into account at our first meeting. He has been in the industry all his life and between himself and his son Dave, there's nothing they don't know about concrete. I really couldn't recommend Harold Westwood Concrete highly enough. They came to do concrete leveling of my large stoop and a complicated gutter discharge extension that invloved demo of concrete and pouring of new concrete. John & Tyler exceeded my expectations for the concrete leveling as they were careful with the lift (I had an attached railing tied to my brick home that I thought would be damaged during the lift) and no damage was done as they took their time to ensure the integrity of the railing. The gutter extension by Will and the crew was amazing. The obstacles they overcame showed true professionalism and care.
