I like that they offer appointments after 5pm, so I can go after work. The facility is very clean. They do direct billing to insurance. I highly recommend!

Each visit was a 20 minute session. 5-10 minutes of mild adjusting and the rest was just speaking with the physiotherapist about exercises I could do at home. I didn't find any relief until I sought treatment elsewhere. Then they submitted invoices to my insurance company for 1 hour sessions to get more money. Overall I did not have a good experience and they tried to significantly reduce funding that I actually need to use to get better. Really disappointed in that kind of dishonest behaviour.

Going in I had expected some level of recovery by the time 9 weeks of physio sessions were complete - anticipating as the surgeon had told me recovery could be upwards of a year. Through the pelvic floor regimen Rasika had provided me, adherence to the daily exercise program she had provided and her pushing me to mentally challenge myself with the incontinence, after only two months no longer wearing protective undergarments during the day or at night - even for sports. I'd had really good results with the technique previously and wanted to try it on my tight calves. A Facebook friend mentioned being treated here so I did a bit of investigating. They're really quick to answer emails and very helpful! It took a while to organise an appointment-a mixture of them being busy and me having to work. When we managed to coordinate schedules, it was really easy. I was allowed to book by email and got a time that suited me! The space is really lovely. It's all open in the centre with lots of light and shiny wood floors. Individual treatment rooms are off to the side which was really nice. Can't say I love going to physio and being in a row of beds as if it's an old style ward. I like my privacy! Especially when I'm paying for it. My reception was friendly and I was given the usual intake forms and then it was just a short wait before my physio arrived. I had Carl who was fabulous. Really friendly, very thorough and excellent clinically. He picked up on stuff without me telling him which is always a good sign. He also didn't just look at my calves-he was more holistic and system-based which I also liked. There were moments when I didn't completely love him (like when he was putting needles into my chronically tight muscles) but overall I have only praise for him! I particularly liked it that he didn't try to book me in for more sessions. It was left open-ended...I can go back if I need to. I don't like being stuck going back forever and ever. Rates are pretty standard I think. It's $110 for the first session which is stated to be 45 minutes. I think it was at least that if not slightly longer. Follow-ups are $60 for 20 minutes and $70 for 30 mins. I think most places are that expensive though. And I escaped with a one-off. Think my calves feel better. Despite disregarding all the post-procedure advice. Sorry Carl!

I had a pinched nerve in my neck and in few short sessions Dana has made a huge difference in my…read morewell being. At worst the nerve was compressed so bad that my left arm was completely numb at times and I was fearing that I may get permanent nerve damage. Dana assured me this is not a big problem and totally fixable and she was correct. After just 4 sessions, I feel like I've improved 80-90% from my initial condition. Earlier I was told elsewhere that my vertebrae in my neck has wear and tear and that the nerve is pinched between the two bones that are grinding. Dana disagreed with this diagnosis and told me that the pinching is caused by soft tissue around the vertebrae being too tight and that my spine seems fine - and she's absolutely right. By loosening up my muscles, I feel completely different already. I'm not familiar with physiotherapy as this is my first time requiring it but based on my experience I would highly recommend Adelaide Physiotherapy and Dana.

I haven't been satisfied with my experience at this clinic. First of all, I do have to say the staff are very kind and friendly. During my first assessment I felt like they were really catering to my needs. On the follow up appointments a technician performed my physio instead of the physiotherapist. This is where I was not satisfied. They never really reassessed my back pain after the initial consultation and my back still hurts. I have spent over $900 at this clinic and I haven't really seen results. They would use the ultrasound machine to reduce inflammation and the electric current machine in each session. Aside from that, I thought they would give me exercises. After requesting some exercises, I was given ones I could do at home. I am doing these exercises and am seeing minimal results. At my gym my instructors and various personal trainers told me there are ways to make the exercises that they assigned me more difficult. When I asked to make them more challenging, they didn't really provide me with options. I don't know what to do to make my back better. I might consult another physiotherapy clinic. The acupuncture did nothing for me and the massage therapy did not help my back at all. I never felt better after my massages. Since attending this clinic I have seen a new chiropractor and another physiotherapist who is 10 times better than this place. I would never go back here even if they paid me. It was welcoming and all the equipment looked well kept and of good quality. I met the clinic manager David Mowat who gave me a brief tour and made it a point to introduce me to all staff who were present. Everyone I met was courteous and cheerful. I started with a 30 minute massage with RMT Florentin Racovitan. He is highly professional, patient and knowledgeable and took the time to assess where I was experiencing any discomfort. He also made some recommendations for footwear to reduce/eliminate my lower back and feet pain. Florentin practiced as a family physician prior to becoming a RMT and has advanced training and qualifications in several other areas of medicine, his experience goes way beyond that of an average RMT and that makes him invaluable. I genuinely anticipate our next session as after only 30 minutes earlier today I feel much better and make it a point to improve my posture. Following my massage I met with Kinesiologist/Exercise Physiologist Marina Kaplan for a one hour active rehabilitation session. Similar to Florentin, Marina has a flurry of relevant qualifications, is passionate and knowledgeable in her field. Truth be told she Worked me and as I write this review I'm almost beginning to sweat - in a good way! I honestly can not wait for my next appt which I scheduled for this week. The sessions are customized to each individual but I do admire how they are core specific, and my cool down period involved electronic muscle stimulation, hot packs and a roll out. I've been here to treat two separate injuries that I've had over the years. The first time was…read moreprobably about 10 years ago. I had a great experience then and this time as well. My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.
