Their sessions were centered on strategy and learning how to organize and develop good study habits and while content teaching was a part of it, our son's growth into a confident student was the most important benefit. The last session with Jason is next week. Our son will be graduating from Ballard High School next Wednesday (with straight As) and in fall he is starting at UW Engineering - majoring in MechEng and Industrial Design. My husband and I are very grateful to Greg and Jason for all the support in last 4+ years. It was really great to know that even though our sone would not really listen to us, Jason will likely get through him and point him in the right direction. Our 2 daughters have spent 4 years there enjoying the Montessori inspired learning activities, reading program, dance sessions, field trips, and playground time. The kind and caring teachers have been so important and instrumental in the development of our children in preparing them for elementary school. It truly feels like you are part of a family, and we've formed what are sure to be lifelong friendships with many of the other families we met there. Our daughters love to reminisce about all of the fond memories they made there. It really is a special place!

I had a very negative experience with APEX's AP econ course last school year (2018-2019) and I…read morewould not recommend it unless significant changes are made. Luckily, my high school's AP econ teacher helped me with the course and was able to override APEX's grading system, which helped me complete the course. Had it not been for him though things would be a lot worse for me. This teacher also was the one who suggested I write a review in the first place. At the time I was the only one in my high school taking this course online. I am now a freshmen in college and have been a 4.0 student all throughout high school and my time in college. To this day, online AP econ was the most difficult class I've ever had. Below are my complaints: 1) With every other online platform I have used (schoology, wiley plus, moodle, etc.) you were able to go back to questions that you weren't sure about. However, on APEX, you HAD to answer a question before moving on to the next one, and you could go back/forward. This was extremely unhelpful when I was taking a test and would put me far behind in my course progress if I needed to wait the entire weekend to ask my teacher about a certain question. 2) Questions on tests and quizzes were often inaccurate (the wrong answer was marked as correct), poorly worded, or went far beyond what was taught in the video lessons. There were also no explanations given as to why answers were wrong on tests, and sometimes they even stumped my AP econ teacher. 3) APEX customer support was minimal and I had no access to anyone who had designed or overseen the curriculum, which made figuring out what I needed to know extremely difficult. There was no one to contact if there were issues (like I mentioned above) with tests and quizzes. 4) All of the lessons that were given to me seemed extremely dated. All of the economic data that was given was from the late 80s and early 90s. I don't have anything against watching econ documentaries from 1992, but it gave the impression that the course itself hadn't been updated since then. 5) This course did not sufficiently prepare me for the AP test and I decided not to take it because my econ teacher said that there was material in the APEX curriculum that he hadn't seen since college. I figured that I didn't want to waste my time and money taking the AP test if I was not properly prepared. So, there you have it. Overall, this course brought me a lot of undue stress my second semester senior year and really brought me very little in return. With some changes, I think APEX could be a good way to learn outside of the classroom, and I liked the concept of watching video lectures, practicing, and taking tests on my own time with one software. However, these glitches made it really difficult. Hope this will be helpful!

I regret on my decision to choose Apex. I would highly recommend don't consider apex. Go for BYU or community college or elsewhere. Don't choose Apex learning virtual school.

On the day of our son's birth my husband and I walked into the hospital on the same page and as a great team. All thanks to Tracy and her work with us. We were able to have a natural birth and all of the techniques we learned in class helped immensely. Tracy is a great educator, incredibly kind, and very supportive of each couple's decisions and preferences. I appreciated how optimistic she was and how she helped us understand that Hypno birth techniques can be flexible and be used in a variety of birth settings. Not only did I learn a huge amount, but I feel 100% prepared for the birth of my daughter. The beauty of the class is that it makes things so simple that by the end you feel prepared rather than scared. The whole idea is that you just need to be calm and relaxed in order to let your body do the work. Instead of treating birth as a medical event, Hypnobirthing treats it as the natural even that it is. Makes complete sense since that's how babies are born in nature all the time. Tracy did a great job not only explaining everything and making the mothers feel confident in the class, but also helping us birth partners to feel confident in our role. I feel safe saying that I know exactly what's expected of me on the big day, I know how to handle complications if they come up, and I know what I can do to help my wife, and I know I won't freak out at any point. There are so many options out there, and I highly recommend this approach and these teachers. It was a fantastic experience and I can't thank them enough.

You can pay $500 just to get put on the website so that you will be noticed. Otherwise, most likely - you won't be. I've interacted with Kim Brooke... by phone and by email, and even met with them a few years ago. Kim is a very pleasant, brilliant, successful businesswoman who knows the industry. I even went to "Barbizon" to find a back door into acting - not to become a model actually. "Barbizon" ("Be a model or just look like one.") seems to be the "Rip-Off" company... NOT The Kim Brooke Group. Yes, insurance didn't fully cover the cost and we still had to pay quite a bit out of pocket. Yes, initially were on a six months long wait list but due to a cancellation we were able to get him in three months after we initially put our referral in. The doctor (psychologist) that we were paired up with to complete the multi-day test is amazing and she is still an occasional resource for us to this day. She helped introduce us to great providers and more importantly gave us hope that with proper therapy our child will develop to his full capability.
