For my entrée, I ordered the Cast Iron Duck Confit ($19). I was deciding between a couple of dishes, and our waitress recommended this one, which was an excellent suggestion. The dish featured braised duck, shallots, spinach, Cabernet-braised cherries, cherry goat cheese mousse, potatoes, and two eggs over easy. The portion was generous, hearty, and packed with flavor. The duck was tender, moist, and cooked perfectly. The Cabernet-braised cherries and cherry goat cheese mousse were unique additions that gave the dish a creative twist. There were plenty of potatoes, and I ended up ordering a side of chipotle aioli, which paired really well with them. I have really enjoyed the chipotle sauces I have tried around Phoenix, they seem much more flavorful and spicier than many of the versions I've had on the East Coast. Overall, this was an excellent brunch in a clean, open, and inviting space. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly despite it being a busy Sunday morning. They also have an attached café and bakery with an impressive display of pastries, although we did not have room to try any this visit. I would definitely recommend Prep & Pastry and look forward to returning on a future trip. There were several other dishes on the menu that looked good, so I would happily come back to explore more of the menu.

They are absolute garbage. Simply untrue to say the least. I have met the owner, and every single teacher and supervisor here. They are some of the most loving, caring, and dedicated individuals I had up to that point met at any other day care or preschool. And my son went to Childtime on bell rd, which was good. He attended tutor time on bell rd, which was disgusting and horrible and even more so the director there was trashy and had an agenda. But kids prep academy had small groups, next level care/attention, and extremely invested, loving, and more importantly QUALIFIED individuals organizing and running the place. And my son was happy, treated fairly, and in his words, he was understood. Which meant everything to our family, especially during the difficult time it was. The value here is one which can't be sized simply by a dollar amount. I am a real life testimony. And I deeply regret not writing this and giving them the credit they deserved a long time ago. It was so light and refreshing. One of our friends had to ask another server to bring his hot coffee around after he was the only one to not get it. It was my boyfriend's birthday so they also offered him a free pastry. I tried the chocolate chip cookie he picked out which was so good. I told the server I wanted to pay for my boyfriend and he acted like he charged me, however, as he made his way around the table he ended up charging my bf for his meal! I am very happy with Lawrence because he has demonstrated what a real teacher should be, a teacher who cares about his students doing weekly in school. Kids sometimes feel down because overwhelm of homework and Lawrence is a motivator. He sometimes stayed behind, give a pep talk, or suggested some guidelines how to complete the homework. Lawrence shown that he cares not only his students achieving the best school grades but student's well-being as well. At each end of tutoring session, Lawrence comes and has a brief talk with the parents about the kid progress, or concern that he might see. I will continue having Lawrence as tutoring in many years to come.

We signed up for memberships for a weekly class for each girl. We also booked my newly 5 year olds birthday there. The party exceeded my expectations! The owner and staff are so attentive to the kids, the decorations were amazing, and the timing is perfect. They made my daughter feel so special the whole party. I'm so grateful we found this place to help get their mid week wiggles out while learning great foundational skills and confidence.
