I do like the fact that they have 3 locations and the Thunderbird location is the closest for me. Parking is hit or miss, because it is located in a busy shopping center. I managed to complete 30 minutes of coursework. But it timed out. Now after 3 hours of trying and failing to get through BioSig-ID my hand is cramped and I give up. I was so proud of my son. My son found that with the right person teaching him, encouraging him and showing math is not the enemy, he could grasp it. Last school year in February, my son was sitting at 38% in math, in March, I had him start with Keli. The best decision I ever made! I brought my 15 year old daughter to Sylvan after she had to take a few month off of her freshman…read moreyear of high school due to mono. I had home schooled her during her illness, but she still had to take her finals at school. I knew math was her weak area, and Algebra was her nemesis. After testing, it was revealed that my daughter had the math skills of a seventh grader. Yet, we only had three weeks to get her caught up with her Algebra lessons and prepare her for her final (even though it had been six months since she'd attended.) The staff at Sylvan was wonderful, sympathetic and understanding. The teachers were AMAZING. They taught my daughter different methods to learn the concepts. My daughter mentioned how weird one of the teachers was, whom sang his lessons to her. She said as she was taking her Algebra final at school, she found herself singing the songs in her head. The training was a success! The staff was as excited as we were that my daughter had passed! When we originally started going my daughter was leery about going. Now she asks for tutoring when she needs help. She's doing wonderfully! Worth every cent!

She has been with my oldest for quite a while and knew his personality in-depth and tailored circiculum around his learning style. This is a smaller school, more close-knit, and more invested in individual children that I appreciate all the more after having transitioned to a much larger private school. Despite being much less in tuition, they have provided school supplies for my kids and have done some very impressive field trips and events that clearly show to me that their profit margin is very slim. There is good diversity, and they have good moral standards (which in today's climate may sadly turn people off). I would highly recommend it!!
