This is a huge scam! We paid for tutoring services for our…read moredaughter with autism which were never provided. On 7/18/18 we paid $1,105 for 26 hours of tutoring for our daughter who needed help to obtain her certificate in child development. We went through several tutors with Frog Tutoring who in most cases provided 1 or 2 sessions and then would quit for various reasons; one told us that Frog Tutoring never paid her for the tutoring she provided to our daughter. The last tutor kept cancelling our appointments at the last minute and we went several weeks without tutoring. We ended up hiring another tutor outside of Frog Tutoring because our daughter would be not be able to pass her EVIT course without help. She is a special needs student. We did not hear back from Frog Tutoring about finding another tutor for over 9 months. I remembered a few weeks ago that we still had a balance with them of nearly $867.63 for unused tutoring services. I have reached out to them 7 times in the last few weeks to request a refund of these unused tutoring services. I am told every time that this requires special approval from the supervisor and they will get back to me the next business day. They never get back to me. To make things worse, the funds paid to Frog Tutoring were provided by AZ Dept of Education through an Empowerment Scholarship program (ESA) for kids with special needs. Not only did they rip off a special kid with autism but the taxpayers of AZ who provided the funds. All I want is refund for the tutoring services that were never provided so that I can return them to the ESA account. I am done waiting for response/refund from them which is not coming. Based on similar complaints to the BBB, this business should be shut down but that is not my call. I gave them a deadline for our refund that has long passed and told them I would be contacting the BBB and the Dept of Education and that did not seem to bother them. I have contacted Stacy Tardif , our account rep by phone, by text and by email. I spoke with someone at the TX office as well. When a tutor does not show up or cancels a session we had to call Frog Tutoring to get the credit back and they put it in the system that we cancelled the session. This is bordering on criminal activity in my mind. I am completely disgusted.

Before moving to Arizona I didn't even know that educational advocates exist and now that we have Tamara I won't ever attend a meeting or make important decisions without her expertise. I equate it to going to court without your lawyer, she may as well be one with how knowledgeable she is. Tamara knows Arizona educational laws inside out, even more so than the SPED director in our district. If anyone at your school is dismissive of your child's needs or trying to intimidate you Tamara is going to be their worst nightmare. But seriously I am so thankful that we've got Tamara on our side. Don't hesitate, your child is worth it.
