Working with Nick and his staff has been an incredible experience for my son. What I noticed right…read moreaway is that Nick truly CARES about kids and takes the time to understand how they learn best. He spent a great deal of time on the phone with me before we came in for my son's evaluation and I quickly knew he would be a great fit. Nick is great at meeting kids where they are. On days when my son is struggling or just not in the right headspace, Nick adjusts the session accordingly. What impresses me most is how he explains concepts. More than once I've found myself thinking how every kid would benefit from a teacher like him. Beyond his talent as an educator, he's also an incredibly generous business owner. We first met him after winning a free month of tutoring through our school's silent auction. The value we have received this past month has gone above and beyond my expectations. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in helping kids succeed, then Elite Tutoring Place will serve you well. We feel incredibly lucky to have found him!

Extremely Disappointed - No Results After 30 Hours…read more I spent 30 hours at Elite Tutoring Place, fully committed to improving my ACT score. I followed every piece of advice, completed all the assigned work, and put in the extra effort outside of sessions. I'm a hard worker--I don't expect results without putting in the work. But after all that time and money, my score did not improve at all. The tutors were friendly, but the strategies they taught me were no different from what I had already learned on my own. There was no personalized approach, no real effort to target my weaknesses, and honestly, it felt like I was just going through the motions in every session. For a program that promises score improvements, this was a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for real results, I strongly suggest finding another program. Elite Tutoring Place did nothing for me except drain my wallet and leave me frustrated. The owner will respond to this message claiming I never attended Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton as he did in my google review. Regardless, I did attend Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton, and I find it concerning that he claims not to have any record of me. I showed up, did the work, and stuck to the program as instructed, yet my score did not improve at all. Nick- Instead of dismissing my experience, maybe take accountability and consider how blaming the student for not following the program correctly when I did everything asked of me is not a great look. Instead of denying my attendance, maybe focus on improving your program so future students actually see results.

When school has at times been something she dreads going to Miss Joanna has been something she has looked forward to and joyfully and willingly embraced going to. Joanna is nothing short of amazing. She truly is incredible at this role, she has come alongside my daughter and provided a place and instruction that has resulted in my daughter thriving. Every time we leave my daughter is encouraged (and so am I ). As a mom what is even better than the wonderful academic/reading help she gives I of course wanted to feel confident about who I was leaving my daughter in the care of. I couldn't speak more highly of who Joanna is. She is the best. So so kind, gentle, fun, encouraging, generous, warm, sweet and joyful. Her little classroom is just perfect. I could go on and on. I wish I was more gifted with words! One more thing to note is how Joanna runs her business she is incredibly good at communicating expectations, she is timely, detailed and accurate in all the ways. We have been going to Joanna for almost two years and never once had any issues. We love Rainbow Reading and Miss Joanna!!!
