I called the school and told them her score as I was dumbfounded she didn't even raise and point. I feel I dropped $2500 for nothing. She decided to take the test for the forth time, and Huntington offered to give her 2 days of tutoring free. Again, she received a 26. Huntington couldn't raise my daughter's score from a 26 with 2 attempts. If your child scores much lower, they might be of some help, otherwise I wouldn't bother. She reached her plateau on her own by looking at free U-tube videos available and the ACT Prep book.

I followed every piece of advice, completed all the assigned work, and put in the extra effort outside of sessions. I'm a hard worker--I don't expect results without putting in the work. But after all that time and money, my score did not improve at all. The tutors were friendly, but the strategies they taught me were no different from what I had already learned on my own. There was no personalized approach, no real effort to target my weaknesses, and honestly, it felt like I was just going through the motions in every session. For a program that promises score improvements, this was a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for real results, I strongly suggest finding another program. Elite Tutoring Place did nothing for me except drain my wallet and leave me frustrated. The owner will respond to this message claiming I never attended Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton as he did in my google review. Regardless, I did attend Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton, and I find it concerning that he claims not to have any record of me. I showed up, did the work, and stuck to the program as instructed, yet my score did not improve at all. Nick- Instead of dismissing my experience, maybe take accountability and consider how blaming the student for not following the program correctly when I did everything asked of me is not a great look. He was in middle school, and his counselor recommended this company, which sends private tutors to students' homes. It was called Study Smart back then. We bought a package of 12 lessons, and after about six of them my son decided he'd had enough tutoring (he hates anyone trying to help him). The company could have just taken the money for the remaining six lessons and disappeared -- I probably would have forgotten about it. And the name had changed to StudyPoint, which would have been a good excuse to write me off. But the people there kept checking in. My son kept saying he didn't want a tutor. Eventually, my daughter reached middle school and started struggling in math and science. So the next time the nice Study Point lady (Jill) called, I asked if the six remaining lessons could be transferred to a sibling, and she said yes. She took a lot of trouble (remember, she already had the money) to find the perfect tutor for my daughter -- one who has a strong science background, and is good at organizational skills -- and checked back in after the first lesson to see if the two of them hit it off. If they hadn't, a new tutor would have been found. The tutoring sessions are 60 or 90 minutes long, depending on the age of the child. The professionalism I've seen from this national organization has been really impressive.
