I guess that is the bottom line when you go to a tutor center. The director who runs it, Jennifer, is super nice and flexible. The two main instructors who work with my son, Matt and Nick, are able to explain Geometry in a way that my son relates to. It is one thing to be able to explain a subject. it is another to be able to teach it to someone else. I am really impressed by the South Barrington Mathnasium location.

Upon enrollment, both administration and teachers encouraged my breastfeeding. This was incredibly important because as any Breastfeeding or a Pumping Mom knows, it is a commitment and labor of love! They were welcome to pick up and drop off feeding sessions, which was incredibly helpful when transitioning back to full time employment. My daughter has flourished in the Infant Montessori environment. The children are given the freedom to roam the room - which she adores! When I pick her up she is happy and smiling, interacting with the other babies and teachers. It is so apparent that the teachers adore the students as well! I am completely comfortable knowing she is so well taken care of. I can't ever express enough gratitude to the staff at BGMS. If I can't be a SAHM, this is the most ideal alternative. I can only hope more people are able to have the experience I have! We are planning to keep our daughter at Buffalo Grove Montessori through Kindergarten. I credit…read moremuch of her joy and happiness to her phenomenal teachers, who also taught and nurtured my two older children. We've sent all three of our kids to Busy Bees and couldn't be happier with that decision. The Montessori instruction fosters independence and confidence in kids. People are constantly amazed at the things my kids can do -- like putting on their coats, feeding themselves, focusing on tasks, etc. -- at a young age. We currently work with Elda and Gisel in the Eggs classroom, and these two teachers and their aides could not be more devoted to the children they work with. They clearly love each child, and know them very, very well. I also appreciate Busy Bees' willingness to communicate and partner with parents. As much as Busy Bees has been instructive for my kids, I've also learned a lot from the Montessori method they employ and the caring, fantastic staff they hire. It was posted in March likely when everyone was a bit stressed out and nobody had any idea how things would play out. I'm 100% confident this location was working hard and doing everything possible to help the families in our community. I can only speak to the interactions I have had with the staff there and every time they've graciously gone above and beyond for the children and me as a parent. Our children love the Mathnasium program and always WANT to go...I give credit to Mathnasium but really the local staff at the Barrington, IL location is what makes it such a positive experience.
