I love this place! Kids, and especially girls, thrive in the arial arts program here. Kids seem to put their whole selves into this program. There's a lot of joy here. My daughter has grown stronger and more confident in trusting that she can do whatever her kind, caring teachers lead her to do. The work is playful and exhilarating. Something he didn't get to do during the school year, Thanks covid! Pick up and drop off was honestly great! This was the worst experience I've ever had with a gym. I missed a class, so I called them to reschedule a makeup--the person who picked up the phone rescheduled me for a class Before we hung up the phone, I asked for an email confirmation, but she insisted that I did not need one, and that I should just come in. Then, when I showed up for the class, the person who was working the front desk (she seemed like the owner, and she sounded like the same person who I spoke to on the phone) could not look me up as someone who had registered. Puzzled, I told her that I called in and was rescheduled. She was clearly upset at me, but she rudely dismissed me and told me to go to my class anyway. Then after class, she called me over to the front desk, and she accused me, "You lied to me. You did not reschedule this class. You lied to me." I insisted that I did reschedule with them over the phone, but she did not believe me. It was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I will never return to this place again. Save your time and frustration, and take your business elsewhere. read more

Enrolled my 4 year old on whim because he loves tumbling. It's great! Small classes and really knowledgeable and fun teachers. This is a hidden gem inside a cool old building in Wicker Park/Logan Square. So glad we found it and recommend it to neighbors - don't sleep in this for your kids! We LOVE this place. Our daughter has been attending their Little Movers class at the Logan Square location since she was 3 y/o and loves it. The teachers are amazing- professional, yet know how to make it silly and fun for the kiddos. This has become our family's favorite weekend activity. It's family-owned and the staff is great. All teacher are great, and Jason is especially an AMAZING teacher, the kids are obsessed with him. We also had our daughter's 4th birthday party there- it's a perfect option for a large group of kids- they had a lot of fun activities and games, with enough space to run around. MSA & Circus Arts is wonderfully run (weekly videos of fun new skills learned), perfectly safe (loving the strict masking policy), and kids are asking to go back to camp every day, even during the school year. My daughter loves the aerial arts and flexibility classes. Summer camp this year has been especially great. The teachers are really inspiring and engage with the kids as individuals. She always looks forward to being there. Sveta and her family are really particular with their teacher selections and it is clear they make terrific choices. I've also taken a fun adult class. I'd recommend MSA for classes or camps without hesitation. They are always mindful of safety and cleanliness in the space. The everyday protocols are well communicated and implemented. They don't have a big waiting area for parents nor do they allow observers due to COVID protocols, which I appreciate. They do send out videos so you can see what the kids are up to. I took adult cardio tumbling and had such a blast. I was nervous that I couldn't do it but the teacher, Nourbol, was so patient and encouraging. Come here if you want an accepting, open, and non strict circus environment. In the midst of a searching for an aerial silks class, this was the first aerial silks class that I attended where I felt welcomed and at home. 12pm - 3pm Open Gym on Sundays (especially in the winter) is the place to be where all circus artists are jamming in one collective space. The energy is amazing and addictive. Teachers and other circus professionals welcome growth and don't limit your potential or restrict you. I only wish they offered more aerial class types and times. read more

This place is so great. My dream was to learn to do a back flip, and while I still can't do one, after four Saturdays of classes I can do a perfect cartwheel and a handstand no problem. You can take tumbling classes or actual circus performing classes. I was exposed to so many things here, from trampoline to gymnastics to hoisting a petite lady up in the air with her feet resting on my hands. I mean circus stuff may sound kinda lame, but for anyone who thinks they are in shape, I challenge them to do these classes. It works a totally different group of muscles you have probably never used before. Very comfortable and for some reason has a much more attractive clientele than any martial arts academy I have been to. hmmmm.......... read more

1) They gave out my personal information to another parent without my permission. This leads to lack of trust, who knows who they sell phone numbers too. 2) My children have done a few sessions here the teachers know what they are doing but have no management skills so if the kids act up they have no experience with how to deal with it. Also some of the classes are very large and with only one teacher so the kids get a lot of down time where they are allowed to run free which is very dangerous considering the items in the space. 3) it is poorly run. In our second session the woman running the front desk was insisting that I needed to pay for a child that wasn't mine bc I was her emergency contact. We had to prove to her that the child's mother had already paid when she signed up. read more

What a hidden gem in this city! Our daughter had attended a few classes here (and recently enrolled in a cheer course.) MSA just hosted her 5th birthday party which had about 40 kids participate and 30+ parents looking on. The owners were as friendly and accommodating as any could be. They helped with both set-up and clean-up, were very communicative and highly responsive before and throughout the event. The children were well looked after by instructors who were not only keeping the kids safe, but also guiding them in how to perform the various activities. Everyone displayed amazing patience (try to teach a 5 year old how to juggle some time) and sensitivity in dealing with what in other venues may have resulted in chaos. Instead, the event was a great success, and we certainly feel comfortable in having our daughter be trained by these professionals. Thank you, MSA. read more

My kids took classes here over the summer and I really didn't like how abrasive they were with the children. Thirteen months later a little girl, we are very good friends with, had her birthday party there. The way this man spoke to the children was outrageous. I wouldn't speak to circus animals that way. When the party went eight minutes over schedule, he verbally assaulted the entire group of children. The age range was five to nine, little elementary school kids. Never ever ever again will I have anything to do with this place. read more

Very disappointing, I took my 4 year child to a birthday party here and from the get go, a male instructor continually hollered at him when he wasn't doing anything different than the other rambunctious and excited children. Then, he pushed him off the mat towards me for a "time out." The instructors had only two activities going on for about 20 kids, so needless to say, the kids were getting antsy, the last straw was when he grabbed my child's wrist twice for being silly and excited, needless to say we left mid-party. We will never visit this place again. read more
