Strategic Academic Services

My experience with Strategic Academics in Wheaton has been extremely disappointing. Do not take…read moreyour kids here . They are routinely late to appointments, and the communication is disorganized from start to finish. But the biggest red flag has been their payment process. Instead of providing a proper invoice or any standard, secure online payment system, they send a text message asking for money through Zelle or Venmo. When I asked for a normal invoice, they refused -- and instead pushed for a credit card over the phone, which felt completely unprofessional and frankly sketchy for a business that should be operating with transparency. Customer service was no better. Every interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, with zero effort to resolve concerns or operate like a legitimate, organized service provider. At this point, the entire setup feels unreliable, disorganized, and far below the level of professionalism any family should expect. It is sketch at best . I would strongly caution anyone from trusting them with their time, money, or child based on what I experienced.

They are great on 3 levels: 1. Experienced in Math, Grammar, and College Apps - probably also in Science and physics (we haven't needed them for that). 2. Elite Tutoring of Wheaton has been an incredible partner in our daughter's education. What sets…read morethem apart is the truly customized approach they take. Rather than putting students into a one-size-fits-all program, Elite begins with a full consultation with parents and then designs lessons around the exact subjects where help is needed. They also have access to our local school district's curriculum, which means Noa is learning exactly what she needs to stay aligned with her classroom work--just in a way that makes sense to her. Our daughter has ADHD, and Elite's team has the experience and patience to tailor lessons to her learning style. They've made math less intimidating and more approachable, while giving her the confidence to succeed. We've been so impressed by their thoughtful, flexible, and encouraging approach. Elite Tutoring of Wheaton isn't just another tutoring service--it's a team that truly cares about each student as an individual. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

I am a former student of the Reading Tree ACT/SAT preparation course, and I would fully recommend…read moreit to anyone looking for a quality program with outstanding results. I am currently a senior in high school and along with my grades, my great ACT score has given me the opportunity to attend my dream school, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and I can attribute my ACT success to my experience with the Reading Tree program. I am so happy with my choice to attend the Reading Tree program. I had other friends in similar ACT prep programs with hundreds of students being taught by very few teachers. They said that they felt as if they "never got any personalized attention" and that it was a "waste of time." I found this to be the complete opposite at the Reading Tree. The teachers were warm and patient (regardless of the level of the student), and they always had an answer to my questions. The intimate environment really made me feel that my success was a primary goal to the program. Along with the books we received for homework and practice tests, we got a binder that had so many different helpful hints and tricks that I used when I took my test (and my test results confirmed...they definitely work). I felt the homework assignments to be well thought-out and relevant to what we needed to focus on. I can't say enough about how successful I feel the Reading Tree program is. From its personalized program, helpful text materials, well-educated teachers, and of course, great test results, I feel that it is beneficial to any junior or senior looking to do well on their tests; it is definitely worth it. Thank you to all my teachers!

Chicago Home Tutor responded to my initial inquiry super fast, we had a great discussion as to her needs and her personality, and the fact that I believe she may also have some form of learning disability or adhd (undiagnosed but showed same symptoms her her diagnosed brother). Then they quickly identified a couple matches and one recommendation for a tutor and within a matter of days we had our first in-home appointment set up. The match was made so perfectly that my daughter has had great success in strengthening her math skills with her tutor. We will continue through this next school term because Chicago Home Tutor has been of such great benefit I am confident my daughter will not just be fully on top of her grade level math skills but will also be ahead of the game. The pride my daughter expresses in her abilities now makes my heart smile!
