The staff are nice and very good with children. We've been there for 4 years with no issues. Early drop off and late pick up.

Montessori Children's Garden (MCG) is a truly amazing place. My husband and I are so grateful to…read morehave chosen MCG for our son's education! He was there from 2.5 to 6 years old. Not only was he incredibly well prepared to start school in IPSD 204 from an academic standpoint, but also socially and emotionally. The school is very well run - with top notch communication and a staff of talented, caring teachers. The staff put on regular education nights for parents, and with no judgment, really helped me identify how to be the best mom I can be. While in the Kindergarten program, our son was asked to be a leader in the classroom and take on more responsibilities. It was so wonderful to watch him thrive and be cared for by an entire staff of smart, devoted, and empathetic women. Thank you so much, MCG, for giving our son the best start! I can't help but wonder how wonderful the world would be if every child got this kind of start. MCG is truly a special place!

As soon as we toured MCG I knew this was the place for us and it is honestly one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our kids grew their love of learning in a supportive and loving environment. Each and every teacher and staff member was amazing. Our children were given opportunities to grow and develop academically and social-emotionally. When they started attending public school, each of my children was ahead academically. One of our boys can be a bit rigid and challenging, and his teacher Ms. Jennie worked with him so well that he soared academically and behaviorally. Their hours are good for working parents and they even have fun summer programs.

This has been a great experience for our children learn and understand the facts with hands on materials. All the staff at school are very welcoming and deeply caring for every child at school. both my children are completely different, yet I see a huge progress in academic and social development. My kids love to be in Music Together Program and Spanish class. The friendly atmosphere makes Little Blossom Montessori stand out as the best.

Excellent choice for your preschooler! We feel Ms. Siji and her cheerful classroom have been a…read morebeautiful influence on our son's life over the last year. Academically, our son's concentration skills, ability to hold a pencil and actually write his name, recognition of sounds and letters, and understanding of numbers have improved dramatically. He has been introduced to concepts I previously thought were beyond his age - but he has embraced them, and retained them: continents, flags for our countries, historical figures, planets, environmental topics (like the importance of saving water), parts of the root, even words and songs in a second language (French). He takes great pride in whatever "works" he has brought home for us to see - from workbook pages to a handmade card or picture. Personally, our son has developed valuable social skills being with his peers and teachers each day. At home, we see a newfound sense of peace in his independence. He dresses himself and gets ready for the day with little parental help, will pick up his toys and put them in their proper places without being asked (much of the time!), and is a cheerful participant around the home-offering to help me with any task I happen to be working on. I feel my son is safe in the school when I leave him for class and find him happily playing on the secure and somewhat secluded playground with his friends and teachers at pickup. Ms. Siji is always accessible and has been very approachable for any concern we have faced this year. The class size is small and I feel she really knows my child and truly cares about his growth. Works are often rotated to keep the interest of the children and the classroom is a very inviting space for them. You will be amazed at how your child will truly blossom in this environment!

I am a charter member at the Vaughan Fitness Center and we have the Family All inclusive membership…read morewhich is great for us and the kids. Kids 14+ are able to use the cardio and fitness machines (under a certain age they need to be with an adult) and they do offer many classes that are available for adults (step, spin, kickboxing, piloxing, yoga, pilates, zumba) with what seems to be more being added for kids ( I hope they add more for kids!) They have quite a bit of cardio equipment and machine weights, could use more free weights for those who are serious lifters. They offer personal trainers though I don't know what certifications they hold. Like the other person posted, the down fall is the hours. They just changed the hours so that they close at 5pm on Sundays (BOO!!!) and they are open only till 7pm on Saturdays, while they open at 5am, I really wish they would open maybe at 4am. The kids daycare area is nice and kept clean, the pools are nice though because they are park district sometimes they have to close down the lap lanes and therapy pool for classes. The tracks are nicely kept (upstairs track you need to be 14+ to use) and the field house is large and is home to many community sports but there are some open gym times. It offers a good value so long as you don't mind the limited hours. That would be the ONE thing I would change..open a little earlier and stay open later on the weekends.
