We've always had Coach D, who is firm with the kids (important!), but funny, playful, and creative with the activities they kids do. They aren't just games, they are intentional activities to help the kids build in strength and skill. We most recently completed the 2022 summer at Prairie. I appreciate the ease of enrolling and then getting to stay in the class until you want to stop. No re-enrolling every 8 weeks. No worrying about missing the start of the new session. Easy, no hassle canceling when you are finished. We've had no problems with a makeup when needed. Open gym is also so fun! Finally, the second floor viewing area for families gives a wonderful overview of any activity no matter where they are in the gym. Prairie Gymnastics is a clean, safe, fun, wonderful gym for kids to learn gymnastics.

The staff is helpful and my son has already taken to them. The main person I have interacted with is Ms. Blanca and my son will say "I want to go see Ms. Blanca." on the weekends. I take this as a sign he likes it there. The rates are extremely reasonable for the area we are in. There are a lot of options for daycare in the North Naperville area, but few of them are so reasonably priced. The only criticism I have is their outdoor play space is limited. But the reality is that limitation is due to their location, which I wouldn't want to change. So the importance of that is something each family has to decide for themselves.

They're warm, nurturing, and clearly have a special gift with children--our son absolutely loves going each day. The communication is exceptional. Through the Procare app, we receive regular, thoughtful updates about meals, naps, and the fun, educational activities our son is doing. It gives us such peace of mind to feel so connected and informed throughout the day. What stands out most is how genuinely child-centered and honest the entire team is. On a day when our son wasn't feeling well, Hayley, the owner, called us immediately--not out of obligation, but out of genuine care. She treats our son, and our family, as if we were her own. That level of personal attention and kindness is rare. The facility itself is beautiful--brand new, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with kids' comfort and development in mind. Add us to that list. There really was no comparison with other options in the area after meeting with Paul (owner) and Linda (previous director) and a few of the teachers. No fluffy pretense, just straightforward and positive attitudes across the board. Effective leadership + excellent teachers = outstanding program. Despite all this, we were nervous our first few weeks as we were leaving our nearly 2-year-old son with strangers for the first time. We called on the first day and Paul (owner) answered the phone and put us at ease. He offered to walk down and take a look for us, and said that our son was playing - laughing, even. He said to call whenever we were concerned. We did, and each time our boy was either having fun or napping. (Incredible!) Once, getting the feeling that maybe Paul was exaggerating a little to make us feel better, I came early to pick up our boy. It was no exaggeration - he was having a ball. It's lasted three years - he was excited to see his friends and teachers when I dropped him off just this morning. Bottom line - we strongly recommend The Goddard School in North Aurora and have nothing but praise for them.

However, after touring CCY, meeting both the director and assistant director, and interacting with the teachers, I am so happy we made the switch. My child has learned so much, loves his teachers and his days in care, and while it was a rough transition (due to his age, not the facility), everyone at CCY helped us both through the process. Having issues arise at our last place wasn't ideal, but I almost see that as a silver lining, as it lead us to Children's Courtyard. Also, while it isn't a requirement for good care, the app they have is so great! You get lots of updates, its easy to communicate with staff, and you're able to change your info and make payments yourself through the app or website.
