I saw a doctor in Joliet who automatically was suggesting that I might have a tumor or MS. I have scoliosis and was hoping it was a pinched nerve. He suggested that I get an MRI of the neck and brain. Being a frugal shopper, I shopped around because I have a huge deductible that wasn't met. The cost of a neck and brain MRI is pricey but I discovered that FDG included the radiology report among other things. I also discovered that they are one of the most competitively priced diagnostic facilities in the area. I went in and was not disappointed at all by the friendly front desk staff and professional techs. I read the last review and found it hard to believe that a tech would offer assessment information because when I asked a tech if she could tell me if she saw anything scary she told me that the radiologist is the one that is able to make the assessments and would provide a thorough report on the findings. Even though it was a holiday weekend (Labor day weekend) I had my report forwarded to my doctor on Friday ( I came in on the day before which was Thursday). Now I don't know if the reports will always come so quickly but I feel that the radiologist might take a quick peek at imaging stuff to see if there is anything glaringly obviously wrong, then would place that on a priority screening (I think but I have no idea what really is their policy, perhaps they stick to a fist screen first read; I don't know). Either way, my experience at Future Diagnostics Group was as good as could be expected under the circumstance of sitting in a MRI booth with knocks and pings, but that really wasn't that bad either, I was actually falling asleep and felt very relaxed. Would I recommend FDG for other screenings? Yes. Of course you should do your homework and shop around if you need to but I don't think you would be disappointed. All I could say is that the staff was nice and professional and that was good enough for me. M.B.

I just wrote a review for Future Diagnostics at New Lennox because I didn't see this location... oops... this is the location I had MRI done. It's located in Joliet. Well worth the drive from Chicago!! Everyone was so professional, medically knowledgeable and so very kind and caring!!! And the MRI cost was nearly 1/3 less than the hospital I was referred to originally. I was able to get in so soon after calling!! Lori Russ is phenomenal!!! All of the MRI techs are great!! Each person I interacted with was professional, so knowledgeable and so very kind! And, each person really took the time and listened to what had been occurring with me medically..so refreshing!! It made things very tough because I had a date for surgery and surgeon needed to review the images to make a plan.

Maher is the radiologist here, and a true professional. He instructed me not to wear any metal, which was nice because I didn't have to change into scrubs which is a pain. I diligently followed his instructions and had an uneventful procedure. When I walked to the counter to checkout, I overheard Maher telling another lady that her rings, jewelry, etc. had to come off. Once imaging was done, I was handed a cd-rom and told results would be sent to my physicians office. That's where trouble began. CD had a website on it referencing a login and code to view results. No code was provided. Had to call and get it. Nothing sent to my doc. Had to call. Then Rayus only sent their radiologist report and not images. Had to call. We sent it now. Nope... they still only see report. What in the world? You had one job. This is all you do everyday. Its possible the receiving portal is at fault but I doubt it. Had to run the CD over to medical network office to get images uploaded in their system. Not cool. The minor dollars I saved and convenience of the storefront imaging site were wiped away by the waste of my time after the fact. Not sure I can recommend.

I got upset and said this seems like a scam and you are trying to take advantage of the fact I'm in pain and her reply was 'sure'. I then said so you are admitting to trying to scam me and she said you can think whatever you want to think. Unbelievable. This seems super predatory, just immediately bypass insurance and private pay please. We don't know when you are trying to get in sooner than, but we know you have to private pay to do it.
