I love Cobra irons! I wanted to get a new set of clubs because I thought technology would help me keep up with my son. I told Ben to just hand me clubs and not to worry about brand. I want whatever fits my swing, giving me more distance and accuracy. He did just that and my irons through driver all came out to be Callaway Mavriks. Ben set the clubs up to my specs and just yesterday, from the tees right under the back tees, I shot a 77. I have been targeting my clubs in at the range and wow....they hit accurate, with ease and give me distance. The shafts are the key!! I kiss my clubs all the time now because from 230 out, I have a chance to hit the green with ease! Thanks Ben! You have a convert in me. You made the whole fitting process easy and with all your expertise, you didn't make me feel like a dummy. Appreciate all you did. If I were you, I would run to his trailer and get fitted! I gave Ben and Jason a call to talk through what I was looking for. They were both super helpful and answered every question I had. To my surprise, they were able to obtain the unobtainable heads and shafts, build them, and ship them out to me in a week. Their attention to detail was just exemplary and confirmed every detail with me, including the type of ferrule I wanted on the clubs. I've had clubs custom fitted and made before, but these guys are in a class of their own. I know I will be making equipment changes in the future, and I can't wait to work with Ben and Jason again! I have had the worst experience with Oregon Tackle that I have heard had with any company. I…read moreordered several colors of the same size spinner blade which I use to make my own spinning lures. When the package arrived, I saw the colors were correct but the blades were a size too small. Since the order arrived on Saturday I had to wait until Monday to call the company to find out what went wrong with my order. I talked to a man named Adam (I think the same person who took my original order) who proceeded to give me some kind of run around about their blades being one size off from everybody else who makes spinner components. But after some discussion he told me the proper size blades would get to me the next day,Tuesday, barely in time to make up some spinners for a scheduled fishing trip the following Wednesday. Well, Tuesday came and went and no blades from Oregon Tackle. I didn't even get them by the following Friday. So, I called again that afternoon and talked to Doug Hays who I believe is the owner of the company. Doug gave me an even bigger run around than Adam had. But again, Doug assured me the proper blades would arrive on Saturday. As I write this review on that Saturday, the mail has been delivered and NO blades from Oregon Tackle. These people must have zero business sense. I have been making my own spinners for almost 25 years using components from several different manufacturers and Oregon Tackle has the WORST customer service of any of them. I'm not sure I'd even call what they did to me "customer service". It was more like they thought they could send me anything they wanted and I'd be happy with it. If it weren't for the fact Oregon Tackle is the only spinner component manufacturer who offers the blade colors I was looking for I'd never do business with them again. Stay away from these people unless you want to get insulted, belittled and made to feel like any error is entirely your fault.
