I came in around 11:15 am and was immediately told to just sit wherever but in a very rude and dismissive way. After about 5 mins I received a place setting and water. Finally the same woman who seated me came back and asked for my order. I ordered the Thali lunch (the reason I came here in the first place was to try it). She rudely answered that it "wasn't ready". So I had to start over with the menu. I ended up ordering Chicken Korma and Naan. This is for a total of $14.50 versus the $9.99 of the Thali lunch, and with the Thali lunch I would have gotten variety instead of just one entree. So how was the food? Okay at best. The Korma was very mild in spice and flavor. The chicken was cooked properly and tasted alright. The naan was undercooked and a little doughy. The rice was fine. The guy that delivered my food to me was the first person that was halfway nice. I really wanted to try the Thali and I'm tempted to come back but the service here was just SO unfriendly that I don't think I'll be back. Sorry, I just can't recommend this place. read more

Slow but tasty. Only reason it wasn't a 4 star. Masti wings were very good! Just enough spics and the flavor was amazing. Shrimp Lababdar and garlic Naan was amazing together. Lamb quesadilla was a unique spin on the dish. Ground lamb with Indian spices shoved in a tortilla!!! Also tried the fish and chips (daughter not that adventurous just yet). This was an odd flavor combination with the chick pea flour and curry marinade. Chick pea flour is a tad sour. I would stick to traditional Indian dishes. Again super slow. Sunday 2/17/19 - 2pm Party of 3 We needed a quick bite before the movies on a cold dreary Atlanta day (sounds like all Atlanta winter days) and found this place in the same shopping center. The interior is bright and lively. We were lucky to get the last available table. The waiter brought a bowl of colorful puffy "noodles" which we weren't sure about but they were quite tasty. We ordered a variety of dishes that the waiter ensured us wouldn't take too long since we were on a time crunch. Momo, Gol Gappa and deconstructed Samosas and masti wings. Every dish was really good! The mild wings had quite a bite, especially the more you ate. I loved the curried chick peas with yogurt and mint in the deconstructed samosas. I thought the food prices were reasonable but not the alcohol! Steep prices for tiny drinks full of ice. On our next trip to ATL, I'd like to try them again, especially some of their tempting desserts! read more

I have eaten at numerous Indian/Himalayan/Pakistani restaurants for over 20 years. These styles of food are some of the most flavorful and healthy foods found on Earth. On a whim,we visited this place expecting the usual flavorful Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised that even delicious food can be improved upon. Masti Street Food is the best Indian Street food place that I have ever had the pleasure to eat at. The sevice is the best I have experienced yet. The food is perfectly balanced, not too spicy. The food is unique and has the freshest ingredients available. I must say, even their Mango Lassi is the best that I have had. Try their Masti Masala Fries. You will never eat regular fries again. If you have an allergy to nuts then just request no nuts or ask which dishes do not have nuts. I highly recommend this place as it keeps the feel of an authentic Indian environment. read more

This place is really great, and I love how unique and tasty some of their combinations are. My favorite item by far is the chicken 65 alfredo korma. I've been to this place so many times, and it's always what I get. When I dine in, the portions were always massive, and I would struggle to finish the meal. My 1 complaint is that the takeout portion sizes are significantly smaller than what's served in the restaurant. Whenever I get takeout, I'm left feeling unsatisfied. If you're looking for a unique cuisine and great dining experience, I highly recommend checking Masti out. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat back home. I don't live in Johns Creek anymore, but I miss Masti a lot. read more

Although the food was pretty good, my group ran into some difficulties with service. They forgot my sister's order entirely and because we didn't have one server checking in on us, we had to ask someone else about our food 3 times. They said it was coming but we could tell they had forgotten to make the order so it came out after everyone else was done eating. On top of this, it was a tikka paneer special that was essentially fried cheese chunks with veggies for $15. It wasn't flavorful or memorable and sadly disappointing after a long wait. I tried the tikka masala and samosa. They were both well made and delicious. Overall, the food was great minus the tikka paneer special. It would be helpful to have a short description of the specials as well. Unfortunately, they provided us with receipts that did not indicate tip was included so we were very confused by the cost being so high. No one informed us tip was added, which I thought was concerning as well. I enjoyed the food but I wish they had a server per table as I think the order and service gets lost in translation when every worker is working all the tables. read more

Really well made food and great service! Decided to try this place out for dinner after previously enjoying a lunch at the Toco Hills location. Setting: open space inside the restaurant, great because you don't feel crowded. Food: we had thali platters with the daily specials. I had the vegetable korma, which had a nice creamy texture to it. I think it was my favorite part of the meal. I also ordered the chicken aloo sag which has a very earthy taste, wouldn't recommend if it's your first time with Indian or south Asian food. My friend reported the paneer and butter chicken to be lovely, as expected! Service: very friendly service! Prompt and accurate. Cost: medium to low cost meals! We paid $15/ea for the thali plates. The naan quickly filled us up. The same dishes are $10 at lunch hour. read more

I have always enjoyed my visits to Masti at Toco Hills and so glad their unique menu has arrived OTP. The food is just as good as the previous location and service is up to par as well... there is more available parking here than at Toco Hills so that's a plus ... We visited on the hottest day of the year (so far, "thanks global warming") and the interior here was overly warm with the high ceilings and cement floors and not much had changed from the numerous restaurants that previously inhabited this space but it does seem cleaner... So I have been submersed in Indian cuisines since I moved out to the Georgia area from New Jersey. I consider myself to be connoisseur of good food and have quite an extensive knowledge of the culinary arts since I've been well groomed by a variety of Italians who owned very popular restaurants in my home state. I happen to get around the kitchen fairly well myself. The beauty about being a foodie is not only the fantastic food you get to enjoy, but also the fantastic people you get to meet while you're at it. This one happens to be one of my favorite restaurant managers who has become a dear friend and who has an outstanding life story. I very simply have adopted him as one of my own. Awesome Indian food with a twist! We love hispanic food and gave this a try because we thought it would be similar. We were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered some delicious chicken and Indian quesadillas and a few other things. Everything was delicious! Service was great and super fast! I love the lunch they offer. It is exactly what you would experience if you lived in India. Actually my visit yesterday to Matsi reminded me of a documentary per the BBC about Indian Lunch Vendors. Upon entering the restaurant we were made feel very welcome. The staff are very professional and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The restaurant is very clean. Lastly I definitely look forward to visiting Masti Street Eats in the near future. Note the restaurant is very close to the Movie Theatre's. Great spot to visit for a date night or a family outing. We went here because we wanted to try something different, my husband served in Afghanistan for some years and enjoyed the food. So we figured this place would be pretty authentic. We guessed right! My husband said the last time he'd ate Indian food that tasty he was in Army fatigues. The overall experience was good, the waiter we had was friendly and spoke good English (which helps when you are asking for suggestions on what to eat). I know that most Indian dishes are spicy, but I do not like spicy. I shared that with the waiter so that he could steer me in the right direction. He told me that they can make any dish on the menu not be spicy! I can't remember the name of what I ordered, but it was described as a creamy tomato dish with chicken, not only was it not spicy it had a savory sweet taste to it. My husband ordered the curry vegetables, the lamp chop dish and we also ordered the garlic naan bread, very tasty indeed. I only gave a 3 rating because I saw a crawling bug, it wasn't a roach but whatever it was it shouldn't be in a restaurant. But overall it was ok. Would I go back yes and I have gone back. read more

This restaurants has a nice location since it's in the regal theater complex. This place has some fusion items on the menu that I love. I love the kabob dogs, chicken 65 Alfredo korma pasta and Delhi Chinatown Hakka noodles. Also give butter chicken quesadillas, I'm not a great fan of them but my friends really loved it. Drinks I liked were aam pana(mango drink for summers, sour in taste), badam milk( milk with almonds and pistachios). What I did not like at this place is paneer sliders, lamb fried rice and aloo tikki burger. On your way out don't forget to check out the mouth fresheners they have. read more

Our family was initially hesitant to try this place; we'd found our fave Indian and couldn't be bothered to try another place that we couldn't imagine being as good (after many bad experiences trying other new places). Our daughter insisted we try it and I'm so glad we did. It is SOOO good, and they have so many incredible dishes that it's hard to decide what to order. I'm a sucker for their tikka masala vegetable dish and samosas. My daughter raves about the Tandoori chicken, and my husband loves the tikka masala with lamb. Love this place! This was my fourth time here and I've only grown to enjoy myself more! As you can see in the photos, the food looks great, but I'm here to tell you that it tastes even better! The korma has become one of my "go-tos": it's just so creamy and delicious and I've had both the lamb and chicken korma and both are great! I also always have to order some naan! I like to put whatever creamy chicken and rice dish I order on my naan. So good! I ALSO always order a mango lassi to wash it all down! It's a terribly well-balanced meal! Last but not least, the service is great! There's one server in particular who is the friendliest guy ever. I asked him about the Indian lemonades they have (because I had no idea what they were like) and he brought me little samples of each one! The food is really good here it's pretty close to real Indian because I've had! It's not flexible because I asked to add veggies to another order and I couldn't. I ordered a chicken curry that came with bell peppers it's really good I'm not gonna lie. My boy friend asked for hot sauce and he said it came with a different entree. He ended up ordering lamb korma really really spicy but I guess the server forgot and he didn't wanna wait 20ish minutes. They also give you sink water. It was small for its prices in m my opinion as well.
