    Panner Tikka Burger
    Kishore B.

This probably has to be the best Indian fusion restaurant in the Metro Atlanta area. Such a wide variety of options (decent Vegetarian choices) and very exciting combinations. Pricey but delicious. THE FOOD: We got a plate of Paneer Tikka burger and Paneer Tikka Alfredo Pasta. We went with medium spice option for the pasta and it was good. The sauce was excellent and this fusion was really good. Although I felt the Paneer could have been cooked better or soft, felt so bland and rubbery at times. Could have been marinated or the paneer itself could have been a tad better. The Burger comes with fries on the sides. The Paneer was not deep fried and felt like the kebab paneer. The sauce or the flavors were excellent in this burger. But the biggest downside being the burger just falls apart as you start to eat. Could have been stacked better. Comes with a lot of onions but I would pick this over Pasta. It's very pricey and we get a good amount of portion, but still I feel something's missing for this price. They do have a dessert section but most of the items are not available (Shahi Tukda is what we asked for). Decent beverage (non alcoholic) section as well. AMBIENCE & SERVICE: A very dimly lit restaurant with a typical bar-restaurant mood and setting. It has got some loud music (bar vibes again) with so many TV screens to keep you occupied. Wait time is less though. Interestingly an automated robot gets your food served at your table. The service was good and prompt. The restroom was clean as well. Literally no crowd at all at 8PM on a Friday night. Highly surprising for an Indian restaurant but yes they are open until late night. BOTTOMLINE: A very interesting restaurant to try probably if you are into fusions especially Indian flavors in American, Italian or Mexican food. Worth a try for sure. So many options on menu but wish they could have them available if not take them off the menu. On the expensive side of things. And also for vegetarian I wish they could have few more options than just having Paneer Tikka related items mostly.

    Biryani

Ordered 3 items at 2:30 PM during peak hours, but the biryani they served was spoiled. To make it worse, they didn't even bother to say sorry. Please be cautious

ATL Pakka Local is a unique spot to grab food and drinks at. It's an Indian sports bar that's truly one of a kind in the area. They offer fusion Indian food from four main categories - Indian Italian Mexican Indian Chinese Indian American Indian They also offer your standard north Indian curries, etc. that is offered at most restaurants. My friend ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala w/Garlic Naan which he enjoyed. He said it was sweet and the portion sizes were generous. My girlfriend ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala Penne Alfredo which she and I both love. It comes with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, paneer, in a mild, tangy tomato sauce mixed with alfredo. A good option for kids as well. I ordered the spicy version of the Chinese hakka noodles. They were pretty spicy as they add cut up chiles. It was flavourful and savory. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Pricing is fairly pricey so we opted out of drinks. I highly recommend multiple visits to check out the different types of Indian fusion you can get. :)

Seems like an American restaurant from the outside but don't let that fool you the taste is authentic Indian. Great to watch a cricket match with a group of friends or to just hang out with groups. The restaurant is sports themed and has a good mix on every time. They have human and robo servers which is interesting and quite efficient. I highly recommend their indo chinese dishes. Their menu caters to vegans, vegetarian and non vegetarian. There is ample of parking and an EV charger in the adjacent plaza. They also have promos from time to time so don't forget to check their Instagram or just ask the server before you order.

Hubby and I had a blast on our date night here! Everything was delicious. It's quite spicy if your stomach doesn't have the digestive system for it, lol. It's quite pricey because of the quality, but they give you enough food that you can take it to go and enjoy another round the next day! Now, I'll know where to take my best friend when she comes to visit me!

After landing in ATL and driving home we decided to stop here for some food. One of the only few places open on Christmas Eve. We ordered chicken 65, chicken wings w/ tikka masala sauce, jalapeño poppers and fries. Of course I had to try some Sweetwater IPA and the Pontoon beer. The chicken 65 was the best dish we ordered here. Full of flavor with some good chunks of chicken. The chicken wings with their tikka sauce could have used some more heat. The service was good and friendly. Our orders actually came out quicker than expected. They also have one of those robots that comes and delivers food at the table, which is something I have only seen on tv but to see it live was pretty neat. Honestly, the amount you pay does not match the quantity and quality.

Discovered this place on a late Sunday night. Points for being open past midnight in the burbs!! Plus, they have a sports bar but with an Indian vibe! Cricket playing on one end and football on the other! Highly recommend any egg based dish and any biryani. We ordered the masala omelette and it reminded me of my mom's omelette...i was in love at first bite...just the right amount of chillies and cilantro! The chicken dum biryani was delicious - tender chicken in fragrant rice and the mirchi sauce on the side added the right amount of spice. The Andhra chicken curry was good too. For the spice-averse, recommend getting mild and you can always amp up the spice with condiments! Wish the location was on a main street to attract more customers. Plenty of outdoor parking and an outdoor seating area too. Open very late!

Not sure if there is an elevator to access Joes. We sat ourselves as there was no hostess. The music was very loud and quite an active place. I didn't mind the music being loud perhaps it brought in the festive evening of it being Nee Year's Eve. Although a bit hard to hear conversation but we managed. I loved all the decorations celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve. Really done up inside the restaurant. There were lots of tables, very large bar and there is even a back side with a whole other room. Not sure if it's for larger parties or the general public as well. Didn't know about it until I walked through to check the restaurant out. We ordered Margaritas and for the price of $6.50 they were very good, can't complain. I shared a bbq bacon burger with my husband and it was delicious. We were asked how we wanted our meat cooked. The burger was large enough to share along with fries which were very good as well. I suppose they could have been a bit hotter for my liking. My daughter enjoyed their steak plate said it was cooked nicely and very tasty. Our son-in-law opted for chili hot dogs which came with two and fries. He too enjoyed them and didn't finish the two. It seemed like there were many regulars chit chatting with each other. They do have an outside dining area but it wasn't being manned that evening. Also have an outside smoking area accessible through the main dining room. The women's bathrooms were even decorated for the holidays which was fun!! The staff were friendly but we had many different servers which struck us funny. Definitely will return with our kids. Reading the menu items, it seems the food is fresh and made when ordered. Apparently the pizza dough is made fresh daily so I'd like to try it next time. The menu has many options to try.

The venue host local fans of various teams including my beloved New York Giants and my partners Chicago Bears. It is located off of the main road on a semi secluded plot of land that has ample parking, and very well lit. The patio area, which allows for smoking, is one of the first areas I noticed as several people were sitting out there on a pleasant Sunday evening. The patio also had several TVs for viewing games. Upon entry, there was seating in a bar area with additional TVs, and a larger dining area to the right of entrance and beyond the front section were pool/billiards tables with TVs around the tables. I sat at a hi-top table with my group, who had already arrived, in the larger dining area. Noticed that the booths had their own personal TVs. I let our server know that I had just arrived and would like to see a menu. She barely acknowledged me, and never returned with requested menu. My partner had arrived prior to me and had ordered the grouper sandwich with a side of okra. The grouper was grilled and fairly tasty. The okra was fried and came with a sauce that was really good. After we shared his meal, I was still interested in ordering. When the menu finally made it to me, I looked at the options and decided that I wanted to stick with fish. There were only a few options, including fish and chips, a salmon entrée, and the grouper sandwich. I decided on the fish and chips as it was described to be cod served on a bed of fries, and wanted to order a different type of fish. I pointedly asked the server if the fries had a batter similar to other establishments, and she said no. She went on to describe several other things that were not related to my question, but did confirm that there was nothing added to the fries. Unfortunate what I received was a few pieces of heavily breaded fish, and a basket of battered fries. When sharing that this is "exactly what I did not want" and inquiring about alternatives, the server repeatedly stated that sweet potato fries were available at an up charge. She said this several times, and at no point provided any solutions. My partner later shared that she told him that the sweet potato fries were also battered fries, which was exactly what I didn't want in any form, fashion or type of potato! We ended up cutting our losses with my partner, eating the fries and me dissecting the heavy breading to actually find the cod. My server never came back to check on me as I was interested in ordering a beer to go with my meal. This experience just confirms that everyone is not suitable for the service industry! The other servers that were in the vicinity appeared to be much more comfortable with larger crowds, and I actually had to ask one of them for something because my server never returned after bringing the food. Customer Service should be number one in every establishment, as I am a proponent of rewarding good service. I may return again after eating elsewhere to just enjoy the games, get a few drinks and possibly play pool as it was closed by the time I finished eating (access to the pool tables end 20 minutes prior to restaurant close time per another server - still not mine).

There has been some new owners recently so the menu changed a bit, but i find the quality of the food to always be spectacular for a 'sports bar' where i want both super high quality food and a chance to see one more more games on decent quality TVs, and they do this really well, one really large tv and some mid sized in the bar area gets you so you can see 2 or 3 games at once. I would say though, they need to get two more TVs mounted behind the bar area so there would be more options for games, but compared to many sports bars in this area, it far and away stands out as the great balance between food and the game. The wings here - off the chain good. Some of the best queso here, the wraps are good, shrimp is amazing - they do a pretty good job as a bar having some healthy options along with your typical fare, and I love that.
