Purely food based review: Papdi Chat - Big appetizer, delicious but wish there was a better balance of those potato crisps and toppings. Fish & Chips - Amazing Indian take on the dish, love the curry spice in the batter and chips were fresh & crispy. We came here on Saturday during lunch hour and started with Roasted Momo (veg.) and Gun Powder Paneer Tikka for starters, both were delicious. Stumbled across Masti trying to find a place to eat before heading home and hit the JACKPOT. Food was outstanding. My wife and I got the Bullet Naan, Paneer Sliders, Gol Gappa, and Lababdar Curry... we had no idea the proper method to eat the Gol Gappa, so Rishabh walked us through how to properly prepare it to eat. Highly recommend getting each of these! Beyond the food, the service was IMPECCABLE. My water never got less than half-full as the servers were flying around refreshing it often. Not only that, but I counted to 15 seconds in my head the moment I pushed my empty plate to the side. It only took 9 seconds for one of the waiters to grab it and clean it up. Really can't top it. I've been here once before and wasn't too impressed, but this time I was blown away! To start we got steamed momos, pan fried chili momos, and bel chat. Everything was so good! I especially loved how spicy, cripsy, and flavorful the pan fried momos were. This is a must try! The Masti fries had chunks of paneer on it and the sauce on top was so good. It was like Indian poutine. For entree I tried the aloo burger and the utthapam tacos. The tacos were big! I loved the aloo burger, good flavor and sauce. Service was fast as well. Do y'all remember a few months back when my friend @verityyata had me try Indian food for the first time?? Well, I wasn't a fan and I'm apparently WRONG This time my wife decided to join me with Verity so we could check out @mastiatlanta in Duluth. The first pic you see here is their KEEMA DOSA (lamb). Just think of a long crispy burrito, I had lamb. This is a funny plate because it takes half the table It is a bit difficult to hold but if you treat it like an overgrown burrito and hold it delicately like a baby, you'll be able to carry it and bite into it without it breaking. This flavor reminded me of like a sloppy Joe, it was good but a bit on the tangy side. Next up you'll notice TACOS... well, more like pancakes. In their defense although this is under the TACOS section, it clearly explains that these are "Indian style pancakes" which I apparently completely read over. I picked their BUTTER CHICKEN TACOS which was very tasty and had the right amount of spicy. I actually liked this plate and enjoyed the fact that it had rice in it. Easy to eat and tasty... My wife ordered some samosas (think EMPANADAS) which were OK, I expected more flavor. Verity ordered the plate you see with several little bowls... honestly I can't remember what her plate was called but their NAAN bread is absolutely spectacular, I could eat that all day. This place is HOT... like WARM hot. I don't know if their air wasn't working or if that's just the temperature they enjoy inside their building but all I know is that it felt like a sauna and everyone around me seemed just fine. I am not kidding when I say I think I must of had about 6 glasses of water, which by the way is room temperature with no ice I ordered this juice called AAM PANA which was made of green mangos.... let me tell you, it did not taste like green mangos!!!! I let my wife and Verity taste the AAM PANA to confirm whether or not I was being dramatic. Food here was good the First time....but.... I love my pet and the service and management were less than hospitable when we went to eat there with our small service pet. We chose this restaurant because of its close proximity to the movie theater and after reading previous reviews stating that the patio was welcoming to dogs. This is apparently not the case, as the management turned us away for service even with a properly leashed service animal on the patio. I would not have written a review if it were not for how astoundingly rude they were about the matter. This is our new go to spot for Indian food which includes Curry Naan and just overall delicious Indian cuisine. When we first came here they used to have a buffet but I believe they stopped serving buffet because of covid and that is just fine. Their individual dishes are high quality and fantastic flavor and delicious all around. We enjoyed the chicken masala and the goat Curry which the waiter recommended and they both prove to be on point. The prices here are very affordable and the customer service here is excellent. The quality is high and the flavor here is delicious. Parking is plentiful and we intend to come back to this restaurant as often as possible and thank the owners for being here. Also an additional Plus is that they are a walking distance from The alchemist coffee shop which is one of our favorite coffee shops in Georgia. Masti is an excellent Indian street food restaurant which delivers on it's name quite well. If you are looking for authentic tasting Indian street food (or drinks), this is a great place to visit! They have a ton of options, one of my absolute favorites is their Kathi Roll Chicken, the flavors are exceptional and it comes with yummy fries. The service here is quite good, you can order through their website for easy pickup options and there is ample parking available in the area. I would caution that their bathrooms may not be the most clean (or so I am told). Definitely recommend a visit! read more

I am already a big fan of Indian fusion foods so this place would have to really do a bad job to get me on their bad side. That said, I came here not really expecting the vast amount of Indian fusion foods that they had on the menu but also a lot of traditional dishes - some I've not seen since coming back to the states so I was thrilled at first glance. STAFF The staff here are pretty friendly and available to answer any questions. We were asking quite a few questions about the special of the day, what was good, what was the best sellers, etc etc and the waiter was quick to answer and really helped us order our dishes by letting us know what he thought we would like based on the information we gave him. There is a manager who seems to always wear a white shirt who is always friendly and available to answer any questions. Atmosphere My first time coming here, I gotta say, the presentation of the restaurant is very Indian in a sense that you are hit with many colors around the restaurant and upon sitting down we were given these round chips (almost taste like shrimp chips) that were extremely vibrant. (Kid's loved those). The cups of water were branded with this rustic look. Food When I was trying to figure out what I wanted, the waiter talked me into trying this Indian styled fusion potsticker which was served in a sweet chili sauce named - "something or another" (I have no idea the name)....searching yelp menu pictures....and....I think its called the "MOMO". Either way, it was amazing, see the photos I took for a visual. If you happen to be there just ask about the potsticker app. When I was blown away by the flavor of this I was totally in the hands of the waiter so I just had him choose whatever he wanted for me while Leah ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Tacos. I believe he ordered me a Korma with Lamb. Honestly, it took my breath away....because of the crazy spiciness lol. But once I got over sweating and hacking I really enjoyed it (you haven't had real Indian if you're not breaking a sweat). The tikka masala tacos came out a bit different than I expected. The taco size of it was more of a pancake or French styled crepe but it made the dish pretty easy to eat with a knife and fork. When you're doing fusion food, it's really hard to judge the end product because your pulling from everywhere so I will just give this a pass. The food was great, the pancake was great so...great. I loved this place so much I came back quite a few times and on my last trip I tried the Masti masala pasta and it was amazing. The sauce was thick, creamy, and very rich in flavor. You can tell a lot of love was put into this dish. ALTOGETHER If you love new Indian styled fusion or even traditional, you can find them both here. I would say the only dish that I've tried and wasn't crazy about was the fish and chips mainly because I had a strong dislike for tilapia....its just, not a good tasting fish. Our family arrived at 12:30 on Sunday after church. Surprisingly, we were the only ones there. We were immediately seated, but it took a few minutes for them to give us a menu. After awhile, I had to wave the server to order the food. We ordered samosa chat, veg thali, non-veg thali, and extra butter naan. Gave us some rice chips while we were waiting for the food. Food arrived in about 10 minutes. Food was all very good. Spice level seems to be more tailored for American spice level, but still pretty good. Thali was a good portion for $10 for lunch. Interior and restroom are very clean with a 97 health score. TVs have Indian channel with a cricket game playing. When we left, there were 6 other tables filled, 3 of which were Indian. I don't know of many places that serve thali for lunch, but glad I found this place and will come back for more. read more

Takeout review: What a cool restaurant- I've never seen Indian fusion like this before. As always, Atlanta and the surrounding metro don't disappoint when it comes to good food. I ordered the momo with veggies - soft dumplings that come with a spicy sauce, that make for a delicious appetizer! For the main part of the meal I ordered the butter chicken tacos - butter chicken served on a pancake like wrap that unfortunately didn't hold up in the microwave due to it being so fragile, but the chicken was great even after being reheated! Lastly, I got the Mumbai Quesadilla with lamb and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered. The wrap was some kind of crunchy whole grain and it came garnished with sauce and a side of diced tomatoes and sour cream. The lamb was soft and flavorful. I wish I had gotten a second order of the quesadilla instead of the taco. The portions are huge! I would love to eat inside one day, the decor was trendy and fun, and the staff were incredibly nice! read more
