Brian showed up on time on the appointed day with Wally, and they divided labor very effectively. The windows are spotless and actually appear to shine a little! I have a two story house, and the upper gutters had not been cleaned for at least three years, and Wally filled almost a third of a green waste barrel with leaves and stems from that gutter alone. I found Master's by coming to Yelp as I've never used a gutter cleaning service before. I've always cleaned my own gutters in all the houses I've lived in but we moved into a house that had an existing Pool with Solar Panels which blocked access to one long stretch of gutter on the second story roof. It can only be accessed by a long extension ladder. I have a fear....No make that and absolute phobia of ladders, probably because I fell off of one as young boy, so you wont find me on a ladder any taller then 8 feet, let alone on an extension ladder 30ft in the air, no thanks. Even though I pride myself as a do it yourself kind of guy, sometimes you gotta suck it up and leave it to the professionals. Called Masters explained my scenario, they said no problem, I was in no rush so scheduled an appointment about a week out. The day before the appointment I received a confirmation call. I decided to use Master's Window and Gutter Cleaning after call 2 other window cleaning companies. Their prices were fair, they were very responsive, and they didn't use any gimmicks to "reel me in". The job that I needed done was inside and outside cleaning of our house windows, which likely haven't been cleaned in at least 5 years (likely neglected longer than that). We purchased the house 1.5 years ago. Some of the windows had significant hard water stains where the sun had beating on them for years, which was the reason we wanted a professional cleaner. Masters was on time for both the consultation and the day of the work, they were great about communicating via text message as to when they were coming, during the job they checked in with us to make sure that we were happy with the progress that they were making and let us know about any trouble spots with the hard water stains, finished in a timely manner even with having had done some of the windows 3 times because of the hard water stains, and stuck with the original quote that we received from them in spite of the extra work that they put in. He realized that we didn't need as much done as we originally thought so he called his boss and was able to reduce the price. The person arrived on time and told me that it would be a 12-hour project, as he was solo most of the day, but "maybe" other people would come help. I had not anticipated 12 hours for a simple window cleaning. They certainly knew the number of windows and details of the house, but never warned me that they would send one single person to tackle it all, for TWELVE HRS? I had to abruptly take the day off work, and tried to "roll with it." This one guy went into my bathroom early almost as soon as he arrived. He spent about 20 min there, stunk up the bathroom, and clogged the toilet. I sent him home. One of these issues alone would not cause me to rate one star, but both issues led me to conclude that this is not a very organized or professional company. read more

The owner of this business came by on Thursday to pick up the pole they left by accident, and asked if there was anything he could do to help with the cleanup process. I told him I already picked up all the torn handles, and he offered to go to the hardware store to replace them. That really meant a lot that he went out of his way to try and help me out. Brian has cleaned gutters and windows for me on several occasions and has always done a great job. I was out of town the last time I had him come over. The insides of my windows has been cleaned recently, but I authorized him to clean both the insides and outsides of my windows if be felt that it was needed. (With the outsides dirty, it was hard to tell if the insides were truly clean.) I was pleasantly surprised when Brian only cleaned the outsides, essentially turning down my money even though I had already expressed my willingness to pay for a full cleaning. My wife and I hired Master's Window and Gutter Cleaning to clean all of our gutters and interior and exterior windows. We have a two-story home with very high second floor gutters and high ceilings requiring ladders for a number of windows. Brian and his partner did a FANTASTIC job on all of it. After they washed all the windows, they walked around and did a bunch of touch up spot cleaning. They even walked around with a little razor blade scraper tool and scraped little spots off that didn't come off with the initial scrubbing. They spent as much time as it took and ended up staying till near dark, until all of the windows were perfect. I highly recommend them! I used this company because of the yelp reviews. I got an estimate of $135 over the phone for 10 windows - 2 were sliders and 2 were very large. I told the guy on the phone that I really wanted the tracts cleaned mostly. I appreciate giving me an estimate over the phone - many companies refuse. He did a great job, though charged me extra because the tracts were extra dirty. UPDATE: I should have said that after I told the worker I was unhappy about the extra charge because I felt that cleaning the tracts should be included in the price, he lowered the price close to the original estimate. I felt uncomfortable about the extra charge and I must amend my original rating because according to my daughter who is in business for herself I was unreasonable and I can see her point. So happy I had this wonderful company come out to brighten my home!! First of all, I called 4 window cleaning companies to get estimates.... Brian, the owner of Masters Window cleaning was the only one who called me back immediately! 2 of the others returned my call 3 days later and the fourth never called back. Brian was ver friendly and professional and we scheduled a time that could fit my schedule. On cleaning day two very professional young men arrived at my home and got to work immediately!! Paul checked the number and size of windows to make sure my estimate was correct, which it was, while the other employee, sorry I forgot his name, got to work on the outside removing and cleaning screens. I got the premium package and for approx 2 hours these guys worked their butts off doing inside, outside, screens and tracks!! The outcome was excellent and the price was VERY affordable !!! Scheduled appt to have gutters cleaned. No technical arrived at scheduled time. Called office 1 1/2 hrs after schedule appt and was told they were running behind and would be there soon. Got a subsequent call 30 min later that they weren't going to make it. Received new appt within a couple of days:). Expect better communications, after all I took time off work to be home for scheduled appt. They told me that wasn't necessary so I trusted them and wasn't home for the subsequent appt, big mistake. The mess they made was unbelievable..debris all over my patio, front porch, driveway , sliders and in my pool. If this is normal, then they should tell the customer what to expect.
