I have had several amazing experiences with Masters! All of them have been great. The entire staff at Masters are incredibly professional and very friendly. Their work is outstanding! I would never consider any body shop except Masters!! read more

Stellar experience with this Company! Competitive pricing and quick estimates. And on site rentals!!

"Masters Auto Body will guarantee the workmanship and paint for as long as you own the vehicle." I must admit, I was very skeptical when I read this on their website. However, I'm here to tell you that it's 100% true! On our way back from a trip, my bumper became detached on the passenger side. Once we returned to the Charlottesville area, I called Masters Auto Body, as they had installed the bumper almost two years ago. After inspecting it, they found a defect in the bumper. Masters quickly ordered a replacement and took care of everything! We were leaving within the week for another trip, and I had my car back in pristine condition, ready for our family vacation. Thank you, Vince, Jeff, and everyone we worked with for making this stressful situation smooth sailing. read more

The attitude towards a new customer was not good. 4pm Thursday afternoon...sent here by State Farm...didn't want to even look at my repair...in a big hurry to close for a 3 day weekend. One of the employees told me to leave...I took my business to another place that was very friendly. read more

They did great work and at a great price. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everyone was great to work with

I want to start off by saying Master's did an excellent job with repairing my issue and when I picked my car up, everyone was very nice. Unfortunately, there were many things that got in the way of me rating them any higher. When I was involved in a hit and run in June, I was told by a couple of people to trust Master's to take care of my car, so after a while, I called to schedule an appointment. I believe I made the appointment about a month after the incident, but I can't remember for sure. I do remember that the earliest time available was months later. I took this as a good sign. A good place will be worth the wait. Finally the date rolls around and I dropped the car off the night before and left the keys in their drop box. The next day I never got a call or a text saying they received my vehicle. This made me nervous since I never handed my keys to a human only in a box, so after not hearing anything, I decided to call in the afternoon. They did have my car, which was nice to hear, but I wish they would have reached out. From there, that's essentially how all of their communication went. I was never contacted or updated on the status of my vehicle at any point unless I called. I called once a week so I could get an idea of what they were doing. I would have liked anything from them to know so I had an estimate on when I could be ready to pick up my car. There was one incident when contacting them that frustrated me the most. I called one day and was told that a part was late but was expected the next day. The person I talked to said it was the last thing they needed before finishing putting the car together. So I waited a couple of days and called again. Typically I had called and someone was able to just answer immediately about the status of my car. The person I reached started doing the same and then the line disconnected. I figured I would call back and a new person answered. When I asked about my vehicle, they forwarded me straight to a voicemail box. I hung up and figured I might just get a call back from the first person. Nope. All of this was still not as bad as when I went to pick up my vehicle. It had rained the night prior and it had been really cold out. Well when they were working to pull my car out, they found that it was dead. They couldn't get the trunk open because the lock was frozen. Fine most of this is out of their control or so I thought. I later found that both doors to my vehicle were not closed all the way. This let water in and then froze to the carpet and this is what killed the battery. Master's did excellent work on the body panels of the car and even went above and beyond on the work. They did a lot more than I expected, but I cannot rate them any higher than because of the neglect they showed towards me and my vehicle. read more

Not only the service and people are extremely professional, everybody is very helpful and respectful and the place is very clean and happy! Jeff and his team went above and beyond to help us and work with our insurance company. A stinky situation (my fender bender) couldn't have ended any better. I highly recommend Masters Auto Body Shop. read more

I wouldn't pay any attention to the reviews boo-hooing over the fact that their walk-in business wasn't stellar. I too was less than happy to learn that I had to wait 2 days for an estimate and sorrier still when I found out the actual repair wouldn't be for 6 weeks! But... here's the thing. They are busy. Why? Because they are AWESOME at what they do. I'm glad I had the patience to wait. My estimate appointment took 10 minutes and everything went smoothly. The repair? 2 days. I was shocked when they called to say it was ready. And the result? Phenomenal! I'm no expert in auto body repair but I can't tell my car was ever rear ended AND my paint must not have been easy to match - the car is five years old and the paint has heavy metal flake. Outstanding work. Worth the wait. read more

Masters auto body is the best! They got my car in the shop the same day I called. Their communication with me, efficiency, customer service and the quality of their work is amazing! Highly recommend! They went above and beyond for me and blew my expectations out of the park. Thank you for everything! read more

We had a great experience here! We had some minor body and suspension damage to a 2019 Kia, and the local Kia dealer recommended that we bring it here. The group was great to work with and easy to communicate with. The final product was amazing - they restored the car to like-new quality and even went above and beyond to clean the car out a bit before we picked it up. Really happy with the whole experience! read more

June 1st I was rear ended at a stop light. The crash ended up causing significant body and frame damage to my 2013 prius, and a mild concussion to me ‍. After a long wait with insurance and a police report I was finally able to look for getting my car fixed. It only took 8 days (8!) to fix significant body and frame damage to my car, it looks and feels brand new even though its a 10 year old car. When i was going back and forth with my insurance company as well as the person who hit me's insurance i felt like I was getting nowhere and I had a hard time understanding the process. Masters took care of all the communication with the other persons insurance and all I had to do was schedule a drop off time! Their customer service was wonderful and helped me a lot through this stressful event. I chose masters because a coworkers family member was hit several weeks before my incident and they fixed her car just as fast. Their speed is very reliable! read more

Really awful customer service. I came in for an estimate on my daughters vehicle. The receptionist made it clear they were very busy. She didn't smile at all. She acknowledged I was disappointed they couldn't see my car immediately. She offered no apology and no alternate options, other than my returning at another time. I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. She was very matter-of-fact and clearly wasn't interested in my business. I told her I was disappointed and would not be coming back. I added that I would tell my friends and she said "good." So friends, I'm telling you. My recommendation when looking for a body shop, find a place that wants your business. I went down to Cosner auto body down the street. They acknowledged me immediately and provided me a handwritten estimate within eight minutes. read more

I had a little fender bender and then, during the February ice storms, a tree fell on my windshield. I got several quotes but Toyota recommended a Masters Auto Body. They weren't the lowest but they were very courteous and thorough-- so I went with them. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, excellent excellent job they did with my car. I was able to get a Rent-A-Car from them for two days while they fixed it. When I got in my car, it was completely detailed back to new smelling and looking! I would highly recommend Masters Auto Body. A true heart-in-Charlottesville company. read more

After reading some reviews, I trusted Masters to fix up my new pickup and I couldn't be happier! They are really nice folks and did a great job fixing my truck. I can't even tell it was ever hit. The ladies at the front desk worked with Progressive and handled all the insurance matters w/o an issues, and the guys in the back fixed everything and answered my various questions. It stands to reason why their garage is quite busy: they are friendly and do good work. I highly recommend Masters! read more

I have all good things to say about my experience at Master Auto body shop. Everyone was so so kind and patient and so understanding and ready to help however they could. I was taken care of very good!! Thank you guys very much! Special shout out to Jeff, Pam, Wendy, and Chris!!:) read more

I never write reviews but this time I must. I as rear ended on the Washington Beltway. Masters service was timely and professional. They made my car look like new again. But the best part was when I got inside and found that Masters had completely cleaned my car. The seats, dash, doors, floors and windows. And they made it smell so good too! I have never gotten my car back in this kind of condition from any body shop. Thank you Masters. read more

These guys were so patient and accommodating to me when I was having the WORST day. I hit a deer and they helped me to gather my stuff, talk me down when I was in tears, and were accommodating to let my mom pay over the phone. THEN, when I came to pick up my car, my rental had been hit, I was in tears again (it was a long week) and their mechanic came out and buffed up the scratches on the rental. These guys went WAY above and beyond and although I don't want to have to use them again, if I do, I will 100% use Masters. read more

Brought my husbands truck in on a Tuesday and they had no knowledge Of it being there! Told me we brought in on Friday. So work not started and now we are almost 2 weeks in. Concerned that if they don't have a clue when they even received the vehicle that the work will be badly done. read more

Roof of Toyota, plus a couple other sections, repaint from recall. Great job. Picked up today. Entire car clean as a whistle. Obviously they are taking precautions for Covid. Very pleased with the service. read more

I couldn't be happier with Masters Auto Body. I damaged a friend's NEW car when borrowing it when I was visiting from the West Coast. I had to handle everything remotely, and they made a very painful problem less painful. Chris Deane and Pam both returned my calls and emails promptly. And although the pandemic makes parts take a long time to get in which is out of their control, they kept me informed, and did the work as promised. Pam even arranged for a rental car that was available right on the premises for an extremely reasonable fee. Vince, the manager, always got back to me as well, and I feel the whole place is run well and is devoted to customer service. The repair was done excellently, and it looks like nothing ever happened which is exactly what I wanted. read more

Repair took a day or two longer than I expected but when I brought my domestic vehicle in after an accident and discovered the luxury and classic models I realized I'd found a great spot. They worked with the insurance company to adjust the quote and went the extra mile in cleaning and vacuuming the car. Overall an excellent repair shop-especially if someone else is paying for it. read more

Outstanding in every way I just picked up my car from Masters. It is the 3rd time -over a number of years that I have used them and every time it has yielded great results plus they take care of the rental car if you need one while your car is being repaired. One time there was a small problem I noticed when i returned home-called them-they said bring it back in and they took care of it on the spot. They are not only great at what they do but friendly and easy to deal with. Can't say enough positive comments and I have had to deal with other body shops in the past=some good and some bad but never great except this place. read more

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Masters Auto Body. I was able to swing by one day and receive an estimate in just a few minutes. The work on my car was then completed in a timely fashion. Additionally, they had a rental car for me to use during the repairs. A few weeks after the work was completed a couple of warning lights came on in my dashboard. I called Masters Auto Body and they told me to bring the car by so that they could hook it up to diagnostics and make sure it had nothing to do with the work they did. It turns out that it didn't, but they reset the codes anyway, and didn't charge me. They even took the time out of their day to drive my car to me because I was stuck at work. Will always refer people here. Keep up the great work. read more

The front end of my Prius got hit, and both Toyota and State Farm recommended Masters. The folks there did a great job, going way beyond the call. And everyone was extremely nice too. read more

Excellent work, and equally important, outstanding service from everyone in the shop. The only downside is that there can be a long waiting list to have your car repaired, but I see that as a sign that their customers know that their work is worth waiting for. Highly recommended. read more

If you're in need of a body shop, look no further than Masters. Not only were they significantly lower in estimate, but my car came out looking better than before. Absolutely flawless. Also, she needed an inspection while in the shop. Masters went out of their way to take her to get inspected after the repair -- above and beyond. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. read more

The people here are very kind and easy to work with. As a younger woman, I absolutely dread going to body shops because I feel like I'm going to get charged a ton of money for things I don't need. I went here to get my turn signal fixed, and the same guy who checked me in fixed it in about 10 minutes, then didn't charge me a cent. Just fantastic customer service in a place I would definitely go back to. read more

I dropped in on these folks yesterday morning with my side scraped car. I felt they were exceptionally responsive, not just professional but truly kind hearted. This is the kind of business you are happy to support because the people choose to go the extra mile. Great results from the job they did. I will definitely be back if future repairs are needed. read more

I sent them my car to repair after a bad fender bender and it was very poorly done. Come to find out they left out screws, my radiator was missing a fan and the radiator was left loose to to just bounce around in car. There was nothing holding my radiator in place, because the forgot to put in the support bracket... but they vacuumed my interior so I guess that's something. So now I have to zip tie pieces of my car together until the parts come in. Would not recommend read more

I called Master's Auto Body to fix a minor area of damage on our car. I was able to get it in quickly for an estimate. I had them do the work and got it back a day earlier than expected. The car looks like new. Not only did they do the body work, it was washed and vacuumed. Got the car back in much better shape on the inside and out. The staff was great to work with. The price was so reasonable we decided to pay it without filing a claim through our insurance. Can't say enough on how pleased we are with Master's Auto Body! read more

Worst experience ever. I stopped by to get an estimate and after finding out their 9 am appointment hadn't shown I requested that slot. Not only was I the only one on the premises needing a estimate I was told to return at 1. I understand the need for an appointment, but I was already there and their scheduled appointment was a NoShow! We never use or recommend this shop!!! read more
