I'd recommend the curry chicken rice or pork belly rice, very good. Service is good and owner is very friendly.

The Tuna Carpaccio was easily my favorite! 10/10! The yuzu and sesame pairing was so bright and flavorful, and it was one of those dishes I could have ordered again and again. We also tried the Eggplant & Pine Nut Bing, Little Gem Salad, Tomato Salad, Mushroom Crispy Rice, Crispy Potatoes, and the Strip Steak. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the strip steak was cooked to perfection. I paired my meal with a glass of red wine, which went perfectly with the steak. Overall, great food, great service, and a really enjoyable experience. Definitely worth coming back for!

The buns were definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. All three dips were delicious, and each one gave the bread a completely different flavor. The steak and eggs crispy rice was packed with flavor. The crispy rice added a really nice texture and made the dish more interesting than a typical steak and eggs. The steak could have used a bit more salt. The Branzino was another solid choice. It was flavorful. Such well balanced flavors . If you're looking for something lighter than the steak and eggs but still substantial, this is a good option. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming without being overbearing.

I drove through the LA area today and decided to try this "hidden" Sichuan restaurant. The vibe…read moreinside is chill and plant-filled, creating a calm, inviting atmosphere that pairs nicely with the bold flavors on the menu. I ordered Mike's Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (I asked for it non-spicy for myself), and my friend had the regular Beef Noodle Soup. The soups were very, very good, and the beef was tender and well marbled, lending a subtle richness to every bite. The noodles had a satisfying chew--slightly springy with a bit of bite that held up well in the flavorful broth without turning mushy. The broth itself was savory with a balanced chili kick that lingered pleasantly. I also tried the Szechuan Salad. The numb, tingling bite from the Sichuan flavors was pleasantly surprising. Will definitely be back!

Street parking in front or nearby. Pleasantly surprising. Beef noodle soup - this was my favorite thing we tried. Comforting numbing spice & the beef is braised well. I wish there was a deeper beef broth flavor though, as it's written over by the spice. Dan dan noodle - plain dan dan noodles. They're good, but I wish they were spicier and used more qq fresh noodles. Sesame noodles - too sweet for me. Not the biggest fan Mapo tofu - wish this was spicier (both spice & numbing).

But let me tell you this place was a blessing in disguise!! First this place is in small little shop with a counter and man does this place have some charm they don't make restaurants like this no more, and we were able to snag a boot, and when I say small they have 3 booths and a counter with 6 seats and this place filled up fast. Now to the food, got the combination with sashimi and chicken teriyaki and my buddy got the tempura and the cut sushi rolls... everything was amazing, came out quick and hit the spot something about small mom and pop restaurants that hit different form the Chains. Service here can't get any better, our waitress was so nice and despite this place being packed she was very attentive and just a great person to talk to about the history of this restaurant. I love the ambiance here, very charming and just feels like going to grandmas house I dunno!! Overall I will definitely come back for the pork katsu looks delicious!! Thanks for the food and hope more people will discover those gems in the city

We had Daisy as our server, and were very happy. We had tea, tonkatsu curry, gyoza, chicken teriyaki bowl, and a combination plate with teriyaki beef and tempura. Everything was delicious, traditional, and portions were generous. I do wish they had a restroom, that is the one and only change I would make. We will definitely be back to visit this gem!

I also got the Ruma Latte, which was delicious--sweet & tasted like caramel in a cup. We shared the mochi pancake after seeing it recommended on TikTok! It's was good but not life changing. We went close to opening, so the atmosphere was peaceful & cozy. The staff was kind & welcoming, though we did have to ask a few times for our table to be cleared. Since the two-person tables are small, a bit more attentiveness would've made the experience even better. Overall, great food, cozy vibes, & I'd definitely come back!

Hubby & I had high expectations for dinner, but we were not impressed by the flavors. Many of the…read moredishes were lacking balance. Yang's fried chicken wings - this was a solid dish. Chicken was juicy. I usually don't eat chicken wings. Even after it got cold, the wings still tasted tender and not dry. Grilled Cabbage with Bagna Cauda - I do like a good cabbage dish, but the cabbage was under charred, way too greasy, & lacked acidity. After finishing the half portion of cabbage, it left an unpleasant after taste. Not a well balanced dish at all. Not my favorite dish. Maybe we should've gotten a simple salad instead. Dan Dan Campanelle - the dish came warm not hot. Good flavors and the Campanelle had a good chew, but not an exceptional dish. Hainan Fish Rice - I was so looking forward to this dish. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again lacking balance. The ginger oil is muted and purely decorative, lacking the sharp, sinus-clearing bite needed to wake up the dish. Without the bright, raw punch of ginger and chili, the dish tastes heavy and one-dimensional. I just wished there were more flavors and not just the taste of oil with each bite of fish and ginger. Good ingredients used, but just too heavy on the oil, too light on the aromatics. We didn't fully enjoy our meal as much as we would've liked. We might come back and try the brunch some day.
