    Gen Tso's chicken

One or twin items. Rice or lo mein. Line moves quickly. It's a mall place In a food court so get your food and keep moving. Portions were generous. Flavor was good. Noodles were warm not hot. And chicken wasn't crisp. For under ten dollars it is a great deal.

Hear me out lol the fried shrimp are good. They were cold though the rice is just okay.

Came at 7:35 and the mall closes at 8:00. Walked up to the counter and a Hispanic woman rudely tells me, "we closed." There was still a bunch of food still in the pans, but I guess she didn't want to serve me. Won't be coming here ever again.

    Raw.

Absolutely DISGUSTING. I ordered a bourbon chicken with lo mein from there and I had my stepdad taste it. He couldn't eat it and said it was nasty. I thought he was joking. When I came home to eat the rest, I was several bites through until I felt the chicken getting chewy. I spat it out and analyzed it, finding out that it was raw in the middle and on the bottom side of the piece of chicken. I began to panic and look at all the other pieces, realizing they ALL had been severely undercooked in the middle. Like the chef put the heat so high that the outside look great but the inside was disgustingly raw. Never again. I recommend Sarku Japan if you want to get nice THOROUGHLY COOKED food. At this point, I also realized there was a slight smell of blood in the container.

Two choice combo....pepper stk and Gen's chkn. Perfect flavors !

My go to is usually the shrimp fried rice and the shrimp egg rolls. The portion size is large and they always give you a free can soda with every meal. The restaurant is always clean and the service is efficient. The staff there are always friendly and helpful!

The prices for the sushi are average or maybe slightly above average for the area, but definitely well worth it. The rolls are huge with lots of fresh tasting fish. Their California rolls are huge and have Kani/crab salad with lots of Mayo mixed it - a great classic. As for their Chinese food, it was alright. I personally enjoyed all of these dishes as a Chinese American, whereas my parents who grew up in China and Hong Kong did acknowledge that it is not very authentic. Definitely targeted for the American/western palate but still tasty nonetheless. My favorite was the eggplant and the string beans. The walnut shrimp was very good too, but a little too much breading. Wasn't a huge fan of the triple delight due to the sauce being a bit salty for my taste, but it was packed with so much seafood, meat, and veggies! The service was great - shoutout to the host Stephen and the owner/manager David! Ambiance was nice. Nicely decorated inside and large. Pleasant to eat there.

We were immediately greeted and asked if wanted a table or booth, we asked for a booth. After several minutes, our server Lea appeared and we told her to take her time so we can look over the menu. Hubby and I ended up wanting the same dish, so I ended up changing my dish to something so we can try each other's food. Upon Lea's return we ordered for appetizer thr pork dumplings, for dinner I had the noodles and prawns and hubby had the Singapore street noodles along with our drinks which included the cherry blossom martini and a peach Boba breeze. Everything was delightful. Service was quite spot on. After we dined, we opted out of getting dessert so we asked for the check. When the check arrived I was taken aback when I saw they charged taxes on everything; alcohol, food and non-alcohol which was about $5.15. Dinning for two came to about $90. I would say we will return.

The food was extremely underwhelming. The dishes lacked flavor and tasted bland, almost like they had been sitting out for a while. Nothing we ordered felt fresh or worth recommending. For a restaurant with this reputation, I expected much better quality and consistency. Overall, the experience did not live up to expectations, especially considering the price. I am a regular, I patronize this location several times per month. When the food is great it is well worth the price. On a positive note the bartender/waiter was very attentive and accommodating and the banana spring roll dessert was excellent. Hope to have a better experience on our next visit.
