I walked in, very clean place and was greeted by a very nice Lady. I look on their specials board and it said Pineapple shrimp fried rice for $12. This is my first time eating here and I was very hesitant because of the prior reviews. However, I wanted Chinese food and wasn't feeling PF Chang. The building is older and in need of some love and there is limited seating. The wait staff (a young lady) was very nice and attentive. The dishes were clean and in good order. The food was plentiful and good. Actually, it was more than good. I can't say it was excellent or the best I ever had but I would definitely return. This was the only Chinese /sushi place in the area that would allow for dine in during the pandemic. They only have a waitress on staff on Friday and Saturday nights but it was still nice to eat inside. They even gave us plates and silverware in case we didn't want to eat using our carry out containers. The food was decently priced and tasty. By far the most flavorless food I've ever had. I ordered chicken and green beans extra spicy and I had to add salt, soy sauce and chili sauce just for a little flavor. I looked over the reviews before placing an order from EAT24 it seemed good. As it is 3am my time and I'm up with really bad acid I'm thinking we got fooled. I did not order anything spicy,however the food was a bit heavy with grease/oil. Over all the food was extremely hot (temp, not spice) We ordered the "Super meals" and the prices where $10.95 (Lo mien) & $12.95 (Shrimp with Broccoli in sauce) you get your choice of soup (we/I picked the Chicken Wonton) and then per the app we thought we where getting Pepper Chicken & Crab Wonton. Well we got a "sample" bag of 1 each shrimp toast,spring egg roll,pepper chicken (fried chicken wing) & crab wonton. Well for the price the portions are VERY small to what I'm use to getting for this type of carry out. However they are filling,so my complaint would be the food isn't all that for $11-$13 under "super meals" when I could of just ordered Al Cart honestly,and had more choices for dinner. The Lo Mien came in a pint container & the shrimp & broccoli in sauce was in a small 2 (?) cup black bowel with a tiny box of white rice. I would honestly expect the portions to fall under lunch,again from my experience in ordering this type of food you normally get a bit more under "dinner/super meals" The food was very tasty but at the end of my Lo Mien it was very oily and the soup broth looked cloudy,which it shouldn't so sadly after eating the other stuff I didnt try it. Hubby Liked the Shrimp & broccoli like I said taste was good. The pepper chicken wing was very good best out of the "sample bag" The shrimp toast was way over fried a very dark brown -almost burnt appearance. Spring roll was lacking filling lots of fried dough to it & the "crab wonton" was more like a gummy cream cheese filling with a hint of flavor. We ordered shrimp egg roll's also as hubby isn't normally a fan of the other appetizers they offer,they where lacking the "shrimp" and mostly cabbage. Heard this was a good spot for Chinese. I heard wrong. General's chicken sauce was too sweet no spice even tho I asked for it to be extra spicy. I also asked for the chicken to be well done/crispy. It was soggy and definitely not crispy, cause I don't think it was done! Lemon chicken was like a bland dessert. The chicken was tasteless. I've never seen lemon chicken served like that! Located right across from White Marsh Mall in the same shopping center as Giant, this Chinese restaurant is great for takeout, delivery, and dine-in services. The menu has so many food options and you can order just about any type of Chinese food entree from here. Their lunch specials are great. For $6 you can get an entree with an eggroll and a bowl of soup and a couple of fortune cookies. China Wok also has a sushi bar and for about $10 you can get a great miso soup, salad, and 2 rolls for lunch. Like many Chinese restaurants, the dinner prices are a few bucks more than the lunch entrees, but that is typical anywhere. If you want to order takeout, I advise that you call about 10 minutes in advance so you don't have to wait for your order....unless you don't mind waiting. The service is great and they are quick with the food. It's a nice place to have lunch if you work in the White Marsh area and have about an hour. read more

Well there were tons of beans and they were fine but the chicken- disgusting, burnt and soaked in soy sauce. So salty I couldn't even eat the chicken, if that is what it even was. The first time I came here, their service was deplorable. We ended up walking out without ordering. But sometimes when I want sushi, I also want wonton soup. My sushi spot in this area, Kobe, is expensive (because I insist on ordering giant clam as it's the only place I've found that has it consistently) and doesn't have wonton soup. So this low budget place suits me just right. I haven't even had any of their Chinese other than the wonton, but the sashimi is good and they have scallop sashimi...which seems to be hit or miss in these parts. For a while there was a server there who was simply awful, but I don't think she is there anymore. Everyone is usually friendly and the service is quick. Not bad... I was craving greasy Chinese takeout so I dragged my friend to grab some food here one night. I called ahead and ordered the barbecue ribs and an order of vegetable chow fun. There was only one guy answering phones and filling orders for people doing takeout so when we got there, we had to wait a good 10 minutes while a confused patron argued with the guy since he gave her the wrong order. Finally when it was our turn, I asked for dishes and utensils and hot oil and the guy rolled his eyes at me but went and got me what I asked for. Rude! But maybe he'd had a hard day - gotta give people the benefit of the doubt in these situations, otherwise you seem like a byotch, right? Onto the food: the portions were huge and generous and pretty good. The ribs were only half covered in sauce, but I didn't mind because I'm not a fan of too much salt or sauce. My friend, however, was whining the whole time since he hadn't expected them to be so light handed with the seasoning. However, we did both agree that we were satisfied with the amount of meat on the bones. The chow fun was greasy (which is what I wanted) but lacking in vegetables. My friend and I read nothing but great recess online about this place, so we decided to dine in here. What we failed to take heed to was that these good reviews were for their take-out. Their dine-in service on the other hand is another story! Our server was so inattentive to us, yet she was constantly checking on her other tables and cleaning dirty tables. I asked her for a lemon for my water THREE TIMES! It took 20 minutes and 3 requests to get lemon for my water. I saw her carry drinks to a table that came in after us, with a LEMON wedge on that person's Coke! But I can't get a lemon with this disgusting, unfiltered tap water?!?! She proceeded to take the other two tables' orders, cleared dishes off another table, then went to get a dish rag and proceeded to wipe down another table, and still no lemon! Our food took 40 minutes, and we ordered shrimp tempura and house lo mein. My shrimp tempura is cold, and I like mine warm and freshly prepared. And it has some sauce drenched on it, which is not states in the menu, and I do not like! My friend had her food brought out to her with no eating utensils. And her drink was empty before her meal was brought out, and still no refills! I am watching our waitress now, testing on her cell phone and eating something. This is a great little restaurant. I've been going here alot for the sushi. Hands down one of the best sushi bars in town. I always get California roll, and Super roll. It is to die for. I've had better fried rice, this didn't seem very fried if that makes sense, lacked flavor. However the crab wontons were really good & fried just enough. I've had ones that were really hard. I literally tried almost everything they have to offer chicken wise and sushi wise. No complaints there. Portion sizes are decent. Of course with seafood dishes there is lacking of a ton of seafood but that's to be expected. At least to me that is. The only reason I won't give a five star review is the delivery has messed up my orders numerous times. They have forgotten things several times.
