This is my 4rd time using Master Trailers in 5yrs of using an old horse trailer for my job and there's nobody better! First was a broken weld on the leaf spring mount, 2nd time was 2 years later when they did a FULL suspension replacement at half the cost of what I was getting quotes for, and THEY came to ME!? Crazy! 3rd time I just needed help wiring some replacement taillights and he fixed it in minutes. Last time I had a broken retaining bolt for the right front leaf spring, so the axel was lose and would jackknife on itself if I backed up...he replaced it in less than an hour! He works a lot in remote areas (stranded RV's, broken trailers, etc) so he doesn't always have cell reception, but he always get back to you when he gets home! read more

I'm amazed by all the positive reviews. I saw his reputation here and went to him for brake service on my old ski boat's trailer. One of the brake lines was old and broken so I needed a full brake service done. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable so I thought I was in good hands. A few days later I paid him a lot of money and he said I was good to go: new brake lines, brake fluid, serviced the master cylinder, etc. I drove 30 minutes to the lake and called him because my wheel hubs felt very hot. He said that is normal, just wait 30 min for them to cool down and then go into the lake. One trip later (50 miles round trip) by the time I got home the hubs were so hot that my bearing buddies were lost on the freeway and grease had exploded all over my rims. My rear axle was so locked up that when I jacked up the trailer I coudn't spin the wheel! I called him up and he said he'd come take a look. I said I was done for the season anyways and as long as he'd have me back and running by April it was ok by me. Months went by. I called several times. Finally he showed up, spent about 15 minutes looking at it and decided I needed new calipers. I wasn't happy (why hadn't he checked the calipers last time?) but said ok, send me an estimate. He said he'd cut me a break on some of the labor costs since some of the work he did before would need to be repeated. Later I called with a technical question but after that he simply ghosted me. I called and texted quite a few times over the next few months and he never bothered to respond. In the end I took the trailer up to Bear Trailersports. When I told them the story, the owner said 'Yeah, we have to clean up his mess a lot'. Their mechanics did a far more thorough job and basically told me that they had to redo all of his work. The calipers did need replacement, the brake lines were rusted in multiple places and had only been partially replaced, and the master cylinder was a total lost cause. I completely wasted my money at Master Trailers and my trailer could have caused a major accident in the condition he left me in. read more

Last week was my second time using Master Trailers for an overhaul on one of my trailers. Great experience both times. On the first trailer he replaced all 4 electric brakes as one of my employees managed to fry all 4 including the electromagnets. This time he went through a used tilt bed I purchased that looked like it had hit everything but the lottery. He cut off the severely warped brake housings, re-fabricated and welded new ones on all while on site, he also replaced all of the wiring, break away brake module, welded on a new tongue jack and got all 4 brakes working. Both times, he showed up prepared with all of the parts and equipment he needed to do the job. I thought his price was reasonable, especially considering the high quality of work done. Miguel and his team showed up at my home, were nothing but professional and courteous from the start to finish of our trailer project. Miguel completely reconfigured and fabricated my 2001 Zeman PWC Trailer. I have newer Jet Skis, 3 seaters. Although the trailer is fine, I wanted to add brakes,since I can feel the alot of weight when towing. Miguel suggested disc brakes vs drum brakes, took his advice and I am glad I did. He was able to completely remove my old hitch and custom fabricate/weld a pulse Dexter actuator, changed out my 2K axle to 3.5K, added rotors, calipers, brake pads, ran brake lines, and new trailer jack further he provided extras ie, added a 7 way plug, welded one of my chains that was loose, at no additional charge. I am sure I am one of the few that have a PWC trailer with disc brakes, it looks and works AWESOME. 5 Stars isn't simply enough for this family owned company! Man let me tell you I had 2nd thoughts when this company wouldn't answer my calls or texts or return my calls after leaving voicemails! But they do say it's hard to do multiple things at the same time so it's understandable as Miguel the business owner is hands on working on the trailers! These guys are Honest install nothing but the best products and has the best prices for the work being done! He performed the complete axle service on my 12ft dump trailer and found out previous " competitor" installed knock off rotors and brake pads " hence why our braking system was always failing". Can't say anything but great things about Miguel and his team! We recommended him to my brother and he's now working on his 14ft enclosed trailer to get the axles and springs upgraded! So I was on my way to Pismo Beach with an over-loaded toy hauler with 20 year old parts. I knew I needed to service my bearings but couldn't find a shop to do it before my planned trip. Needless to say I dropped a bearing and lost a hub on the freeway. Luckily I pulled over before compleley destroying the spindle. Called all the numbers listed, no one was able to help. Camping trip canceled. But just then Miguel responded and in 20 minutes showed up to save the day. Angels, heroes, hard--- worker, and honest. Cannot say enough. This company is Amazing, I had a problem with my trailer and my battery. I looked up trailers near me and gave them a call, Miguel the owner answered right away. They're Very professional and knowledgeable to what needs to be done. Miguel had available time when I was in the area and fixed my problem right away, he also noticed that my Hitch was cracked and needed to be welding in place, it was a great idea and a safety hazard for me to drive with a heavy load. They replaced, repacked and repaired the bearings on one trailer and also re welded a broken spring hanger. Had a great experience with these guys. After texting my request for service on my old 20 foot car hauler, an appointment was made for Service and they showed up right on time. I was very impressed with their professional and courteous manner, and SUPER impressed with their tidy work van outfitted for a wide range of tasks. I had a new jack stand installed, some welding on the tongue, all the wiring replaced, new lights installed, and the wheel bearings repacked. In the end my trailer was like new. Wonderful service. We bought an old, vintage 1968 trailer, needed it check out. RV lots weren't interested, too much of a hassle. We called Master Trailers. Miguel was quick to respond, scheduled a time for the next day. I went away on a trip for three weeks in the middle of my RV renovation on an RV I just bought a month prior. As soon as it was delivered I experienced mind numbing issues with the slide out. Through YouTube videos & advice on my fave RV Facebook group I was able to fix certain issues myself & it worked when I left. When I came back it stopped completely. I called & texted EVERY mobile RV guy in LA. Not only were they one of the few that answered they were the only to not say they couldn't come because of the rain ‍ . They arrived within 2 hours to help me figure it out. Not only did they figure out I needed a new motor... they opened my slide for free & showed me how to do it after I spent almost two days Googling how to do it & searching for manuals my rig did not come with. Speaking of "mobile RV repairmen" I had one guy in San Gabriel Valley that woke up when I called him at 2 yesterday to fix it... he texted me 6 hours later to tell me it will cost me $225 for him to just LOOK at it! Bruh! I have no idea how people choose to run their business so poorly?!?! Anyhoo... I'm leaving on a 6-12 month journey in my rig & there's no freaking way I'm taking that thing out there without Master Trailers checking & repairing everything that needs to be done before I leave. Wow!! These guys really know what they are doing! Came in from NorCal with my family and was headed East when I blew a tire and realized my trailer axle was bending under the load. Called and explained the situation to Martin around 9 am. He texted me a quote an hour later. They were willing to either let me buy parts or use what they had. I chose to let them use what they had because they came to me and did the work at the location I was at. Didn't have to risk driving anywhere and they were super fast and reasonably priced. Been around welding and plenty of trailers most of my life as a GC and i could tell these guys knew what they were doing. The welds were so good as well as the way they upgraded my axle to a 3500 pound axle with 15" trailer tires. Called at 9 am and they were there by 2:30 pm after finishing other jobs.
