I had an excellent experience working with Brian at Zeus Ironworks. I met with several iron workers initially and was originally considering just reworking my existing railing bases, covering them with shoes, and painting them myself. After talking through the project with Brian, I realized that creating a whole new custom railing was a better choice. Brian worked with me to design and fabricate a completely new custom railing with a powder coated finish, and the end result exceeded my expectations. He was incredibly thorough and detail oriented, coming out multiple times to take precise measurements and test fit components to make sure everything was exactly right before final installation. It was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about the quality of the work and about getting the details perfect. His craftsmanship is top-notch and the railing completely updated the space. Brian was professional, communicative, and just a great guy to work with throughout the entire process. Our townhome suffered damage to the outside staircase when a car collision sent one car careening over the curb and into the staircase. The rod-iron railing was bent and twisted and one heavy stone step was broken. I consulted with two firms and Zeus Iron Worlks was a good deal less in cost so I went with them. When the stone step that had been ordered came in, Brian was immediately at the work site installing the step and taking measurements for replacement of the rail. He fabricated the new railing at his shop and returned the next day to install it, which he did expertly. The young man has a strong, professional work ethic... and the price was right. Luis is just the best. On time, great work at a fair price. We needed a large side gate, I showed him a photo of what I liked and he created just that! He does fantastic work and the paint job was superb. He delivered and installed in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier. I can't say enough about how impressed I am about everything to do with Luis and Zeus Iron Works! I reached out via text on Tuesday, Luis immediately responded and came to our house the same day. We needed iron railing for our outside entry steps. He was very respectful, professional, took pictures, measured, and immediately sent me a very reasonable estimate. I retuned the agreement by the end of the day on Wednesday. Friday morning he asked if he could come come check his fame to make sure that everything was level and already it looked great! We just had the 4th of July weekend, and first thing Monday morning Luis texted me to let me know that it was completed and ready to be installed! I said great, we are home! This was a very small job. Found this outfit while reading another Yelp review bc another company quoted the yelper a ridiculous amount for the job. I had first gone to the other outfit bc another review said the other outfit was "reasonable ". The other outfit's quote plus paint was ridiculously absurd. So I called Zeus. Quite reasonable, did a nice job and DIDN'T charge an additional $300 to paint a 3 foot, 34 inch tall, 2 post stair rail.
