I had a very small job removing a section of wrought iron railing to gain access to a new patio area. I thought I would have a hard time finding someone to do it. Frank took my call and said no problem. Communication was great. Oscar came out promptly at the scheduled time and did a fantastic job cleanly cutting and recontouring where the railing section was removed so that it looks like it was originally built that way. When he noted that the remaining section was a little wobbly he welded on a strap to match the other straps along the railing tying it to the structure for a small additional charge. The work was done efficiently and looks really top notch. I will be recommending this company. read more

I am an architect so I can judge more technical Roberto's work He did a lot of things to my house for a day of work: fix a gate, complete a frame for the Granite top at BBQ area, many rusted things to be replaced, posts on a gate, new plates for posts, add dozens of missing spikes on the fence, little tings which added up to a full day for 3 people. What I like from the start was that he said that if i don't like something he will do it until i will be happy, and so it was. If i could give Franki and his team ten stars I would. I never thought I could be in love with a fence but alas I am. We had 100 feet of fence put in to replace a very old and dangerous one and he added a few feet to a wood fence we already had (mostly because we hate our neighbors and now I never have to see them ever again!) LOOK NO FURTHER... ROBERTO'S WROUGHT IRON (& the owner, Frank) is seriously the real deal. We found ourselves wishing he handled more than just wrought iron work, because it's rare that you find a contractor as honest, intelligent, engaged (throughout the project!), well-spoken, and responsive to a client's needs and wants. We must've EASILY contacted 20 companies (that all had an average 4+ stars on Yelp! and advertised themselves as doing all kinds of wrought iron work). I would email / text / call with detailed photos of the heavy decorative iron balcony that had fallen off & needed re-hung with additional support. Some of them didn't even acknowledge my correspondence, and some declined after coming out to see it. The few that were willing either gave extremely inflated estimates, or the opposite -- low-cost, but with NO understanding or communication regarding how they'd complete work (and gave us very little confidence that they truly knew anything about supports, aesthetics, or even how exactly to get this large & heavy balcony back in place (on a 2nd story). I was seriously willing to look as long as it took to find someone we felt confident would do this right (the first time), be creative and clear in their approach, and take pride in his work. Enter Frank from ROBERTO'S WROUGHT IRON. I kid you not when I say Frank was the last contractor (after a 3 month search!) that I had to call. On-time, responsive (texts better than email), smart & polite. Even the team he brought (and closely supervised in order to accomplish this in one afternoon) were all professional, respectful and good at their work. The supports they repaired and added look great, and utmost care was taken to protect the surrounding plants & property. I have a broken ankle, so I needed someone to come install handrails on my two sets of stairs to help me get up and down. I had called on a Thursday and was told they would be by on Monday, and told me to text them my address. Monday rolled around, and I hadn't heard from him, so I texted at noon to see what time he would be here. No reply. At 3 I called, and he let me know he would be there at 3:45. He never showed up, and never called or texted that he wouldn't be showing up, nor did he follow up the next day. I'm not sure if he came by and saw my stairs weren't grand enough to be worth his time or if he generally didn't want the work, but at least CALL and let me know that! Really disappointed. read more
