I'm not sure where to begin, so I'll start at the beginning. We are grateful to Yelp reviewers for taking the time to assist others in finding a great company that works with metal.It led us here. Being the mom of a soon to be Eagle Scout who has a vision that includes two stainless steel metal boxes that need to be completed within the week, we needed to find the right person to do the job. Mark is exceptional. This wasn't the biggest job, but in the eyes of my son, it's the most important job on the planet. Mark made it his personal endeavor to be sure it was done right and on time. We had time constraints, as my son had planned on installing two hiker sign-in boxes on Saturday morning, with the city developer meeting him for approval. My heart sank when Mark let me know at closing time that he would not be able to finish before closing. I'm not sure if it was the sound of my disappointment or the choked up feeling I got, but he ended up agreeing to stay late until the boxes were finished, and could be picked up first thing on Saturday morning. This deserves far more than 5 stars, as the customer service at that point was superb. I had no idea what these boxes would look like, but based off a rough sketch that my son drew, Mark designed to amazing and sturdy boxes that will withstand all elements of weather. They are built with expertise, and are appealing to the eye. Our family has not enough words to thank Mark and his crew for taking a job which wasn't the most lucrative and turn it into a job equally as important as his high end deals. Thank you Mark for your superb service, and if you are ever in the area of Sierra Madre, you should check out the trailheads of Bailey Canyon and Mount Wilson Trail.... your boxes are anchored into the soil with pride. Many of them are modded builds that require high level of detail and sometimes customs pieces to get the look that I want and need. Don't use this company if you need something on time because you won't get it, I ordered a 20' gutter with Mark over a week ago for a job and got there this morning and the guy looked at me and said oh know I FORGOT!!!!!!!! Mark maybe you should've wrote my order down instead of trying to be superman and remember it, now look at you, getting this company a 1 star rating! They used to be on Jefferson and I'm not a frequent customer at all, but over the years I pop in for the occasional 5 or 10 minute cut or bend and these guys are super accommodating, and I've felt that both workers and owner will charge be a fair price. I needed to replicate an aluminum door jamb for the trailer I'm restoring. I showed up on a monday afternoon and Mark was able to show me some metal samples, explain the whole process to me and gave me a quote. By Wednesday morning the two pieces of metal were finished and ready for pick up! I've never had a custom metal part made before and I was expecting it to be quite expensive but instead it was totally affordable. Very good, very fair, very fast and very nice. Mark has now helped me twice. The first time he fabricated pieces to fit over the bottom of our windows so my husband could install window air conditioners on top of a flat surface. We were so happy with his help that when we ran into another obstacle trying to install a metal range hood chimney and metal moulding into a COVED ceiling, I knew who to call. I brought Mark 3 metal pieces to cut to the same curve as templates I formed to fit the cove. He had them ready the same afternoon and did a fantastic job.
