After spending many frustrating hours in my garage trying to install trailer brakes myself, I…read morefinally decided to call a professional. It was the best decision I could have made. I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend them for any trailer brake installation or trailer repair. I'm extremely happy with the quality of their work. Thank you!

I hadn't done it before, so I asked if I could hang out, watch and learn so I at least know what's going on inside there. There's a reason their reviews are great, this is who you want to take care of your vehicles.

Alright.. nearly two years ago friend of ours with an airstream recommended Bear Trailersports to…read morefix some major towing components of our gutted airstream... So... we had our axles, electrical, brakes, hitch, etc replaced... Or so we thought. They gave up on subfloor as it just needed too much work (also that plywood was way too thin) We knew it needed more fixes and Vic explained that to us. However.. flash forward ... We had a reputable company redo everything... fix it to where we never have to be plugged in.... and they commented that while they did "rebuild" not replace axles, they left the shock absorbers (rusted and 60 years old) in... Also, the torque is way off... 2 years ago...the axles that were rebuilt were taken a part.... It takes maybe an hour to do the shocks... Not sure why that was done that way... And it is costing us way more to fix now.... So... 3 stars because we got what we paid for. Minus 2 stars because of above mentioned work. Had we known, we'd be okay with it... It's just one of those things you don't notice until you are towing and wondering why trailer is bouncing more than it should, because ... We paid for new axles and never asked the chassis company to inspect it until now.... Most people would lose their minds and file a complaint with the BAR. I'm just going to assume that Vic is a super nice guy and some employee thought the old shocks were good enough to use since the trailer was empty... I hope in the future they plan for these things. It's just disappointing.

The price came in lower than we expected which never happens these days. Also to our surprise he made a few adjustments / additions to the trailer that we didn't think to ask for but totally blew us away. Example: our pins on the trailer gate were just free/loose so when we removed the pins we were always fumbling to find a place to put them. He added a metal chain to them (photo attached) so now they'll stay attached to the trailer. It was just a pleasant and thoughtful surprise when we picked it up. He just knew from his history with trailers what would make our lives easier/better.

George and Hayk came to my boat, assessed what needed to be done and gave me a quote. They completely rewired my boat and tuned up my Merc 150. They went above and beyond what I had asked of them and rewired several components on the boat that I didn't even ask them too and also fixed a small fuel leak they stumbled across. When he told me about all of the extra things they fixed I was thinking... "Okay now they're going to hit me for more money on work I didn't even authorize." Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The repair was clean and professional. Power was restored and my entire weekend was back on track. What could have been a ruined trip turned into a great one. He did not stop there. He worked through the warranty process and made sure the repair was covered. I ended up fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. That saved me money and a lot of hassle. Nick goes above and beyond.
