I called Filiberto on Friday, January 2nd. It was raining that day. Despite it being the "holiday…read moreweek" and it being a rainy Friday, and the fact that my RV issue was not an emergency, not only did Filberto come to my location in North Hollywood, he fixed the issue quickly. I had spoken to a few others. Either their listing said they serviced NoHo, but didn't, they could not come out until the following week, or their quote was very high. Filberto could easily have taken me for a ride, by saying the repair was what I had thought it was and replaced a valve that I thought we had broken. I also asked him about a number of things I had questions about, as I have one owned the RV for a few months and I still trying to learn all the things I have to learn about running and taking care of an RV....which is A LOT for a middle-aged women who lacks any mechanical knowledge. It's SO nice for me to know I have found a respectable, experienced (he's been doing RV repairs since the 1980s!), affordable and honest RV repairman. I take care of my things, and I have plans to use the RV more in the future -- so I'm thrilled that I found Filiberto. Anyhow, I can't say enough good things about him -- and for the record, I wrote this review. No ChatGPT here. I didn't even run my review though ChatGPT. Don't let the em dash fool you. That's just what us folks who were educated long ago learned in school, back when they taught grammar!

Much friendlier and professional. I really recommend this place. The reason it takes a while sometimes is getting the parts. But, they got it done. This place is very reputable. Use them. We purchased a used RV, first time owners, and came here for service on our 2022 Forester 2401 MBS…read more We did a lot at this first visit: 6 new tires, adjusted Slideout, reinforced the ladder, added another solar panel and new controller, resealed the roof, and a lot of miscellaneous items. We also spent a lot on this initial service, but we felt very satisfied with the quality of work done and overall value. Jeff and his team know what they are doing, and they do a very professional job. He gives good advice on what is and is not a good idea to fix/alter, and he is very customer oriented, making sure things are clean and working as they should, and even threw in complimentary items during the service like a replacement cover for our awning arm he happened to have, moving my fridge to gain a storage space for my long pans, adjusting my shaky rear view mirror, etc. The quality of the work here is great, everything works well and I like that he did some more service items that were really needed (!) like flush my hot water tank- it was so full of white scale! He also works with the insurance companies to fix things that are under warranty and makes it happen in a reasonable amount of time, as much as he can control. We were looking for a good RV service provider for our "new" RV since we plan to keep it for a long time. We definitely have found that service partner here in Jeff's group. They are so knowledgeable and experienced, and he is so reasonable and easy to work with. We highly recommend this business and will definitely use it in the future. Note: If you have to wait for an appointment, it's worth it. The business is popular for a reason, and it's not like other places you hear about where they keep your rig for months and leave you hanging. If they are waiting for a part, they call you when it comes in and take care of you when you bring your RV back in.

I do not even know where to begin.. Colin (& Julia) are just simply amazing! They really saw our…read morevision of what 24 ft of living space could really be... He transformed a failed DIY attempt/ neglected nearly 60 year old airstream into what our children call the "first class" off grid camping experience that can comfortably sleep 6 with the pet... He put the materials to test to make sure it can withstand our crew (note we have boys & a high energy terrier) ... the dinette fits us all & transforms to a king size bed at night... This rig has turned out to be an oasis that we all just want to be in all the time. Colin is a master mind.. we found him on a decade old airstream forum that someone said he really knows his stuff & Julia does all of the coordinating... She deserves a shout out as well! Colin noticed everything from rusted out chassis to making sure that our windows could be blacked out as we have a very light sleeper in our family. Colin was even was willing to help us out with diagnosing issues that had nothing to do with his work on the trailer! He redid EVERYTHING from frame to solar panels...Even hand welded the rivets...note this takes a substantial amount of time to do.. so this project took nearly 2 years to complete & we knew what we were getting into with the cost for a project of this size... So many quotes that we got were half the amount of detail and they really seemed like they were going to rush it/ charge a small fortune pointlessly with a lot of unknowns that left us feeling uneasy about it ... We didn't want something like that, so we kept looking and looking until we found the right person for the job. You cannot find a better & more qualified person for your airstream. With that... any person who knows airsteams, knows that we airstream people are very particular about the detail put into our curved walls, especially those that are vintage... They just don't make them like they used to. We are so happy with the renovation result and we highly recommend them for your complex job! If you want it accurately restored to the era, they can definitely get it done :) If you are like we are and value the time & thoughtfulness put into a job well done, these are by far the people for you. We will be back when the kids grow for the remodel to fit our retired life needs (assuming Colin is still up for another challenge at that time) They are truly gems!

A few Considerations before you email him based on my experience. 1) You get what you pay for. Colin is not cheap but to be honest with the level and quality of his work he could be charging even more. He was great when walking me through what was needed for safety and items of repair that could wait a season or two if you're on a tighter budget. No pressure to upsell and made the whole process easy. 2) Keyword is "Retro" - If you have a repair for a never RV/van I would highly recommend you look elsewhere as Colin specializes in Retro/VINTAGE RV's. I'm sure he can repair the newer ones but he shines with anything pre- 1990's. 3) Use email - Colin works most of the time from mobile or in his shop and is hard to reach on the phone. Use his email to give him as much detail as possible on your repair. This helped me as I was able to see the breakdown of what was needed and I was able to keep them for my records on future repairs. Thank you Colin for all the work you have done to the Tiger, can't wait to start the next phase of restorations with you!
