Very disappointing. The salsa bar was okay but the mild salsa was weak. The meat wasn't seasoned and very bland.

First time in, found them on Yelp. Food was amazing. Had Combo #3, 2 hard tacos and beans/rice. Tacos were big, very tasty fried shells. The frijoles were very good, as good as any you'll find in Tucson. Employees very friendly, great service. Definitely will be back! read more

Been a while since I had been back to Master Taco. They have breakfast all day and I wanted to try something different. Went for the breakfast-for-lunch route. The Breakfast Burrito was calling my name. It has eggs, beans, ham and cheese, and sour cream (which I skipped). The burrito is massive which I have previously mentioned. My only problem is that the burrito tasted very good but it falls apart mid-way through. Needs to be cut in half or folded tighter. Huge menu to try something different next time. read more

Clean place provides hand sanitizer. The food tastes good. Nothing really sticks out but satisfying for the hubby and his 3 x P.I.C. after a ride in the desert. Saw the great Yelp reviews and was nearby, so I stopped in atMaster Taco today for lunch. I ordered a #12, Carne Asada burro and 3 rolled tacos. Lunch special added a drink. The food came out hot and delicious. The salsa bar has a great variety of excellent Sauces. I'm very content right now, couldn't eat another bite! I happily recommend Master Taco, and hope to come try their breakfast burritos soon! By the way, about half the customers are Spanish speaking, most are workmen on their lunch break. They all look very satisfied as well, a great indicator of good Mexican food. read more

Like other comments say, totally inconsistent. I've gotten chipotle burritos 3 times with no chipotle at all on them. When it's made right, they're awesome. Every time it's missing chipotle sauce, the eggs are also crazy burnt. The owner should talk to the cooks here about consistency. If I pay for something, and they have my phone number from an online order, why not pick up the phone and call me if you're out of chipotle sauce? Or maybe it really is that one of their chefs just sucks and makes it wrong every single time. I don't know. read more

I had originally ordered through the yelp app as I was coming into work in Sun City West. The email said it will be about 10-30min for pick up. I had arrived to Master Taco 20mins after that, and do note that I had place my order at 7:15am and this location opens at 7am. I told the lady at the front who had no other customer, that I'm here to pick up my order and she said that it's not ready. I waited another good 10min while they barely started making it and I was now late for work. I'm giving this a 3 star just because the food was great but the service was horrendous. read more

I have come here monthly for about a year. I always get good service a good food. Last couple of times the food hasn't been the same. I order the fish taco abd crispy chicken taco often. Seems they changed the hard taco shell. It's has zero flavor. The chicken is good but I'm guessing a recipe change. The chicken was really awesome before the change. When the right cook is cooking it definitely deserves 5 stars but it's very inconsistent. I feel like during the day I get the inconsistency with meats and nights are the best times to get food but it could just be me. Overall the desserts are all great and when the cook I'm speaking of is working, Master Taco is really great and I enjoy it. When the other cook is working.. not so sure I can give it more than a 3 unfortunately. After taking a bite I can already tell by the look of the meat if it's gonna be good or not. Ordered food from here twice and it tasted great, however the third time was old stale steak and we never ordered from their again!! You gotta be consistent with your quality or we will never return. I will start with the negative, service was extremely slow, got orders mixed up between a few customers and took too long for a take-out order. For food got carne asada soft tacos and enchiladas; the cheese enchiladas were awful (Master Taco change your enchilada sauce recipe), carne asada soft tacos were outstanding had great flavor with pico, guacamole on a soft corn shell (they were big). Ordered the Arizona Surfing highly recommend!!!! It was HUGE, like you need a third hand to handle this. I truly was not expecting it to be that delicious. The seating area was very generic and packed. They could probably expand their space since it is always busy. Or maybe outside seating as well? During the dinner rush they had one cashier who was also expoing the food so the line would suffer or people's food would be sitting in the window getting cold.
