David was exceptionally responsive from the start, including answering emails in the evening, and gave us the most competitive price of the three quotes we received. Our new roof was installed just a week after my initial contact with All Ply and looks great.

Even more amazing, in the windstorm last weekend (Oct 2025), we lost a small section of the shingles. We were shocked and pleased that Brian had a crew on site the next day and fixed it in no time! Where do I start? I hired Shay to clean and treat my roof. He originally gave me a competitive…read moreprice. then he said he needed to come back and do a bit more and do a bit of sealing. He then surprised me with wanting another few hundred dollars which was NOT discussed. He gave me an estimate for repairs and it was not the lowest but was doable. That was end of April. I paid half down beginning of May with the promise that supplies were purchased and I was on the schedule. 8 weeks later he finally shows up for ONE day. He announced the next day my whole roof was rotted and needed to be replaced. His words..."shit roof". He discussed for an extra $3000 he could do more extensive repairs in lieu of replacement. I asked for a written estimate. the estimate came in an extra $9k. this was over the last long July 4th weekend. I "disapproved" the change order. I texted this, sent two emails and finally when I asked about getting it completed prior to rain on Wednesday, he said :"It'll be no problem for us". I added that I wanted to ensure he does NOT buy supplies as I said NO to the extensive work he wanted to do. They show up on Monday, late again. I called Shay again to ensure he knew I did NOT approve the extra work. he then proceeded to curse me out, that the supplies were already purchased and the work already started. I said that makes no difference as I never approved any of it. The cursing continued. BTW-the ridge vent had only just then was being pulled up about two feet before I stopped them. he then demanded more money to put things back together or he would make his guys leave my roof open and exposed. he finally hung up on me when i did not give in. he called back and I agreed to pay him all but the last $2k just to get this closed prior to raining. I called the office, Chepe was very nice and took my card number. After the roof was done that day my plan was to pay the rest by cashiers check. when I checked my account I found that the last payment had already been processed by 1st Choice...without my authorization. From the other reviews, this seems to be his tactic. How he is still in business is beyond me. Although this is a long review please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! The employees are wonderful but Shay is unprofessional and borderline abusive when his tactics fail to get him more money than the original estimate! Jeanette Eyler

As an aside, I have been battling roof rats (at considerable expense) for the 7 years I've owned my home. My pest control guy suggested that the only permanent fix was to replace the gutters and apply sheet metal to the gap between gutter and roof. Fritz said this was no problem at all for him to do which saved me having to coordinate this job between multiple shops.

Absolutely horrible follow through and lack of communication from this company…read more I had reached out for a roofing repair quote and scheduled a time to meet with Edvin. The initial time suggested wouldn't work for me so Edvin stated he would be on site 30 mins earlier. 10:30 AM arrives. No-show from Edvin. No communication, no update, no notice. 8 mins past our agreed upon meeting time, I had to be the one to initiate finding out what happened. Shouldn't the business be the one letting me know if they couldn't make the time BEFORE the agreed upon time? After finding out Edvin couldn't meet that day, he said he could be there the following day at 11AM. Again, another no-show from this company. No communication, no update, no notice. Even after giving them the benefit of the doubt asking if we were still meeting 7 mins AFTER the agreed time, Edvin chose to read the message and remained silent. I thought it was a small job and paid deposit right away. They said they could start Monday Dec 5. Then Dec 9 Edvin said the metals have been delayed for a week due to the holidays. Dec 29 I asked when they would start. They scheduled then canceled on me Jan 14, 26, 30, then Feb 8, and said it was due to inclement weather. Then they handed me off to Sam and said there was confusion and language barrier. Then Feb 25 they said they were waiting on metals again but they did start pulling off the damaged roof. Then I contacted them Mar 1, 3 and no answer. Then Mar 4, 6, 11, 17, 18, 19, 24, 29 it was either sporadic or no communication until I threatened bad reviews. Apr 1 they replaced the new metal roof section. It was not the matching striation of the original panels but I didn't make them change it. I inspected the work and I asked them to cover a small soffit area with metal to protect it and make it look uniform. Also they needed to clean up their scraps. Apr 20 they still had not come back. May 21 they asked for final payment. I reminded them they needed to do the touchups and clean up again. May 25 they finally completed the work and I submitted final payment.
