it was my first time getting acrylics and i came here because some of my friends had recommended me to come get my acrylics done here. i was hesitant due to the reviews but i went anyway. the lady i had was decent but it looked like amy (i think that's her name) really took her time with the girl that was next to me and didn't want to have a customer leave unsatisfied. i believe a full set is around $25 but i was charged $40 for shellac i think and the lady charged me an extra $5 for the length. i told her i wanted it short and she told me it'd be extra and i was ok with it but she made them so long i can't do anything so i have no choice but to wait for my nails to grow out and get them re done somewhere else. the lady who did my friends nails did a way better job. read more

I have have my Shellac fills done by many other salons in the past but the first time Jenny did my nails, I knew that it was the best fill I've ever had. Today I went in for a new acrylic set and was extremely satisfied with my service. There was a horrible woman being very disrespectful to one of the technicians and I told the lady to stop being so rude or leave (in other words). Very disappointing. Asked for a shellac manicure but hardly received a manicure at all. No exfoliation, no hot towel, no cuticle oil. My hands were left feeling quite dry. I came in to get shellac on my hands the beginning of last month and WOW! My nails lasted for great 3.5 weeks. I've been seeing Hong for my manicure and Amy for my pedicure. Got my pedicure on the 2nd weeks of September. The treatment was very relaxing as I remembered and my toe nails lasted for about 2 months. I don't even know how they have 4 stars. If you go there you pay to be mistreated by those rude ladies. From all of them there are just 3 ladies you can work and be very happy but the rest are rude and unprofessional. I have been going there for more than a year and on my last visit I realize that is not worth it. I just came back here recently after it changed names again and was curious to see if the service has changed at all and I was pleasantly surprised that the service has gotten even better. I got a pedicure for my boyfriend and I and they were very prompt at getting us in and in a chair. Both the ladies who worked on us were very nice and through. First time here, and I was very pleased. I got the basic pedicure, and it was incredibly relaxing, and very competitively priced. They don't skimp on anything, the foot and calf massage was the best I've ever had with a pedicure. Staff was very nice, the owner brings everyone bottled water. The massage chairs were excellent. Horrible. I mean I should say the place is clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Possibly inexperienced. Went for a fill on acrylic set, very sloppy, not filed straight, fill uneven, left a big hump in my nails. Then was talked into a gel top coat, it looked pretty but made them very thick and the next day the thumb chipped on my steering wheel. By day three they looked like hell, dull, chipped and peeling, my cuticles are dry and cracked even. I had called and was told to come by they would fix it. I went in to my salon and was told that I had to have a whole new set because the gel ruined the acrylic. Suggested I get my money back. OK sounds easy enough. Nope no refunds but they did agree it was a mistake. They did offer to take the $35 I had spent for the fill, paint and gel and put it towards a new set. Really are you kidding me, its their fault, they screwed up, but I have to pay for it, thank god I didn't have my eyebrows waxed. read more

My nails experience was normal at the salon, a shellac manicure. It was quick and comfortable. However it's two days later, and my nails are chipping and there's massive discoloration on my nails. I haven't used any cleaning products or harsh chemicals to mess with the nail polish, but is more likely from low quality polish or polish that has been compromised by acetone. I'm not at all happy with basically wasting my money here. read more

I come to this salon for the past 3 years for mani/pedi. This time I decided to try the SNS dip manicure. My usual manicurist wasn't available so I sat down with another. The powder manicure cost $30 and the lady persuaded me to get ombre which is extra $10. Then she took out the nail drill instrument and to my horror started taking off the layers of my natural nail. When I tried to stop her, she said that the powder manicure required rough nail to adhere better. When asked about cuticle cutting she said that is extra $5 and that once she applies the powder, then she will manicure my nails. She continued with applying two colors and even to my inexperienced eye I saw that she was doing a horrible job. My nails at that point were aching and burning from the filing job. She completed 4 nails and told me that two of them she had to redo as they came out bad. At this point I was sitting in he chair for 40 minutes and was loosing my patience. I saw how horrible the powder was applied and asked her to take it off as I didn't have time to indulge in this lengthy process. The owner Amy came over and tried to make it better by saying that she will redo the nails, but from my experience Amy is the worst out of all manicurists in that place. I had to get out of there so I told them I don't have time and that this is unacceptable. They made me pay $10 for what I have to idea. Ruining my very strong natural nails was unacceptable. It's been 2 weeks and my nails are still sore to the touch. Never coming back to this place. Please beware if you are looking to get SNS none of the girls know how to apply it properly. read more

Meh. Spending $70 on nails should result in better than meh feelings. Completely overcharged us!! Went in to get a pedicure and shellac manicure while my 9yr old got her fingers and toes painted. Their price list mani/pedi is $33 yet they charged me separately $23 for the pedi and $23 for the shellac. I understand shellac can be more but most places only charge $5 more then the mani/pedi combo price. They charged us $24 for my daughter's nail painting... NOT kids mani NOT a kids pedi, literally all it was was painting and a flower. When I called today to ask how much kids were, I was told $5/hands and $7/feet plus $3/ea for the flower. Hers should have been $18 not $24. They made the 20% anniversary discount sound like a deal but in all honesty all they did was charge us 20% more then deduct it like it was a discount. I didn't make a stink about it last night because it was a special time for me and my daughter but I will NEVER go there again. Ripping off customers is not a way to run a business. For what it's worth the flower looked pretty and my shellac, minus the silver strip that looks like crap, is decent. read more

I am a regular at this nail salon, going every two weeks for my fill and shellac. But not anymore. I went in a couple days ago after calling ahead and scheduling an appointment, which I always do, and the gal started to work on me. Another lady walks in and wanted to be with the gal doing my nails, so she asks me if I can have a different girl do mine. Ummmm I guess? (Unprofessional...) Well this girl was definitely new. She cut me several times and was filing my skin. She applied the acrylic very thick and all over my skin. And same with the shellac. It took her TWO hours to finish. The first girl who started me had completed two different people in the time it took this girl finish my nails. They looked so awful by the time I was done that the girl at the front asked if I could come back to have them fix it. I don't even want to go back to have them fix it because 2 days later my fingers are sooo swollen and throbbing. Will not be returning. read more
