Synthetic oil change cost $122.00 including tax. There wasn't one other inspection done. No filters, no sir pressure, headlights, tail lights, absolutely nothing. Hope they actually greased & put the correct oil in my car. I won't go there again. No thanks. read more

I went in to have my headlight replaced, they had to go though the wheel well to get at it. They had it done in less than 15min. and only charged me for the new bulb....I tipped them for their time. I think they have changed ownership from years ago and are not as bad as I have seen the other reviews. Thanks guys. PS I am from Appleton not CA like it says. read more

So, I brought a car to Master Lube on Van Roy rd and learned a hard lesson to the tune of 1600 dollars. Supposedly they check your front and rear differential when you go in. Well within 6000 miles of having my vehicle there my front differential went bye bye. The mechanic who repaired it (40 years experience) said it was bone dry with no indication of leaking. When I went back to master lube to find out if it was possible something could happened on their end all the employee said is "well it was over a year and a half ago since it was in" True! It's my third car, it hardly gets driven hence the 6000 miles in 20 months. I have heard other stories about this place and that answers my question of why the place does so little business with such a high volume of traffic passing by almost continuously day and night. If I could give them zero stars I would. AVOID THIS PLACE. My boyfriend brought my car in for an oil change...pretty simple you'd think? Nope. Instead of draining my oil they drained all of my transmission fluid and the added additional oil to my car, severely over filling it. When my boyfriend drove away the engine seized up and my car stalled in the traffic circle in front of their building where he (and my young daughter) were almost struck by oncoming traffic. When they limped it back to their shop they tried telling him they could use an oil filter in place of the transmission filter that they removed. After trying to explain that it's not supposed to be done that way he let them put the incorrect part in and informed them we would be contacting the dealership in the morning to get the correct part and that they needed to put it in. So after 2 or so hours of dealing with this we spent an additional hour the following day tracking down the correct part and bringing my car back AGAIN to have them correct their mistake. When I contacted management they said they would not be giving me a refund and I would just get a discount the next time I brought the vehicle in. I informed them that I would never allow them to touch my car again. So I'm out $80 for this "budget" oil change, plus 3 hours of our time, I get to worry that my car that I bought less than 6 months ago is going to have engine AND/OR transmission issues due to the engine seizing up and worst thing of all they ENDANGERED THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY because of their incompetence. It's not worth it. By the time they add all of their fees and upcharges and waste your time trying to sell you subpar products and services you don't need you really aren't saving any money. I personally will just be bringing my vehicle to the dealership from now on...it ends up costing the same in the end and I'm sure they have a staff that can tell the difference between oil and transmission fluid. Seriously I'm am so disgusted. They are THE WORST! read more
