If anyone can name me a place that charges $10 for a hair cut that provides the service and politeness they desire, I will eat my words, but until then, Cherry can be as "rude" to me as she wants. Her hair cuts are fast, look great, and wholly worth the wait. If you're looking for great service, you might be able to find it elsewhere, but you certainly are going to be paying through the teeth for it. If you ask me, I would take $10 for some attitude ANY DAY over $50 for polite service. 5 stars.

I booked here based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn't match the rating…read more I should have researched the location more beforehand, because the salon felt much more like a budget chain experience despite the premium pricing. When booking online, I selected "long hair" at the listed $65 price. Thankfully I confirmed the pricing upon arrival, because later during the appointment I was told my hair was "longer than long" and would actually cost $75. That felt frustrating and unclear. The haircut itself also didn't feel worth the price. The stylist didn't seem particularly confident, and overall the service lacked the attention and professionalism I would expect at this price point. I also wasn't greeted when I arrived, wasn't offered a place to put my belongings, and after my wash I was left walking back dripping wet without much assistance. The stylist who did my hair also came across as very cold and rude throughout the appointment, even though I tried to be friendly and kind. That said, there was another woman working there who seemed genuinely warm and welcoming to other customers, so maybe I was just unlucky with who I was paired with. At the end, my hair was straightened without really asking whether that was how I wanted it styled. When I asked about curling it instead, I was told the straightening counted as the one complimentary style. They eventually offered to curl it anyway, but only after I explained I hadn't wanted it straightened in the first place. Overall, this felt more comparable to a basic chain salon experience while charging significantly more. As someone with long women's hair, I personally wouldn't return or recommend it based on my experience.

I have long layers and in the morning I just wash and blow dry for a couple minutes. Nothing too fancy. But, Kelli did a great job and the value can't be beat--$25 for a women's haircut before tax and tip. I've paid well over twice as much for that at other places and there was no discernible difference with the end result. I was hesitant to try the place out since most of the reviews were from men, but Kelli can do a solid women's cut as well. You can make appointments online, which was easy to do.

I wanted so much to love this salon. It is near my home and it looked so chic and welcoming. I'm…read morenot completely upset with my experience there, but sadly, I will not be going back. To start, they do not post their hours anywhere because they prefer to have scheduled appointments only and deter walk-ins. This didn't bother me, but it took a few tries of walking by and peeking in before I was able to catch them while they were open and get a consult. I asked for a price quote for a balayage hair color for my short-to-medium-length hair. I was quoted $200. That is my entire annual hair budget (and then some) but I went for it. During my appointment, I showed the stylist, who scheduled my appointment and did the consult, the video of the balayage color that I wanted to try and achieve. I know that stylists are not wizards and I did not expect it to be perfect. I stayed engaged during the entire process and made it very clear that I didn't want the color to go all the way to the root (because I'm not good at keeping up with it and didn't want hard lines as the hair grew out). The color I asked for had a combination of my naturally dark hair with gradually lighter coloring toward the front. What I received was not even relatively close to the video I showed the stylist. I ended up with completely dark hair with two 1-inch golden blond streaks in the front and a few oddly placed, stringy blond streaks scattered throughout the rest of my hair. All of the color went all the way up to my root, so it will grow out with hard lines. She did a great job with the cut, I was a bit hesitant with the color while I was still in the chair, so both the stylist and I agreed that I would reach out in a few days to let her know how I was feeling and if I wanted any changes made, which I really appreciated. By that evening I had firmly decided that the color was not working for me and I wanted it changed as soon as possible. Since then (approximately 4 weeks), I have reached out to the salon three separate times and have never received a call back. I haven't been able to catch the salon when it's open to walk in and ask for help getting the color fixed. I haven't completely given up on getting ahold of someone but I'm not optimistic. I also am not in a position to pay to get it fixed by them or anyone else. Others may have had absolutely great experiences, which is wonderful, but unfortunately I did not.

It was the weirdest haircut I've ever had- the stylist was clearly very inexperienced and just combed my straight hair down and cut it straight across. I have had 4 hair cuts by a great stylist at a salon in Edmonds since then, and it's still not quite fixed. There is still a section of hair that is way shorter than the rest which continues to prevent me from getting the cut I actually want.
