Not happy with my services and repair. Paid a large amount in what I believed would have been to get the job done right. I have a huge step I have to take now to get over the threshold that I believe was done incorrectly due to the wrong door being installed. Was told the threshold was not to be stepped on after it was bouncy. I told them I didn't wanna go with them due to the contract stating they are not responsible for any alarm damage , I was ensured no alarm would be damaged but of course it was and I had to order parts to fix it before they completed the work. No one called after the work to ask if I was satisfied with the project and was told to place yellow tape at my threshold due to hit being a trip hazard. read more

Initial meeting in home with Lorren Stiles. Absolutely kind, patient man. No pressure whatsoever to buy. Had another company come in where the salesman had alcohol on his breath. His price for 1 door was a small amount less than Lorren's price for 2 doors. Mike the owner came out for the final measurements. So dedicated to his business and explained all aspects of it.The quality of these doors is very nice. The crew that came out went way above and beyond to keep things neat and tidy during the 2 day process. Carlos, Ray, and Raul are true craftsman. The stucco needed to be matched to the existing and I couldn't be happier. I am letting the stucco cure well before I paint. We signed contracts with Master Craftsmen and gave them a 50% deposit on 5/28/24, for a $13,000 front door. The door was supposed to have a six week lead time. As of 9/3/24 we had not heard a word from them since we gave them the 50% deposit. So I sent an email checking on status. As of 9/9/24 I had still not heard from them and sent a follow up email. Finally, on 9/18/24 the door was installed. They had the wrong handle and the wrong interior trim. They promised to expedite getting the wrong/missing parts. On 11/5/24 the correct parts were finally installed and the job completed. No apologies from the owner, no discount offered, no gift basket, nothing to make up for all the hassle. I have a $125,000 quote from them to do all the doors and windows in our house. I decided to do just the front door to see how they operated. I am so glad I did. I cannot imagine what a nightmare it would have been had I gone ahead with the full house. read more

Big mistake! They didn't match my existing windows and installed a window frame that looks ornate and nothing like we wanted. Window had to be replaced 3 times because it was scratched or damaged. They did a terrible job matching the inside texture of my wall and exterior stucco. I would not recommend them. read more

Highly quality widow albeit at a premium price. My grip with this company is their shoddy and unethical workmanship. I will post pictures of what they did to my interior walls with a free swinging hammer. They also did stucco damage too but I have already repaired that damage. My office desk has damage to the finish where they spilled something on it. Standing on my desk wasnt very cool either. If this damage wasnt bad enough the real kicker was none of this damage was brought to my attention when it happened or before they left. I guess they hoped I wouldnt notice. After the fact a manager did offered me a solution by giving me a discount on future windows if I spent another $9800. Thanks but no thanks!!! read more

I needed to have my front entry door replaced and went with MC. Their work is fantastic. The installers Rey, Ishmael and Alex are very professional and do a great job. They put up plastic screens to protect the rest of the house from their work, were very skillful (especially Rey and his stucco work) and cleaned up upon completion. The product is great, I went with a Therma Tru Smooth-Star fiberglass door. I even like the new hardware. read more

4.5 stars We got a few windows replaced by MC and everything went fairly well. I've done quite a bit of research before going with them so I can definitely say that the price is right. They may not be the cheapest windows but they are definitely not overpriced like some other reviewers stated. I did get one of the quotes for few hundred dollars less but the windows were worse specs and not from major manufacturer so I decided to go with Milgard from MC. There was no sales pressure from MC person....just straight talk about the options (now talk about Renewal by Anderson sales people). Delivery took about 6 weeks from the date we signed the quote. I don't have a problem with timing since it was just an upgrade and we were not in a rush. I had to call the office couple times and I admit there was a lack of communication as for how long more we have to wait but they did call me back next day. Install went very well. Guys showed up as promised and did great job with install and cleanup. We could immediately tell the difference between old windows and the new. I'm getting another quote from them to replace the rest of the house. Great job, MC. read more

Master Craftsmen was great to work with and I would highly recommend them! My home was built in 1989 and was in need of window replacement. I ended up replacing several windows (two of them, I had them change the shape) and had them cut in a new window to bring in more natural light. After much time researching both companies and types of windows, I decided to go with Master Craftsmen and the Milgard fiberglass windows. Lorren came out to measure (a couple times since I changed my mind on a couple things) and had incredible customer service all the way through. He was patient and took time to address my needs and concerns. Once the types of windows were agreed upon, they sent someone to measure one final time before placing the order. The order took roughly 2 months to come in and then they called me to schedule a few days for the installation. They came out on time and did a beautiful job replacing the windows. It was important to me that the windows were completely replaced, not retrofit. They were exactly that and as described by Lorren. There was no drywall patch work necessary on the existing windows and minimal drywall patching for the newly cut or shape changed windows. They did a great job on the stucco work from the exterior as well. After installation, they noticed one window had a crack. The installer had already called it in and was in process of being ordered for replacement. Several weeks after that, I received a call from Master Craftsmen saying the window replacement was received and they scheduled a time to replace it. I'm looking forward to replacing the remaining windows in my home by Master Craftsmen and I definitely will be referring them to my clients in need of window/door replacement. I had all the windows replaced two years ago. I love that I don't have to have solar screens to keep hest out of house. This week I had scheduled my windows to be washed. In preparation I started to clean out the tracks. I was pleasantly surprised that there almost no dust in them after two years. I would recommend Master Craftsman to everyone. read more

This review is long overdue.. We selected Master Craftsmen after getting quotes and estimates from several companies.. some cheaper and some considerably more expensive. What we learned during our meeting with Master Craftsmen we used as leverage with the other companies. What we found is that many didn't use proper installation methods, they skipped corners to save you a couple bucks.. After a year, we are still very happy with our purchase. I hate to give this business one but I honestly expected a lot more. My home was broken into and I was looking for a door company to come and give a quote to replace the door. They came out and took all of the information for the type of door we were looking for. Everything seemed great. They sent us a quote after a few days requesting the quote. When we sent it to our insurance company, it was requested that we receive the bid with each line item priced. After a number of calls and emails...nothing. We were told we were sent something via email but still nothing. It was extremely annoying. This was around November 2019. The guy's name was Rich. Months down the road, we decide to call and formally complain. So they sent out Mike (President). Same thing happened. I tried emailing and calling to tell them I need the quote with the line items priced out. Nothing. No email back. No phone calls. Nothing. This was around April 2020 Door is still broken but we do have a gate up. Totally unprofessional. I wouldn't use this company. read more

Just like most of the reviews, we ordered and paid half for our front door in advance. Two months later with no contact I decided to call them. I was told that it's being made and it should be two more weeks. Three weeks later I called again and they told me they'll call me when the door is ready to be installed and when it does arrive they will inspect it for a couple days. Finally one more month passed I was called to schedule door install. Installation seemed to go well the first day until I noticed our marble was cracked. Of course according to master craftsman workers it was already like this. Even when we called the receptionist was trying to say we cracked it. Somehow she can tell a new crack from old crack from her cubicle. What I find odd about all this is, after inspecting our door for two days they still sent a messed up door with noticeable cracks on door frame, this is after they checked for who knows how long. They tried to hide it with paint, not smart because paint shouldn't be used as a filler. And our stucco patch around the outside door was supposed to be matched as close as possible, but that wasn't even close. If that was the best they can do, they are in trouble. Grey, rough and cracked all over. Obviously they just slapped one coat of cement and called it a match. They sent someone that knew what he was doing the same day because they wanted to get paid. He said that he can tell the marble was freshly cracked, the stucco patch was bad, and the cracks on door will be filled. They came when I was available and fixed everything. But before that, what a headache. Even though I still have to paint stucco. Door looks good, but the wait was not. We probably won't be using Master Craftsman for our windows. read more

If you want customer service this is NOT the place to go. When we arrived 3 of the 4 sales people had customers. Then one of the sales people finished with their customer. Now 2 had no customers. However, during all of this time we were never acknowledge. Now with the 2 sales people with no customers we still were not acknowledge. Then these two gentlemen both walked by us and still with no acknowledgement. After being in the building for approximately 20 minutes and no acknowledgement we just walked out. We had 14 Marvin Infinity windows installed. The gentleman who answers the phone is always helpful, friendly and respectful. The installation crew was outstanding. Emidio the supervisor excellent communication, lets you know when the crew will be there everyday. Installers Jesus and Khalil did a beautiful job. On time everyday, friendly, professional and clean. They took great pride in their workmanship, and it shows. The stucco guy, I never met, but he did a perfect match on my stucco repair around the windows and we were thrilled. 4 stars because the salesman failed to return my calls when I realized I should have had the kitchen window made shorter and wondered if it was doable at the factory. This was a month before the windows had shipped. I was given a woman to talk to when I called the second time when the salesman had failed to return my call. She never apologized for the lack of a return call, was very defensive and rude. I assume she is also the owner. A little tact would have went a long way. Perhaps our 30k order wasn't big enough to be talked to respectfully. Anyway, the windows are amazing, the installer crew was top notch and you won't be sorry. read more

Overall, our experience with Master Craftsmen was outstanding! We love our new fiberglass double entry doors (Therma Tru Classic Craft Rustic). All of the personnel, especially our sales rep (Brian) and installers (Brian and Hector), were professional and efficient. The only reason we did not give a 5-star rating is the time it takes to have the project fully completed. Other than that, we highly recommend Master Craftsmen Doors & Windows. From the time my husband and I walked into the Master Craftsmen showroom to the time of installation, Brian (sales rep) ensured we received the doors we wanted. He also came to our home to take measurements and note any special items our home would need to accommodate the doors. The only negative to our experience, as I mentioned, was that it took approximately 4 months from the time we signed our contract to have the doors installed. We were advised that the factory could take about 6 weeks to deliver the doors to Master Craftsmen, but we didn't know it would take another 2 months after that to do the install. During the time we were waiting, Master Craftsmen didn't call me with status; I had to do that myself in several phone calls. The day of installation, Brian (not the sales rep) and Hector not only called ahead that morning to ensure I'd be home but also showed up on time ready to go. I was very impressed with their process and really appreciated the extra lengths they went to in regard to protecting my floors, walls, etc., with their prep work. The person I worked with at first seemed nice, friendly and professional. We were looking to get a quote for a new front door and were told that it was in a certain price range. The manager took liberty on himself to make up the quote and send it to me while the original sales person had the day off. The quote came back $1500 higher than expected and a day late. After reading the reviews, I can only imagine if the quote came back late and inaccurate, could I really trust them to get my entry door installation correct? No thanks, Master Craftsman. read more

I signed up for Yelp just to leave a negative review on this company. Where do I begin? The sales part is great, but once they have you in there is no more communication from them. Master Craftsman will tell you a date/range then be sooooo late with no explanation or contact to let you know. Upon contacting them, they will not return your calls and you have to constantly follow up. Save yourself a lot of stress, go AnyWhere Else!!!!!!! P.S. I had new windows and sliders installed in the spring of 2014 by Master Craftsman and mixed feeling towards them. After several quotes, they were the most expensive, but the only company that would completely remove the original windows from my home built in 1991. I sucked it up and paid $12k to get what I wanted and purchased Milgard windows and sliders. 12 in all, replacing all existing windows and adding one window into a bathroom where one wasn't previously. They were a big upgrade from their predecessors, dramatically increasing insulation in both temperature and sound. Which was FANTASTIC! There was NO noticeable difference in power or gas bills however. This is unfortunate, but acceptable. Where they lose stars is it took about 3 months for the windows to arrive and be installed. Installation was supposed to take one day, but when only two installers were sent, it took 3. Then after about 6 months there was a significant rain storm, where a window had significant leaks. An installer was sent out to fix it, and once finished, he said the window had been poorly taped and sealed allowing water in over the top of the window. He said he would report back to his boss and they would most likely come out and inspect all of the windows. This never happened. About 2 months later, another window leaked during a storm. Which they returned to fix, and found to have the same issue. When asked if they would open up the rest of the windows to fix what I could now only assume was spotty work, they refused. Additionally, they have failed to fix some trimming and finishing errors on the original install, by simply never getting back to me. After spending top dollar, I am left with nice windows but a questionable install. Now every time there is a heavy rain I am compelled to check every window for leaks. I recommend Milgard Windows, but cannot recommend Master Craftsman to install them. read more

The end result of this project was what we asked for and expected and once they started the work their installation people were good. The rating is low due to the non existent customer service and complete lack of contact in the 60 days that we waited for the door to be delivered. When we first met the salesman he told us that Millgard would have the door here in 3 weeks and that the installation would take 2 days. We signed the contract on March 6th and were told that Millgard was busy and that the door would be in the week of April 6th and the 2 day installation was confirmed. By the end of the expected delivery week we had heard nothing from them so I started calling, the receptionist would only put me through to the salesman's voice mail. I left at least 4 messages and he never returned a call. I finally left work early and went to their office to find out what was happening. That was when he told me that door would be delivered a month late. The reason given was not believable. The door was delivered to them on May 4th and they did start installation on May 5th. The "2 day job" was completed in 8 days. I can't complain about the installation process because much of the delay was due to county inspection requirements. However I can complain about unrealistic 2 day promise made in the sales process, the complete lack of contact between signing the contract and the start of installation and the lack of a believable answer as to what caused the month long delay.. By comparison we are using a different contractor for an aluminum awning. They had a delay due to supplier problems. We received phone calls and emails keeping us informed of the problems and advising us of the expected delivery. Even though they are delaying their delivery they will be getting a positive review. There is a lesson here for Master Craftsman. read more

Before deciding on Master Craftsman, I did research on several companies and had 4 different companies in my home giving me options and pricing. After meeting with Brian Wall with Master Craftsman, I was absolutely certain that this company was my best choice. He was prompt, knowledgeable about all of the products, and helped me to decide on a door perfect for my home. From there, Christina kept me in the loop every step of the way on when the door would arrive and she arranged all of the installing. Mike and Patty answered every question we had about Pella doors and how the install would progress. The two shining stars are Julio and Hector. These two are true craftsmen. Master Craftesmen are wonderful! I've just moved into a new house, we'll new to me. The house is twelve years old and needed some fixing up. I had several odd jobs for them to do - from adding spring hinges to a door to painting a two-story entry to hanging new ceiling lights. Someone came out, gave me a great quote and a crew of two came back and made all the repairs. They did a great job and I couldn't be more pleased with the work or the price.
