As I am planning to sell my house this year, I needed to replace my sliding glass door since it did not lock appropriately. I appreciate that the salesman, Arthur, was not pushy and laid everything out for me pretty quickly. This is during the Christmas holiday and today, 22 January the installer arrived. I have put in windows and doors myself back in the early 90s when I was working for a contractor. But it's nice having somebody come in being professional and completing a job in about four hours. Oscar was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing what he did. Very friendly and fluent in English. While house was cooler after installation, several years ago, white vinyl frames yellowed and browned shortly after. Suggestion by owner Blake? "Paint them!" Really? Three of the four front windows were replaced. Fourth never came. A piece for the arch window in the master bath was missing. Called about it, nothing. Other frames with direct sun exposure are discolored. Don't play into the family photos in their advertising. That's a hook. If you have metal frames for your windows, find a company who will replace the glass panes. Sun and heat are torture for vinyl frames. read more

I contacted window world to replace my window because of a leak that I could not figure out. I signed a contract, and was ready to do it. They called me the next day after an in-person inspection and told me that I shouldn't replace my big living room window because it's already installed perfectly. We were in search of new windows on a 30 year old home we purchased 2 years ago. We did research on Yelp and read reviews of several window replacement companies. Got two estimates for windows and Window World came in way under. My first estimate recommended Milgard windows and we did like the look of since they have modern, flush handles. Window World offered Simonton which are slightly cheaper but similar quality and offered the more intense blue glaze which we thought would be best for our east facing windows. The windows arrived quicker than the quoted 6 weeks (3weeks), so I was pleasantly surprised when I got the call to schedule an appointment which worked out to be the following day.
