I called around to get quotes on assembly of a few items, (coffee/tea bar, TV stand with LED fireplace, an office chair and fixing/repairing the hanger bar and shelf in my primary bedroom walk-in closet. Mike came out to my house on Saturday with the intention of fixing my electric. He took his magic wand waved it around my house everywhere trying to find a spot where the electric was not working. He was having trouble finding it apparently, so then he decided to knock holes in my wall with a hammer. After this I told him "I just finished a bunch of the drywall work in the bathroom and I'm not interested in redoing a bunch of work." Me Then he proceeds to tell me that all "it takes 10 minutes to fix the drywall patch it's no big deal. Don't you wanna find the problem or not?" Mike said. So even after I told him not to Put holes into my wall. He still continue to knock holes in my wall he actually winded up knocking 13 holes in my wall total. Left all the drywall all over my floor didn't clean up or put away anything including the electrical box cover. And then when I called him the next day he proceeded to tell me that he could fix my drywall if I pay him to. He charged me $150 for his service and left my house in complete ruins. This was the worst service call I've ever had in my life and I would give him a negative rating if I could. I had an electrician come out Monday to fix everything Mike couldn't or wouldn't do on Saturday. The electricians cut 4 drywall holes in perfect squares and then replaced them back into the walls. Very nice. The job Mike came to do was remove satellite dishes from the townhouse we just purchased. 2 of 3 were relatively easy to remove. The 3rd however, was not such an easy job. It is so high. Mike's ladder was about 3 feet too short. He offered to get up on the roof but it was already 100° out at 9am and it had to be 120° on that hot, tar roof. We appreciated the offer but we refused to let Mike put his life at risk for a stupid satellite dish. He was nice and adjusted his fee for removing just the lower dishes. We will be contacting Mike again. We have a few minor repairs, painting and replacing a ceiling fan we need his help with. Work quality was good, price was high (but prices seem high with everything nowadays), expect him to stop by your house more times than planned due to forgetting things, but he will bombard you with calls for payment if you don't pay immediately the moment he finishes the job. Mike completed the work on my home yesterday afternoon and this morning, I have received 14 phone calls, 3 text messages and an email because he believed that I did not pay him. I was in a work meeting and could not respond right away. I sent him a screenshot of the pending transaction of the credit card payment. He was apologetic but seemed to suggest that harassing people for immediate payment was normal business practice so if you are ok with that, then Mike is for you. read more

If you are looking for a handyman your search is over. Call or text Mike and he will respond really fast and get you scheduled. I found Mike on Yelp and he came over to my house the next day. I had a disaster going on with a remodel and another handyman that I had hired. Mike came over and really helped me out. He looked over everything that I needed and also made some suggestions of things that needed to be fixed that I was unaware of. Mike called over some friends that came right over to fix a big problem that I had. His guys were very professional and did a great job. He also gave me the number of a new painter that came over the same day to give me a quote. I ended up hiring him and he also did a great job for me. Mike installed a new mantle that we bought to go over our fireplace. He also hung our TV above it. He did a great job. We added handles to all of our cabinets in the house and Mike put all of those on and also did a great job. We also bought a huge butcher block that we thought we could cut and put on the island. Mike suggested that we take it back and buy one from IKEA that was already cut. We did and this saved us around $400. We actually like the IKEA one better. We are very happy with all of his work and Mike really made our nightmare remodel so much better. Mike is arguably one of the least professional people I've ever dealt with. After having him quote a project I reached back out to get the project scheduled and ask a couple additional questions. I sent him a message on yelp and he just never responded. Ordinarily this would be the end of our interaction because I don't like to do business with people who can't bother themselves to respond, but in this case, it's the very end of my project and I really just want this small bit of work completed and thought I'd reach out one last time. I messaged him again asking if he'd received my message and he responded! Yesss!! He said he could come take a look at the job on Monday and would touch base later to let me know what time. Monday rolls around and Monday morning I texted him to find out what time he'd be over, and ask for his name so I could put him on the gate. He never responded. A week later (literally a week) I messaged him saying "Hi Mike I expected a better response time for somebody that had such great reviews on yelp. Do you plan on responding to me?" Finally he responds with a barrage of texts with excuses having to do with his truck-- then he calls me, and this is where things went sideways. On the phone with him I'm explaining the job and just so happen to mention the location (which he's never known-- and has NEVER been discussed) and he said, "Oh, that's why I never called you back, I can't do work there because of their insurance requirements." I explained that I never once told him the location and he kept interrupting me saying he couldn't work there-- finally I explained these penthouses have a new HOA board of directors, they don't have the same regulations AND-- none of this would matter anyway because he'd be working beneath MY company under my supervision. He refused to listen to me as I tried to explain that his insurance (or lack-thereof) didn't matter in this situation-- he was erratic, combative and argumentative. When I told him to never-mind and that I would be explaining my experience with him in a Yelp review he became indignant and told me that I wasn't allowed to write a review on him because we never contracted any business. When you give somebody a quote-- don't show up for appointments, don't respond to texts, or calls and argue with a prospective client you get bad reviews. That's how Yelp works. * Response to Mikes Response: This man had no bad vibe* after our first 8 exchanges, he was completely unprofessional before even talking on the phone. He still clearly doesn't understand that his insurance wasn't necessary-- he has a listening problem. This guy reminds me of a slick car repair man that's not used to dealing with educated businesswoman and doesn't care to listen or respect women at all (in my opinion). It's a shame this guy couldn't follow simple instructions and help me out with my job. I do a ton of work in Vegas and having a new handy-man in my corner would have been great. read more

Mike was a life saver, and I mean it. With Las Vegas summer heat and an unfinished repair by a big shot HVAC company, we were at our wits end. I found Mike on Yelp and he understood our situation and moved his schedule around so that he could help us. He climbed in the attic with 106 degree outside heat and ran a flex duct to give us the A/C we needed to survive the heat. I called multiple HVAC companies who all gave me the same " we're super busy with installs and can only do this small job, not this week, but next week." Michael is the most efficient handyman I've ever hired. I don't normally leave reviews, but I created an account just to leave him a review. That's how good he is at his job. My family and I have had a history of several problems in our home over the past few years that we've hired multiple other handymen to fix. Each time, after a long grueling process, the problems persisted or were worse than before. Then I discovered Michael, and he was the answer to our problems. Shows up on time and all that but Didn't even mask off the area of work when they sprayed texture. They told me don't worry it washes right off in the laundry and comes up with water...true story.
