They get no stars. They charged me 69.95 and they did not dry clean this. The wrinkles are still there and the spot. They ripped me off. NEVER AGAIN!!!compare the blue and khaki. First time customer, totally fair pricess, timely service but if course... the 1 item I'm protective about, the main reason I drove there and paid for service was returned to me with dust n dirt all up the right sleeve of my beloved jacket. it's blatantly obvious it was dropped on the floor after cleaning and I guess no one cared to even swipe the dust bunnies off. Reliable: They've simply never failed to deliver, even with rush jobs. I've even showed up a day early by accident on multiple occasions and still, they've handed me my stuff. Honest: If they feel that they won't be able to remove a stain or correct a problem, they'll tell you up front. Yet, these people still pull off miracles not just for me either, I've seen more than one relieved or pleasantly surprised customer leave this store. Last bit on the Honesty... This is an amazing place. The owner, Roy was so accommodating with all my husband's somewhat (unreasonable) requests, and he did so respectfully and with no judgements. My husband's dress shirts were so clean and fresh, they even did one of the shirt twice since there was a stain on it. They go above and beyond---to make their customers happy. I found dry cleaning to be so much more expensive when I moved from Orange County to San Pedro two years ago. I figured "it is what it is" until I visited Master Cleaners. I could tell that the place had a good size business by all the clothes ready to be picked up, yet the place was refreshingly quiet. The staff were friendly and engaging. I got pants cleaned and pressed for almost have the price of the local cleaner I used. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of the quality of work that would be done for such a reasonable price. I just started coming here to these cleaners about 2 months ago after having a bad experience with the cleaners I went to before. The reason I decided to choose this one is because they have good prices. I just recently had one f my favorite shirts done and I was so happy because there were some oil stains on them that I tried so many times to get rid of myself butjust couldn't so before throwing it out I decided to see if they could do anything for me and the stains are gone. I had brought in a jumpsuit to get a zipper fixed and ended up with a whole completely diff suit it's like they took the whole thing apart and sewed it back together. And the sewing looks all shredded like a five year old could of done it. She made the zipper a completely differently color than what it came with and it is two sizes smaller from her taking it in even tho I had not asked for that. Loved this place!!! I had a Photoshoot Thursday Mar 29 , my husband forgot to take his clothes to the cleaners I was aware of it till that same morning !!! So I called different places and everyone said it was a two day hold or ready after 5pm I needed this clothes ready before 3pm and they managed to make it happen ! This place is horrible they ruined my expensive dress shirt and don't even try to make up for it by paying me at least back for my $50+ dollar dress shirt they literally ruined. They are making bs excused that it happened elsewhere. My shirt was perfectly fine till they dry cleaned then my shirt color was ruined. Also the employees have no customer service skills at all and can't even answer the phones the proper way. I recommend everyone to not waste time in this place as if the owner is like this and allows employees to ruin your clothes and doesn't even make up for it... you are all better off going somewhere else. This will happen again and again and you guys won't even be reimbursed for your clothes or time wasted here. Roy and his team do a great job every time. Super reasonable rates and truly a one stop shop for laundry, dry cleaning and tailoring. They have cleaned leather, suede, tailored, from scratch, a costume for me, etc. Super friendly too! FYI the lady that does the tailoring is only there Tues, Thursday and Saturday. read more

I dropped off a satin dress to have it steamed. I retrieved it the following day and the strap was ripped almost completely off the bodice, and where it was holding on, the material was frayed like crazy. When I pointed this out to the woman checking me out, she said that they just steam the dresses. Along with that, there are hundreds of little microtears throughout the fabric, and especially on the bodice. Teeny tiny rips that leave little strings of fabric hanging off. I did not drop my dress off in this condition! To their credit, my dress is wrinkle free, but that is completely offset by the damage done to this dress. They were very nice and quick, but I do not think they handle the garments appropriately. They also charged me $18 to get my dress steamed. I don't know how that's affordable by anyone's means. I think their quality has gone down in the past few years, as many of the older reviews are positive, and the newer ones are negative. TL;DR Save your money. Don't spend $18 to get your dress damaged. read more

I am donating my wedding dress to an organization that turns them into shrouds for babies who die at birth or shortly after in the hospital, and master cleaners worked with me to clean the dress at a price I could afford before I give it away. I always get my clothes exactly when I need them, and cleaned and pressed to perfection. You would think you would get this from any dry cleaners, but you don't. Roy and his wife and team go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and like a member of their family. For years we have had a running joke that I always show up at one minute before closing, so Roy always makes it a point to stick his head out the door before he locks it to make sure that I'm not running towards it... Most the staff isn't very friendly which doesn't bother me so much if I was happy with the service. I took two dresses in to be hemmed never asking the price because I have had pants hemmed there years ago and figured it couldn't have been too much more for a dress. However, I was sadly mistaken and found that they charged $48 to hem two dresses. They just needed to be taken up a few inches nothing special. They change $10 for pants so a $14 difference on a $20 dress is significant to me. :-/ read more

This has been our family dry cleaners forever. Seriously forever. I remember coming here as a child. Now years later the son of the owner and his lovely wife have taken over the business. They have cleaned everything and anything I can think of. Everyday items special dresses and suits. Along with my wedding dress after the big day comforters heirloom blankets even my brothers race car suit after each race. Not only have I never had a problem with any item they are also very fairly priced. This isnt the huge selling point for me though. Although it is important its not the thing that has me drive out of my way to use there services exclusively. Its the fact that when I walk in they know who I am. They know exactly what I dropped off and what I have picked up. Its the fact that they know I like my items seperated from my husband. Personal touches and feeling like your business and hard earned money being spent is important to them. They actually care about the work they do. Your not just a customer in and out. Your their customer and they are there to help you. Open long hours to many days a week and an owner is always on site. You know if you see a business being run in this matter its because they really want to stay accountabke for the qaulity of the work and service. Thats what does it for me folks. I prefer my clothes without the plastic on them (I feel it's a waste,) and they always have my clothes unwrapped. Always on time. And the alterations lady does a great job. I love this place. I have done business with this place for 16 years. Then the original owners sold it, the prices have increased dramatically and the service is not even close to the original owners. I travel for business and I have my shirts bagged individually, I have done this every week for 16 years, it says right on the ticket when it is printed "Bag Separately" Today I went in to pick up my order $57 for 8 laundered shirts, 5 dry cleaned silk shirts, and 1 pair of slacks. The clothes were all together in 3 bags. My shirts were wrinkled and I asked that they do them over. I came back later, The clothes were bags individually, but they had not been re-pressed. I asked to speak to the owner, she was too busy in a meeting to come see me, asked that I talk to her next time, I then discovered one of my silk shirts was ruined with dry cleaning fluid. I showed that to the employee and told her I needed to see the manager right then. Bottom line is the business is not what it once was, very disappointed! read more
