Very good service and he told me he may not be able to get the stains out and still had to pay and I get it so I'm not mad. I'll be back again $5 per Hawaiian shirt. Fyi read more

WOW !! What a great cleaner... My only regret ... I didn't know about Marvin's years ago ... They dry clean on site ... which is rare these days. The cleaning result is perfect ... The alterations are exceptional. I've had a pair of favorite travel pants for years. I've put on some additional "lbs" and there was no way to let them out. But, Marvin made a small cut in the waste and inserted matching material [HOW did he do that?] and they fit me again. Free pickup and delivery on Thursdays Marvin has been there for years. I have to drive an extra 10 minutes to get there, but it's worth it 1,000 times over. He's nice, patient, and knows how to be creative. The results are fantastic. I read the yelp reviews (all of them) before going the 1st time. "I'm sold" Because I'm a part of the yelp "extended family" has been a resource I wouldn't trade for the world. THANK YOU Yelp ... read more

I'm a short girl. All my pants need alterations. He is my go to guy even for formal wear. He is the God father of dry cleaners.

7 of my white shirts were burnt by collar and turned yellow. Owner said i left them in bag too long. Owner refused to not charge me. Be careful they lose clothes and replace them with others as well. read more

I've been going to Marvin's for nearly 6 years now, ever since I moved to Palos Verdes. Marvin's cleaners is extremely convenient, reliable and you get great value. I drop off my clothes (sport coats, dress shirts, slacks) and he delivers them back to my house. It's not the closest cleaners to my house but I trust him. I love the convenience of having my card on file as well. Just makes the whole process easy. On top of that, he's just an extremely friendly guy, very personal experience. read more

I called to ask what the turn around time was to press a uniform. Marvin then proceeded to inquire what type of uniform, if I needed it cleaned also, etc. I explained to him that my son was in the fire academy and was unavailable during the week due to their strenuous schedule. He then said my son can drop it off Saturday no later than 10 am and he'd have it ready for him same day by 4 pm. Such a nice man and uniforms came out great. Highly recommend! read more

All time favorite cleaners ever. It's worth it to drive 10 miles knowing your clothes will be cleaned beautifully and taken care of. Service and staff are fabulous! read more

Marvin is great. Something can be said when you walk into a business and get greeted by the owner. The local small business that you always get 120% of what you pay for. Everything is always on time and as promised. Cleaning and Presentation always right on. You can bet when you're talking to the owner. Things are always done right. Alterations: I had dress shirts altered with size adjustments. When inspected, I could not tell the difference between the original stitch and the altered area. Just Perfect. Dress length. My Wife had a dress shortened. They determined the correct length there at the store and gave us a promised completion date. We picked up as promised and inspected. The work was exactly as the dress shirts. PERFECT. Thats so hard to find today. Besides cleaning feel comfortable getting repairs or alterations. read more

Marvin is a true man of the craft. He takes pride in his work, no matter the size of the job. I bring suits, dress shirts, corduroy, comforters, blankets, dresses, gowns, anything to him and he always does a great job. Clothes come out smelling clean, pressed, and with stains removed. Of all the dry cleaners I've tried so far in the South Bay (around 5), Marvin's is my favorite. Highly recommended. read more

I had been going to the cleaners where Marvin previously managed. I was always very appreciative of his excellent customer service and the cleaning was excellent. That cleaners has closed, so I was searching for a new one. I was shocked at the prices of the 3 cleaners I visited on Western Ave. I was so happy that I found Marvin at my last stop. I would say that his prices were drastically lower than the others. I was also relieved that there is a safe parking lot making access easy. read more
