This place is terrible. My clothes always come back stiff, dry, and not clean. They don't smell fresh, and they don't feel like they were washed properly. When I signed up, I chose my favorite detergent and fabric softener from their drop-down menu, but they switched it without telling me. Instead, they used some all-in-one or "sensitive" detergent that does not work. When I reached out, they told me I could start sending my own detergent and fabric softener since they don't supply them anymore. No discount, nothing. Basically, I'd be paying the same price while doing part of their job for them. I've since found a better service near my home that charges half the price and actually does a great job. Happiness Laundry Services is a complete waste of money. I won't be coming back, and I'll be telling my friends to stay away. read more

Happy Nest ruined multiple shirts, they came back discolored and with stains all over them. I reached out to CS and they offered me a $15 service credit. They wanted to rewash the clothes and then offer a max of $200 to replace. Two of the shirts alone are worth more than $200 and the fact they even sent these clothes back to me knowing they were clearly damaged instead of contacting me and trying to rectify the situation should tell you all you need to know. I'll NEVER use this service again and I recommend anyone to avoid at all costs. read more

Rough on clothes, and they lost a sweater and 2 or 3 tops. I didn't notice at first, but then I couldn't find my sweater ANYWHERE! Then as time went on, and I continued to use the service, I noticed 2 or 3 of my tops were missing! So I quit using the service. read more

I sent my nice sheets and pillowcases and received someone else's sheets and pillowcases that were a different brand and poor quality. The first time I received other customers items I assumed it was an honest mistake (I was wrong). I have used this service for several months with varying degrees of satisfaction. The last two times my laundry was returned with items missing and items that were not mine. Without many options for pick up laundry services I really wanted to like HappyNest but I also want to do business with someone that takes care of their customers and I'm extremely unimpressed. read more

We were giving this company a try since we heard raving reviews from our neighbors. Unfortunately I have nothing to rave about, instead it's quite the opposite. Not only was the price outrageous at $40 a bag when they say they have a location less then 1/2 a mile away, but when the laundry was delivered, not only did they just give us it back in plastic bags instead of their blue reusable bags, they also didn't hang any of the polos like we requested. They did however hang a jacket and a pajama top shirt. On top of the mix up with our order they also delivered the laundry to our neighbors house. Either they didn't read the address correctly or they just didn't care enough to double check their work. Luckily we have honest neighbors. Makes me livid to think that a company would be so reckless with someone's personal items like that. To say the least, this will be the first and last time using this company. read more

I have a rather large comforter that doesn't fit in our small apartment washer dryer unit. When we moved out here about two years ago this giant comforter was placed into a storage bag under our bed and hasn't been touched. When I saw ads for HappyNest and the good reviews, I thought they would be my chance to send this blanket out and start alternating my currently used comforter instead of having to hand wash my current one which I have been doing. My plan was to take turns with these blankets utilizing HappyNest. So, I pulled this blanket out of storage and sent it out on Monday. They picked it up in the evening and all was well. We got the blanket back yesterday night. It was in a cheap plastic bag, my vacuum seal bag was gone. It was folded neatly and as I opened it I wasn't met with the sweet smell of freshly laundered blanket. No. It was the same stagnant "2 years in storage" musk that I had sent it out with. I thought there was an issue and they weren't able to wash it. Maybe someone had forgotten to put soap in the wash and the dryer sheet slipped their mind... Nope. When I sent an email to them asking if this may have happened I was told there was no record of any issues. In essence, they took about $30 of my money to return my blanket the exact same way I sent it out. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I tried logging into my account today to deactivate it and it looks like they may have done that for me. read more

Worse service! They lost half my laundry bag and then basically called me a liar.... I was charged around 50$ for them to lose my laundry with a 10 off coupon fir 1st time users! Expensive! Then they found my missing laundry... I requested a refund and they refused only to offer a 15 credit! Which i had to contact customer service and wait a week or so to see added to my account. They do not deliver on time, sometimes they pretend to deliver when my security cameras can prove no such "attempt" ever happened, and they don't contact you to say they're not delivering AT ALL! They pretended to "attempt delivery" 8 hours after they told me they would be delivering my belongings when in fact they never tried! They didn't even contact me! Zero updates! I had to contact them to get my belongings back! They are truly horrible! IF they decide to deliver your clothing they are 6 plus hours late every time! Worst company I have ever come across! Horrible! I gave them multiple chances to step up their act, to correct their mistakes and they continue to get worse and worse. Do not make the mistake I made in using this company. We've used this service for about year. They switched the name from fluffed and folded to happy nest. We used to be really happy with the service. Since they've switched to Happy Nest the quality has gone down significantly. I've had to send entire batches of laundry back to be rewashed because the clothes seemed dirtier when they came back than when we sent them. The last six weeks in a row they haven't folded the laundry correctly, just laying unfolded laundry in the bag to be returned. Everyone has an off week so I let it go at first. I've emailed them 3 weeks in a row and the only response is an email saying they'll talk to the people doing our laundry and it will be corrected the next week. I think it's time to look for a new laundry service. read more

Now that I have been utilizing the more reputable and professional launder and dry clean service, LAUNDRY UP, I realize even more now how subpar and unethical Happy Nest's business is. My clothes actual look and smell clean with LAUNDRY UP. They NEVER smelled cleaned with HappyNest and they didn't look completely clean either (as you can also see by many other reviews the same negative feedback about Happy Nest). They also do not even provide a dry clean, pick up and drop off service like LaundryUp does. LaundryUp is a one stop shop and accommodates everything. And if there is an error, Laundry Up, in a professional and ethical way, will take care of the issue. HAPPY NEST will not, they will lie and do the opposite and blame the customer. You have been warned. Happy Nest is one of the worst business I've ever done business with. They have damaged so much of my clothing and some of mine are Nordstrom's and/or designer clothing. read more

No more Happy Nest for me!!! I was a regular customer for over 2 years. About 1.5 weeks ago, I sent 66lbs of laundry in to be washed and folded. I received about half of my laundry back along with someone else's. I filed a claim immediately and returned the 3 bags of laundry that wasn't mine. Happy Nest was quick to get back with me. However, they treated it as if it was not a big deal and would only say they are investigating the lost laundry. After 8 days, I was told my 30+ lbs of laundry was lost and all they could offer was $200. 1st-Laundry was not suppose to be mixed with others peoples. That's gross. 2nd- As a loyal customer, they didn't seem to care much about our missing laundry. Even if my laundry was returned by another customer, I don't think Happy Nest as any protocol on how to get the laundry back to me. 3rd- The franchise does not allow you to contact the local facility which probably would have been able to move quicker on looking for the missing clothes. 4th- Only $200 offered for over 30lbs of missing laundry. They should have max lbs on how much you can have washed and folded at a time. 5th- When there is a mistake, there is nothing you can do about it. Look at their fine print. Similar to the other reviewer, we have used this service since around the start of the pandemic. It used to be Fluffed and Folded before it changed to Happy Nest and it was operated out of the Eco Spin Laundromat in Lomita. We were pretty happy with the service, and any hiccups seemed quickly and earnestly addressed. Unfortunately since it was sold to Happy Nest, the quality control of the laundering has gone way down and has reached unacceptable levels. Also, no email or feedback has been responded to, and I have never been refunded or credited for rewashes (because of laundromat error). Just like the other reviewer, batches of laundry had to be sent back to be rewashed- because it had been washed in scented products, against clear instructions . In one case, a bag of towels was returned quite damp. To my knowledge, I have never been credited for these errors. The last straw was now receiving back dirty towels with an unknown brown substance with it and on it. On the positive side, I want to also say that the drivers were and are absolutely lovely, both before and after the change to Happy Nest, very professional and have never missed a pickup.
