I would say that if he just kept his mouth shut instead of acting like a know-it-all, the process would have maybe garnered him 3 stars. Besides, if something were wrong, all he had to do was tell me to relax and help me with releasing more tension for him to work with. Don't give me flack for something that I can't help. When this location canceled my massage, I followed an employee's recommendation to contact another Massage Envy location to see if they could accommodate me. The other location's earliest availability was Sunday, so I scheduled my services there instead. Only after making those arrangements was I informed that the original location would still charge me for the Friday facial. Had I been told this beforehand, I would have handled the situation differently. To make matters worse, the manager, Juan Carlos, did not contact me until around 2 PM--after my 1 PM facial appointment had already passed--and told me I could not reschedule. Despite never receiving the facial at this location, two of my accrued service credits--essentially two months of my $80/month membership--were deducted for the $160 treatment. I received no service in exchange for those credits. I reached out to corporate to give them an opportunity to address this and have yet to receive a response. I understand cancellation policies, but this situation began because the location canceled part of my original back-to-back appointment. I don't believe a customer should lose two accrued service credits under these circumstances. This experience has been extremely disappointing.
