Tomarra is an *exceptional* massage therapist…read more I found Tomarra through Yelp - I was hopeful that I could find a good massage therapist who lived nearby. I was an occasional customer, then time passed and I suffered an injury, and Tomarra became an integral part of my healing journey, as important as my doctors and physical therapist. Tomarra uses multiple techniques - what I found that worked best for me was to describe where and what types of discomfort that I was experiencing and to let Tomarra figure out the best way to treat it. She knows how to work well with our bodies and this approach never led me astray. Tomarra's studio is extremely clean and her space is well organized. I wish I could give her more than five starts, she deserves it!

I cannot begin to say enough great things about Jen and JAB Therapeutics. My boyfriend and I…read morestarted seeing her this year and I can say without a doubt that both our lives are better because of her. Jen is amazing through and through and is so good at what she does. She is so focused and dedicated to your overall health and helping you feel your absolute best. I have been struggling with significant pain from a shoulder injury and not only has Jen helped relieve a lot of that pain, she has also been integral on helping me figure out what is wrong. One thing I love about Jen and her practice is that you will absolutely never feel rushed. At most massage places you feel rushed due to the client turn around, whereas Jen schedules her appointments so that you have plenty of time to go over your needs and address any issues or concerns. Jen's practice is based out of her home and is every bit comfortable, relaxing and inviting as any other massage place. There have been several times that I've had to change my appointment last minute and Jen has always been accommodating and understanding. She never charges cancellation fees and has always been able to squeeze me back in as needed. Her appointment scheduling is all online and is very easy to book and cancel online immediately. She also does take many health insurances and takes care of everything between you and your insurer. Jen truly is a massage wizard and every time I see her I receive a completely different massage based on where I am at physically. Personality wise, Jen is one of the kindest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. You'd have to be a real piece of work not to instantly fall in love with her. If you want a quiet and relaxing massage, then that is what you will get. If you want a massage where you'll leave feeling like you should have paid her for a therapy session as well, then you'll get that too! In any case, expect to always leave feeling like you're walking on water. Jen, thank you for helping make my life better in so many ways. One of the best decisions we have made this year has been becoming your clients.

Serena is a bully, I was treated like an animal. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST DISABILITIES. I tried to…read moregive her a second chance, but she treated me horribly both times I scheduled with her... This woman literally kicked me out of her office for asking very nicely for her to turn off the television... as flashing imagery can cause seizures for me. I asked nicely 5 times and tried to explain why, but she kept cutting me off and saying, "Just don't worry about it." If I could simply not worry about it without making myself sick, I wouldn't have asked. I then said, "Please, can you just turn it off before we begin so I can open my eyes?" And she preceeded to kick me out, saying that "alright it's not the vibe, just go to massage envy,' and 'this is not the dynamic of Sanar massage." Okay? Then why are you making it the vibe?? She literally said, "I'm a healer! I don't play these games!" Girl... if you were a healer, then WHY would you subject someone to something that would make them physically ill when it's simple enough to just turn the massive television taking up the entire room OFF? She wouldn't let me finish a thought. Wouldn't let me explain why I was asking for this simple accommodation. My partner tried to interject and explain that I do infact need this in order to avoid a dangerous neurological response. She wouldn't let him speak either. I begged her to just please just hear me out , and then she threatened to call the cops... I am taken aback. I have no idea how this woman stays in business when she treats her kind, genuine, well-paying clients like absolute garbage. To Serena: I have to protect myself constantly from triggers in the outside world... I came in fully loaded with sunglasses (at night), ear plugs, a brimmed hat to help block out unwanted visual input, and a face covering because I'm immunocompromised. I did everything I could to protect myself and make my needs clear. It's your job to LEARN about your clientele so that you can best treat their underlying conditions causing pain in the body. If you won't listen to this one sentence, how am I expected to effectively explain my other ailments that may determine the treatment I can endure? I hope this message helps you learn the invaluable lesson of being open and loving to those with different needs than your own, and perhaps open your mind up to the idea that not everyone's perception of the world is identical. If you were a true "healer," then you wouldn't let your ego get in the way of providing care to those who need it most.

I have tried everything to find relief from my lifelong teeth grinding problem, the best l could do was a constant ache that over the years included my neck, face and scalp. If you are looking for a healer, Kim is your magician!…read more I was introduced to this incredible studio by a colleague/friend of mine, and she spoke very highly of Sukha Happens. Of course, me being a true yelper, searched and discovered many great reviews. It was then decided, I've got to schedule. The online scheduling process was extremely user friendly, and immediately sent an email confirmation with the details of my deep tissue massage appointment... I've been working heavily lately, so I knew I was in severe need of self care, my only hope was that Kim could help ease my physical discomfort. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, the door was unlocked, and upon entry I noticed the cleanliness of the yoga studio, and the organization of the many products offered. In addition, there was the amazing scent of sage burning (spiritual satisfaction) so now my senses are heightened and anticipation is rising. A short moment later, out came Kim with a very bright smile and open arms. We had a great opportunity to briefly get to know one another prior to my treatment while also completing the registration. I told her what I needed her to focus on, and she made note of it. During my phenomenal treatment I was mentally taking back to childhood ages when I could float in the bath tub and all of my body was relaxed, a time where there was no pain, no hurt, no job, no bills, and certainly no stress... Needless to say, by the end of the massage, everywhere there was tension, was a sensation of relief. I am so grateful I got the chance to schedule with Kim. I'm am now, a regularly satisfied customer
