I get massages often and have worked at numerous massage spas in the area - Massage Season definitely deserves 5 stars. I had an hour session yesterday with Angela, she was wonderful! I was a little skeptical at first as it's not in the best shopping center and doesn't necessarily have a fancy spa feel. I'm glad I went forward with it and scheduled an appointment. Angela checked in with me several times to make sure the pressure was okay and to make sure she addressing my target areas. She also did a great foot scrub. Their prices are really reasonable and the staff are all very professional and friendly. I scheduled my next appointment for 2 weeks! We came here after a wonderful meal next door, and was looking for a quick foot massage. They did not offer this service here, but they did offer a foot soak with the massage. When we said we were interested in 30 minutes, we were pressured by the front staff that it was better to get the hour massage. We agreed. When we got the foot soak, they gave us a basin full of hot water and left. I thought were were going to get a neck massage while we were waiting for our foot soak. When I mentioned that the water was super hot, they said that I should just get used to it. I've gotten plenty of foot soaks in my life and I know when the water is TOO hot. Then, I didn't think it was OK for us to pay for 30 minutes of massage to just sit there without shoulder or neck massage, and so I asked for a massage instead. They said that's fine, and laid us down on the bed without even wiping out feet with a towel. When we mentioned that, she was like it's fine, and then used the bed sheet to wipe her foot. !!?!?! Then they repeatedly we better hurry because they close at 9PM. and it was already 8:04PM. The massage was terrible. Absolutely no skills whatsoever. Felt like a really uncomfortable lotion rub. Just rubbing lotion haphazardly all over the body. No methodical at all. She would go to one place and go to another. Another thing that made me very uncomfortable was that my masseuse only used ONE hand. I was really worried what she was doing with the other hand since my bag was was hanging by the hook on the wall. I kept having thoughts wondering if she was using her phone with her other hand. I had no idea what she was doing with her other hand the whole time. During the entire hour, I was wondering if I should just stop the massage which I have never done before. Will definitely go back! As shared in other reviews and confirmed by the management team, this is a new business. It's located next to the Giant near Dogfish Ale house. I called the day before the date of service needed and was able to schedule a couple's massage for my husband and myself. You can also book appointments online which is so convenient. The team is most professional and very welcoming. They even assisted me with directions since Google maps brought me to a shopping mall about two miles away from where they are actually located The room that was used for the massage is very inviting and the heated massage table was certainly a nice touch as was the hot stones which were incorporated into my massage. What I love most about the session was that there was minimal chatter and no outside distractions. The background music was just the right touch and really helped to clear my mind. The therapist also asked about pressure adjustments early on in the session which is appreciated b/c it made it made things less awkward for me ---by not having to ask for more or less pressure before giving her at least a few minutes to begin the massage. Customer Service Issues: I went there with a friend on 12/24/2016 around 6:30 pm. The lady at the front desk is ignorant and needs training on customer support. I told her I will pay $30 for each of us for 30 minutes. In response to that she said to me that you must have paid so low because you did not go to any better places, that was shock no. 1 for me. Upon hearing this shocking comments, I asked her how do you know if I have been to any better places or not? I have been to Thailand which is the center of all the massage in world, and her response was, "You talked to much", and my friend and I just laughed at her response. Masseuse Problem: they just love to steal 5-8 minutes from your time. They finished at 22 minutes instead of 30 minutes both for my friend and me. So watch out because they steal your time from you. Came here with my girlfriend for a couples massage and it was a really nice time. Staff were friendly and helpful. The staff was very good about making sure we were okay and that nothing hurt. It was almost a full body massage, but for some strange reason they did not massage the front part of our body. It seem that they lost track of time and stopped out of nowhere. Have been several times but can't go back anymore. Staff is so rude and talk loud in Chinese all the time. They drag their feet up and down the hallway and sometimes run up to front desk. Have let them know about how noisy and rude the staff is and they never do anything about it. It is also pretty dirty . Bathroom is filthy and red blankets in bed are used over And over in clients without being washed. Staff speaks very very very little English and may not be licensed . Owner is very rude and loud also. They just don't care and have no class when it comes to clients comfort and respect. Lisa is the very very best therapist there. The woman who worked on me had strong hands and got the tension out my back.That was the only plus about the appointment. However, I do not think she knows the difference from cellulite and tension knots, I had lost 100 lbs and have a lot of cellulite in my arms and legs.I told her to be careful around my knees, I had to screamed "stop" when she kept pushing on my legs. I told her she was hurting me and She says "You have so many knots" and she continued and did not respect my request.. It has been 5 days since and I have bruises up and down my legs and arms. Anyways, I bought a 90 minutes reflexology and found out that it was only for foot and I had to pay $26 more for full body reflexology massage. My masseuse was FiFi and she had strong hands and her technique was great and she did a great job on my sore back and foot muscles. I feel much relaxed after. Great experience. I came here late on a weekday after the holidays and they helped me get a slot immediately. The amenities are clean and the environment is relaxing. Nice lighting and good, quiet music in the background. Vicky gave me a 40 minute massage focusing on my back. She immediately knew that I sit in front of the computer for most of my workdays. She proceeded to massage the spots that felt really good! Throughout, she asked me if the pressure was good and was very attentive. I just got back from one of the strangest massage experiences I've ever had and I get massages at least once every 2-3 months at various places. I've been to Massage Season a few times before and have had good experiences, but it had been more than a year and I knew they were under new management. The one thing I didn't like before was that the walls don't go up to the ceiling so you can often hear conversations in other rooms. Still, I liked my particular masseuse (who is no longer there) and you can't beat the price. The massage itself was fine (I've had better, but I've also had much worse) and Layla was very nice. However (and that's a very big however), I was shocked when she answered the phone during my massage and scheduled an appointment with a customer (all with one hand still massaging my head). Later, the phone rang again and she didn't answer it, but proceeded to then make a call and talk to someone (again, while massaging my shoulders at the same time). When I asked about it after the session she said that she gives massages, but that when it's busy she has to answer the phones too. In reading other reviews, it sounds like she's mostly at the front desk so I'm not sure which is her primary job. I get that they charge less than most places, but c'mon, is it too much to turn the phones off for an hour if you don't have a receptionist? Given the price I'll probably be back and will request someone who only gives massages and doesn't have to take calls as well, but I wanted to warn people who may be going expecting a relaxing time that they shouldn't be surprised if this happens. I have been to this place about 3 times in the past (all 1 hour session) and it was all pleasant. But last week I decided to try their 90 mins session ($79). The woman her name was Vicky who gave me the massage did a decent job, in the end when I was ready to pay and I gave her $12 tip, she said "$12 is too little, you need to pay $20 tip". I did pay her $20, but I feel gratitude cannot be demanded. I feel $12 was 15% and it is reasonable. They need to train their workers better. read more

Great little shop near work for some desk work destressing. Clean, friendly staff and a great value at $55/hour. This included a full body massage and a bit of reflexology thrown in. The pressure was just right and worked out some stiff areas. The rooms are open ceiling wall dividers so assuming you have quiet neighbors, it's no problem. This appears to be a relatively new business, and I gave them a try today (it is Small Business Saturday, after all). I was assigned to a massage therapist named Lucy. She was very good, and obviously has proper training. She practiced deep tissue techniques, was thorough and professional. I was looking forward to my appointment after reading the high reviews here. I called and made a day-of appointment for a 90 minute Swedish Massage. Upon arrival, Lucy at the front desk asked me how I heard of them. I told her I had purchased a gift card for SpaFinder off of Groupon ($50 with a bonus $25). She immediately informed me that this would be the only time I could use a SpaFinder card with them because they are not making any money off of it (very unprofessional to share this with a customer!) I gave her the $50 coupon, and when I presented the $25 (since a 90 minute should have been $75) she told me the total was $50. When I questioned her on the price she said it is $50 and next time I should just come to them if I wanted to pay $50 for a massage. Pleased that I would be spending less than I planned, I went back to the room. Lucy ended up being my masseuse. The massage itself was excellent. She spend extra time on all of my tight spots and I felt so relaxed after! The downsides to the experience were that about 5 minutes into the massage, Lucy began taking to someone else (through earbuds maybe?) then left the room to attend to something else. The massage was also interrupted 2-3 other times with people coming into the room to talk with Lucy. Afterwards, I checked my phone and the massage was a total of 50 minutes. While I enjoyed the massage itself, the overall experience was poor, though you get what you pay for. The prices are much cheaper than others in the area, and I wish she would have asked a follow up question when I was surprised that the cost was less than what I was expecting (presumably the price of a 60 minute massage). The disruptions were distracting and made the experience less enjoyable. She also mentioned the entire massage that I was very tight. Yup- that's why I'm here! I would recommend this spa if you want a good, reasonably priced massage, but don't mind frequent interruptions! read more

While you can pay a lot more and go to a place with more frills, for just a regular or couples massage service the price can't be beat. They did a great job on our entire bodies, it was very relaxing and they gave us the full amount of time. It would have been good if they had asked ahead of time if there are any areas to focus on, how much pressure we prefer, etc. but we were happy with all of it. I also noticed it is a little distracting that there aren't complete walls to keep outside noise out but it wasn't too bad. I'm writing this review to save you the pain that we experienced. Went there today for a couples massage. We filled out no paperwork (which was a red flag) and were simply asked if there were any spots to focus on during our full body massages. The masseuses spoke little to no English. So neither one asked if we had any conditions to be aware of before beginning and didn't ask whether the pressure was ok. During the hour massage, they both focused only solely on our upper backs, so much so, that my shoulders are sore (my girlfriend had to tell her masseuse three times that she couldn't take anymore massage in that area). I'm questioning whether the two masseuses we had were even licensed. My masseuse abruptly gave two tugs to my arms and legs. Pulling and stretching are fine, but you should never yank on someone's extremities. I've had a number of massages and never wished for it to end like I did today. read more

This spa is conveniently located in a Strip Mall in Gaithersburg and is clean, tidy, has good sheets, massage tables and a friendly receptionist. A good price of 55 for repeat customers and good experienced masseuses. My masseuse, Linda was extremely good with the Swedish style and knows how to apply acupressure style pressure for troubled spots. Her style is long flowing, even strokes, customized pressure and the slowest hands I have experienced. Overall a great experience and will repeat. Do recommend. read more

What a hidden gem! My husband and I just completed a couples massage with Gina and Linda. It was perfect. They were very kind and professional. The rooms were very clean and peaceful. They applied the perfect amount of pressure per our requests and occasionally checked in to ensure we were OK with their pressure erc. They also massaged for the full hour.
