In all my years of getting massages, this easily the best massage I've gotten. My husband and I moved to CA from Chicago recently and have been packing, driving cross country, unpacking, painting, doing stuff around the house and we needed a massage badly. We scheduled an appointment over Yelp today, and they were able to schedule us in same day! We were greeted immediately with a smile and taken to the back. We signed paperwork because you know COVID and got our temperatures taken, don't forget to wear a mask when you come in! We each got our own room which was perfect because we have tried couples massages and his snoring wasn't very relaxing to me lol the hallway had an essential diffuser going and the room was fresh and cool, all while soothing meditating music was playing. I didn't know until after the massage when paying that the owner did my massage, all I gotta say is she knows her stuff! I have been having a hard time sleeping because I had soreness in my shoulder blade. Little did I know that I had a knot! All the stress of moving our whole lives to a new state took its toll. I feel like a new person. This isn't just a massage, it's a wellness check and they fix you right up! I got a full body massage, very thorough, she used warm towels at the end of the massage to wipe down the lotion and finished the massage which I haven't gotten at other places. Do yourself a favor and get a massage here! I read a review here that mentioned the prices are high, the massage I got easily would cost over $100 at other establishments. A good quality massage with the techniques I experienced today absolutely rates the prices they have marked. The prices are 1000000 reasonable for everything they do. My yoga studio is next door to Massage Poise and I had heard a few students as well as our instructor mention it was a great place for a good massage. Yesterday I had really just had enough pain, so I popped in before my class and asked if they had availability after my class. They did and were able to get me on the schedule after my class. My massage therapist was E! I have a lot of issues with tight muscles and need someone really strong with a lot of pressure and she more than exceeded my expectations. Simply amazing. Best massage I've ever had. From setting the appointment, Massage Poise was welcoming and warm. My private room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had knots, tightness and sore muscles in my neck, shoulders, back, upper and lower legs and even some in my arms I hadn't realized were there. Yi took her time and expertly worked out every last knot. Pure relief. She knew exactly the perfect pressure and put me in a deep relaxation. I have to say it was a wonderful massage she was able to release all the tension in my shoulders and my lower back. I booked my appointment through yelp and they responded quickly and kindly. When I arrived, I filled out a COVID 19 questionnaire and they took my temperature. It was very clean there and I felt safe. The temperature and the music were just right for a relaxing time. They had hand sanitizer everywhere. I got a 90 minute massage which was amazing! My masseuse was Sophia and she had a great touch. I like medium pressure and it was just right. She seemed to know exactly where I needed the attention. I'm a golfer and a dentist and my back, neck, arms and feet have been sore and she took away all my soreness. When I left she gave me a bottle of water. Great experience!
