I arrive ten minutes early to my appointment, the receptionist was really sweet and gave me paperwork to fill out. Five minutes later, the door next to receptionist opened, and there was Andrew with one of his patient. He acknowledged me right away and told me he would be with me within five minutes. Once his patient left, we discussed what I wanted him to work on. By this time, fifteen minutes had passed. I make it a habit to watch the times when getting massages because so many masseuses will try to end early. So my knots are very hard, stubborn, old, and very ingrained. I've gone to numerous masseuses to work on them, and they are always surprised about how tough my knots are. Andrew was no different, he commented on how stubborn they were and got to work. Andrew massages are intense; he was actually surprised that the pain wasn't bothering me. The left side of my body has more stubborn knots than the right side, on the left aide I could feel Andrew trying to loosen them and even getting frustrated that he couldn't. He worked more on the right side then the left. He talked the whole time, which I didn't mind, and before I knew it, he said," oh, it's 3:45, we are done", and he abruptly stopped. He then walked out. I was very annoyed after he left, due to his own doing we started late, I didn't get the full hour, and massages aren't suppose to suddenly stop, it's common standard to gently and easily ease into ending the massage. I paid him, thanked him, tipped him and he explained the many different rates and packages he offered. As I was leaving, I noticed that my right side felt better, but the left was hurting because he hadn't spent as much time on it as the right. So to recap: Pros * clean office * convenient location * very deep massage Cons * started fifteen minutes late * I didn't get my full hour * the massage wasn't properly ended * left side didn't get the work it needed. I debated whether or not to go back, ultimately the fact that I didn't get my full hour, to this day annoys me and that alone made my decision to never go back. If I pay for a full hour, I expect a full hour! If they can't provide that, then don't offer it as option!!! On to the next place.

I arrived just on time- he had to set up the room still so I chilled for a bit. Went in, changed. He asked me what I was there for (to relax, or get kinks worked on). I opted for kinks as my right shoulder/ neck was really bothering me those previous few days. His massage is strong. When he got to my calves I was sweating- that hurt the most but it was probably good for me. He didn't talk much during the massage which I prefer- only ran out for a min to grab his dinner that was delivered (and left the door open which I thought was a little weird, but no one was at the office anyways). I would have liked more insight on my body and how to care for myself, but when I asked him for his feedback he did mention to foam roll. Overall massage was good and I would recommend the groupon, but the experience wasn't extraordinary enough for me to go back.

I was in a lot of pain when I started my first session and couldn't lay flat due to the pain. He was able to tailor the session to do the massage sitting on a chair and even after the first session my pain went down by a great amount. In January of 2019, my husband and I each booked a massage package with Keith Andrew Stiles. We had gone to him for massages a few times before and were comfortable and trusting of his work. For the massage package, Keith offered us a heavily discounted rate and in return, asked us to pay in full upfront. He emailed me an invoice and I paid him via Venmo. After fulfilling 50% of the deal, Keith consistently cancelled on us several times, all last minute (within 45 minutes of our appointment) giving one excuse after another. After a month and a half of trying to schedule appointments and Keith cancelling, I was certain that Keith was not going to fulfill the massage service that we paid for in full, so I politely asked for a refund. Keith responded that he did not have the money. Soon after, his cell phone number was no longer in service. I have emailed him three times and have received no response. I reached out to him several times on social media and received no response as well. Recently, I looked him up on the New York State Board of Professions website and he is not currently registered to practice massage therapy. To practice within New York State, a professional must be licensed AND registered.
