Similar to other reviews, once money is sunk, you'll likely see shady practice where "the good therapist" is usually unavail or they'll double book and game your time until you settle for others. I had a great first massage, followed by some of the worst by others...barely any effort or movement. One essentially just held my hand for a good 5 min (I thought she fell asleep). I've had stronger handshakes. This is unethical. If they want to render less service for deals, it should be stated upfront rather than bait and switch.

No shame over here. It's money so I better make sure it's well spent. From the description, they were offering a "pure relaxation" massage and I instantly had images of myself laying on the beach with a big fat umbrella, two insanely hot guys fanning me, the sound of slowly lapping waves in the distance, and some ice cold water being handed to me by an insanely hot chic. Ahhhh.. Back to reality. This is a massage we're talking about. I saw Tommy's name mentioned a few times in the reviews so I decided to book with him. Upon walking in, I was greeted, offered water and then introduced to the man himself. He walks me back to his private room where he shows me the table, asks me which spots he wants me to focus on (lower back, scalp).. He proceeds to give me a super relaxing, firm (but not super firm where I would consider it deep tissue) massage. The hour flew by and before I knew it, it was time to go. If you're looking for a spot to get a great massage with a skilled therapist, come to see Tommy.

The massages I've gotten focused a lot on my neck and back and have been very relaxing. After receiving massages from Homa, my headaches have disappeared and my muscles feel a lot more relaxed. My stress level has gone down as well. The massages environment is nice as well and gives out a peaceful aura. I love the water fountain in the waiting room and some of the books that you can read while waiting. The music that is played during the massage is lovely as well. I also suffer from frequent headaches and she was able to find the culprit! I had a bunch of knots in my neck she was able to massage out. After 4 instances of leaving the massage room during my massage to tend and talk to other employees, I expressed my displeasure. She was apologetic and didn't accept a tip at the end which I offered so I decided to give her another chance and I returned this week. But - the same exact thing occurred! After she left the room to chat with someone else, and returned, I told her if she left again, that I would want to end the session. I told her this happened before with her and it's not professional. She took out google translate (that was nice) and said the economy was bad and they don't have a receptionist. That is not an excuse for accepting a 90-minute appointment and failing to fulfill the commitment. She couldn't guarantee that she wouldn't leave the room, so I ended it. It was better when Harmony ran the place. I would NOT recommend this establishment. Splendid Foot near Ranch 99 is much better and very professional. I didn't mention that she pressured me to pay as much cash as I had, the rest on CC, and she wanted a tip in advance. I told her my policy was to tip after the service based on quality (and I'm an excellent tipper)! I will never return there and caution you to save your time and money.

I will never again purchase anything from Groupon, nor will I ever entertain the thought of scheduling a massage with Amma Station. This is clearly a bogus operation to lure customers, yet one cannot ever schedule an appointment. I suspect they keep 2 sets of books--one for regular paying customers, and another for Groupon. It was not painful to schedule and Jeri was very accommodating. She has a website which makes things a bit easier when figuring out a time to schedule. So I arrived at my appointment a little early since I figured there might be paper work to fill out as many massage/chiropractor places do and I wanted to get my full 70 minute massage. When I got there, the place was locked. I was like...hmm...did I get the wrong time? I checked my reminders and such and still it was the right time. I called Jeri and got her voicemail, so I left a message. I stuck around as I was able to since it was my day off. So I played on my phone. Jeri finally arrived in a frazzle and apologized that she was late. It was approximately 20 min later. It was fine. I had no where to go until lunch. So I went in and filled out paper work that stated where I had issues if any. Jeri got the room ready with the calming music. Jeri was very sweet and was very interested in what I've had issues with in my body and focused on what issues I had. Before starting of course you wonder, how naked do I have to get? You can get as comfortable as you want to which is nice. Although yes she massages through a sheet, I didn't mind it. She starts off with you lying face forward, then face up where she does more acupressure work. Mind you I haven't had acuppressure before so, I wanted to try it out. I'm sure she did it correctly. I just don't think it did much for me. After having Thai massages in Thailand, I've realized I need something a bit more rigorous. Not to say Jeri wasn't rigorous, I think it was just the type of massage. Jeri was great. She was very in tune with how much pressure to apply and asks if it's too much or too little unlike some masseuses who just want to break you. It's definitely soothing, though having a room right next to the front of the office, you can hear the phone go off and messages being left, so it can be a bit distracting. Either way, if you want to try Jeri out, I would highly recommend her. I just don't think it was my thing.
