I also tried to contact Groupon Customer service for assistance, yet during the chat, I would be locked out. I am out the money I paid. I will never again purchase anything from Groupon, nor will I ever entertain the thought of scheduling a massage with Amma Station. This is clearly a bogus operation to lure customers, yet one cannot ever schedule an appointment. I suspect they keep 2 sets of books--one for regular paying customers, and another for Groupon. Those calling to schedule an appointment with Groupon will only have available appointments after the voucher had expired (this is what they offered me). Shame on Amma Station and shame on Groupon.

It was not painful to schedule and Jeri was very accommodating. She has a website which makes things a bit easier when figuring out a time to schedule. So I arrived at my appointment a little early since I figured there might be paper work to fill out as many massage/chiropractor places do and I wanted to get my full 70 minute massage. When I got there, the place was locked. I was like...hmm...did I get the wrong time? I checked my reminders and such and still it was the right time. I called Jeri and got her voicemail, so I left a message. I stuck around as I was able to since it was my day off. So I played on my phone. Jeri finally arrived in a frazzle and apologized that she was late. It was approximately 20 min later. It was fine. I had no where to go until lunch. So I went in and filled out paper work that stated where I had issues if any. Jeri got the room ready with the calming music. Jeri was very sweet and was very interested in what I've had issues with in my body and focused on what issues I had. Before starting of course you wonder, how naked do I have to get? You can get as comfortable as you want to which is nice. Although yes she massages through a sheet, I didn't mind it. She starts off with you lying face forward, then face up where she does more acupressure work. Mind you I haven't had acuppressure before so, I wanted to try it out. I'm sure she did it correctly. I just don't think it did much for me. After having Thai massages in Thailand, I've realized I need something a bit more rigorous. Not to say Jeri wasn't rigorous, I think it was just the type of massage. Jeri was great. She was very in tune with how much pressure to apply and asks if it's too much or too little unlike some masseuses who just want to break you. It's definitely soothing, though having a room right next to the front of the office, you can hear the phone go off and messages being left, so it can be a bit distracting. Either way, if you want to try Jeri out, I would highly recommend her. I just don't think it was my thing.

The massages I've gotten focused a lot on my neck and back and have been very relaxing. After receiving massages from Homa, my headaches have disappeared and my muscles feel a lot more relaxed. My stress level has gone down as well. The massages environment is nice as well and gives out a peaceful aura. I love the water fountain in the waiting room and some of the books that you can read while waiting. The music that is played during the massage is lovely as well. I'm thankful to have found this place and will continue coming :)

The rest of the time, her touch was relatively smooth, firm and precise and I relaxed instantly and then fell asleep in the process. She must have felt my energy because as soon as we got the pleasantries out of the way, she just kept quiet and got to work. I work out a lot and she must have felt that my body was just too tight and maybe too tired. She loosened my muscles without causing me pain and I really appreciated that. I typically like deep tissue massages but there are also certain situations when I just needed to relax and give my body a break. She totally gave me that. She did say that she could have gone deeper but possibly not on this one. I slept like a baby. I was very disappointment that it had to end. To wake me up, she went back to her very light touches again. So the ending wasn't too drastic and I did have a very relaxing time. Will definitely go to Nahanni again.
