Great massage but the parking is terrible. It seems like every business other than Massage Envy has a lot of reserved parking spaces. Even the garage in the back has plenty of reserved spaces so it is difficult to find an open spot. read more

Andres Valdez was my therapist at Massage Envy-North Miami for almost 10 years. He has the most amazing healing hands. The other therapist that I used was Alex who is also very Good. I was originally at the Pembroke Pines location since 2008, and eventually started going to North Miami. I usually had a massage at least once a month. I sent my family and friends to see Andres. I recommended people to Andres and bought gifts cards for people to see him. I've been asking for almost 2 months where he is and everyone was playing crazy. Today I hear there was some corporate decision made, and he was let go. That is absolutely unbelievable he is an amazing person and one of the best massage therapist I've had. I'm not sure when the corporate structure took over but over the past few years everything seems to have declined. The ambience (there really isn't any anymore) and the maintenance of the place is not the same. The recent and continuous corporate changes have changed the entire operation. The the worst part is that everything seems to boil down to making money . They now have a system for leaving tips for the massage therapist that requires the customer to pay a fee to leave the tip. That seems insane to me. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was that for almost 20 years they've called the day before to confirm appointments. I had an appointment scheduled and had not noticed, and did not receive a call. When they called me at the time of the appointment, they told me that the policy had changed and that corporate had directed that the front desk was no longer to make those calls. They also didn't advise of the change.I wish "corporate" well because you need a heart to go with all the corporate brains, and without it, these kinds of corporate policies can end this business. read more

My wife and I are longtime customers, of this massage envy having memberships in Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach Pilar my massage therapist amazing!!! In my opinion, Massage Envy, has never been known for having the best therapists. The massages are just OK and you can get an appointment in a pinch, which is good. But consistently it's normal to not expect a "great" experience. At this location, had the unfortunate experience to get a massage service from Pilar. This therapist wears gloves and has other weird requirements. Throughout the service, thought I had a robot working on me. Plus, she barely massaged. Instead, she just kept spreading more oils. Frankly I could not wait until it was over. Pilar should not be a massage therapist. Sorry. Put her at the front desk instead. By and far, one of THE WORST massage treatments I have ever had. Will NOT be back! read more

Yessie has the patience of a Saint. She was super informative and very helpful thank you for EVERYTHING!

Avoid this place at all costs. I had a membership here for 8 years. Before Covid they were amazing. After Covid, not so much. The therapists aren't the issue it's the front desk workers and the "manager" or "owner" whoever she is. Prepare to be mis-scheduled frequently at your expense. Prepare to be lied to and deceived by the front desk workers. It's not worth it to have a membership here at all. The only thing I would like is my $80 back from being lied to about how many sessions I had. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this place and the rude staff it comes with. read more

Massage Envy - Skin Care Near Me - North Miami, Florida

I always like this location. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I try to get a massage at least once a year as a treat for myself. This year it was for my birthday and I was not disappointed. I had my massage with Hereifa and it was amazing. I enjoyed adding the aromatic scent lavender to my massage this time. It was very relaxing and I felt refreshed after. I will definitely be back. read more

Friendly front desk. Good therapist. Convenient location for my schedule today. Negative for no "calmer" waiting room like other locations (-1). Dirty sheets (-1). Massage envy cancellation / membership policies (-1). For those considering a membership, due note their cancellation policies are dreadful (any location). read more

Mukesh is absolutely amazing! He did a 90 min massage today and I recommended my friend to come visit him as well.

It took a couple months to try to cancel my membership with the North Miami location, so I lost a couple hundred dollars. None of their appts are for as long as scheduled. They are always cut short. I was trying to use up the rest of my appointments after canceling membership and scheduled a facial for today but last night started feeling sick and woke up with nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal pain. There's no way I can make appt so I called to cancel. I was advised I would have 30 minutes taken away from my next appointment. I should have just kept appt and vomited there. This place is Horrible. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I am a 2 year member and have not had a negative until now. While on vacation this week I scheduled an appointment for a facial. At the day of my Apt. I was told I needed to leave a copy of my drivers license with them. When I called to explain I don't feel comfortable doing that and I had not received a request for this in the past two years. I then spoke to a manager named Rae at the Sarasota North location. She told me it was the law. I tried to tell her there's no law and she yelled over me that it's a new law. She was rude and belligerent and finally said I could show my ID when I arrived. Fine but she continued to have a tantrum so I cancelled - No patron should be treated this way. read more

The device rendered by Md Loren was excellent my face was revived thank you for service

I attend with Yaumier Capote, excellent professional. I recommend it, super serious and very good attention.

Same experience as Frank R Cancelled membership keep charging. 18 months ago, when Masage envy closed for thepandemic, I cancelled my membership. Continually charged the monthly $60 fee on my credit card. I do not live in the area anymore and cannot cancel on paper, ME can send a cancellation by email to sign . I agree with review by Tatana C. ME continues to charge my credit crd. I too was disturbed by the weights dropping from LA Fitness which breaks the tranquility of a massage, 1 side of the salon is COLD. Communication issues. Please cancel my membership , credit me most recent charge June 30 and do not charge my CC again. read more

Waste of money. After three days I already felt that I needed another massage. I ask for deep tissue and was given a senior for a massage therapist. Then when I asked for more pressure from the therapist, she did it for about 5 minutes and then resorted to giving me a light massage. The manager told me that "everyone's idea of deep is different". If I am asking the therapist for more pressure I am plainly telling her that her concept of deep isn't deep enough. The only thing management could offer me was a discount on the next service. As if I want to put anymore money into a trash business. My massage therapy school always spoke poorly of Massage Envy and now I see why. read more

I went to the trouble to book three massages for a visit to Miami in celebration of a friend's birthday. It's not easy finding three appointments at The same time, so I booked these more than two months out. Two and one half weeks before our trip, this location called to cancel my appointments with the excuse that two of the therapists we booked would not be in that day. Thats all. Too bad for us. They offered nothing. It's now too late to book anywhere else. Of course, there was no manager available to speak with. I find it hard to believe that with weeks notice, they can't fill those with anyone else. Good luck booking here. Completely unprofessional location. read more

The massages I've received have been great and deserving of 20% tips on the full amount. The reason I'm giving 3 stars has nothing to do with the masseuses. I have had a few issues with this franchise location due to poor sound quality and communication. Sound quality: the spa is directly below a gym and the dropping of heavy weights completely changes the ambiance. There is nothing that can be done about this, so be warned. I was given two free upgrades because it was so loud on my first visit... which brings me to my second gripe with this place: Communication: I attempted to use the two upgrades (aromatherapy & rapid release) two visits ago. I called to confirm when I booked and then went through my appointment without either... so heads up if you have an upgrade make sure to tell the front desk person immediately before you see the masseuse, and remind the masseuse as well. I confirmed tonight's appointment via automated text yesterday. I showed up on time and once inside I was told that my card on file didn't go through last month and I would need to put a new card on file for tonight's appointment. Why was I not informed when the card was declined? Why wasn't my session cancelled before the time it was to start? The front desk person could not answer these questions. I did not have a card on me and so I was not able to have my session, which is poor practice as it negatively affects the masseuse who missed out on $$. Looking into it on my end, I see now that my HSA card switched carriers. Honestly, after reading these reviews about getting out of the membership it feels like a blessing. read more

Massage therapist very good a big turn off is the price for no member 120 $ this is to much or I make a member ship for 70 $ this is a type of black Mail membership or not .I get this as a gift card for my birthday. Well...what can I say ..I got the short straw and got Sandra. This was the worst Massage that I ever received in my life!! And I have had thousands of them. She not only insisted that I talk in Spanish. Which I told her that I spoke a very little. She was all over the place and the massage was like a kindergartner just learned and at several points during my hour and a half- she would rub really really slowly until she would stop mid rub - she fall asleep!!' And would wake up and do it again. This lasted several times where I was just ready to go. When she was done she asked todos bien...to which I replied No. I went to the front door and complained. Paid my 113 dollars and left. The front desk person said they would look into it. I'm never ever going there again. Total waste of my time. read more

It's difficult to review Massage Envy because they have a lot of turnover. Like all of the locations, they pressure you (haha, pun intended!) to sign up for their monthly service. If you are very into massages, it's not a bad deal, but it's really unpleasant to get that pressure after you are blissed out from the massage! The staff here is friendly and professional. I have had OK massages and fantastic ones. In the middle of one massage, the therapist stepped out to take a phone call; needless to say, that was a big bummer. On the other hand, I had one of the best massages ever at this location, so it's all down to who's working that day. read more

W.O.C BEWARE!!! Unfortunately zero stars isn't an option but if I could I would. While I waited for my masseuse, I noticed the receptionist speaking on the phone at let's say volume 4. When she walked over to me to ask questions she was at a volume 10, letting the entire waiting room know the reason for my appointment. No matter how quietly I spoke to signal to her to lower her voice she ignored it. Alex the masseuse called my name, as he opened the door I noticed he had a smile on his face. When I got up, he looked at me and his face drastically changed. A look of disappointment and anger almost. He rudely said "last door on the right", when I got there he said nothing, just closed the door behind me. I was confused, needing instructions but had nothing. When it came time for the massage, he said absolutely nothing. Making sure I'll never come back, he was extra rough. There was even a point in time where his hand slipped and hit me on my head. Not even an apology. At the end of the massage he finally spoke and asked how I'm feeling, with every fiber of me wanting to give him a piece of my mind I muttered fine. He walked out of the room never to be seen again--comical. Very unprofessional. read more

Lizbeth Fuentes said she is the manager of all massage envy locations and she showed me severe attitude and gave me anxiety. also, made me pay full price while 15 minutes of my session was missing. Save your time and money. I have been coming to this establishment for about 2-3 year but I will Not be returning .. DO NOT PURCHASE any additional recommended Items as there no satisfaction guarantee. I had a facial done yesterday was was was good BUT i was offered a on site product to help me with my face redness .. I purchase the item which was a pretty penny.. when I got home I used the product has instructed and instantly got s sever reaction, felt like my face was literally on fire , had to wash the product off and apply cold towel thats how hot and red my face reacted. I called the establishment today and was basically told I could not change, or return any items if they are seal .. I was not told that when I purchased the item. I do understand that everyone skin type is different which will react different but the way this product affect me was totally unexpected . How would I ever buy anything from the establishment without any customer satisfaction guarantee.. So save your money , time and aggression.. it's unfortunate that this is how ME members are treat. read more

I just had a massage and facial. Alex have me the massage and was GREAT! Facial a the best ever. I highly recommend!

The massage was great. But if you choose to use the services of this location, never ever give them your credit card number. First they started charging me for another person's membership to my card in addition for charging for my membership. Then it took months to clear the mistake even though the mistake was on their side. While attending this issue in person, I submitted the cancellation of my membership renewal. Now 3 months after my membership was supposed to be cancelled , I'm finding the charges again. It is like an ever lasting nightmare. And any relaxation and stress relief I have got from massages , It was wiped up by the hours spent on the phone with my credit card bank disputing the charges and changing the cards. I have several prepaid massage services at this point, but I have such a sour feeling from poor billing services, that I will never step my foot in this establishment ever again. read more

Totally unprofessional staff. Esmerelda and Yesenia showed me what kind of ridiculously disorganized business this is and how they allow untrained, unsupervised people answer the phones. I was told by Esmeralda that I could have my husband come and take my place for the massage because I am a nurse and couldn't get out in time. I called him to verify, called her back and said he was on the way. She said nothing else. Upon his arrival, he was told by Yesenia that he had to buy a membership. He said he didn't want to do that. He called and told me and I called and spoke with her and she told me a lie saying she offered to call me and take care of the transfer while he gets his massage. That conversation did not happen. I would not recommend this location again although my therapist is great, I will try to find him somewhere else as I am cancelling my massage envy subscription. This unprofessional behavior has happened one too many times in various locations. read more

Loisbel was a lousy therapist. I got out of the massage swollen in face, nauseous, and my herniated disc had flared up. When I told him I had one, he scoffed and told me that wasn't a big deal. I tried to get him to adjust his pressure and he barely did a thing. It's horrible to have a massage and think to yourself "I'll grin and bear it". I ended up giving him a cash tip of 20% my service ONLY because I felt pressured by checkout. Come to find out the person who booked my massage also paid over the phone AND tipped! I feel swindled and he was definitely UNDESERVING of a $40 tip! STAY AWAY FRON LOCATION! Believe all the reviews. read more

A very pleasant and relaxing experience from beginning to....right before my wife and I walked out of the store. The couples massage we received was so, so wonderful and the catered attention we received was outstanding. And then came time to pay and leave, and we were badgered to effing death to make it a monthly thing. "We have a deal where you can pay $60 monthly and receive 1 massage every month. Would you like to do that?" No, thanks. This was just a special occasion type thing. "Well why? Why don't you want to make this a recurring thing? Didn't you enjoy it? What's stopping you from doing it?" This wouldn't go with our monthly budget. "Well what can I say to make you want to do it? You see it's cheaper if you become a member and buy a bundle than if you were to walk in as a non-member." Yeah it just wouldn't work out. It was for my wife's birthday only. We can't afford monthly massages. "Well tell me what you didn't like and why I can't get you to sign up?" At this point I was completely appalled at how much she was pushing and badgering us, especially after stating that we can't afford monthly massages. It was completely out of place for the relaxing, classy experience we had just received. Ask once, and move on!! I left conflicted because I was crazy relaxed and satisfied with my massage, but then irritated as hell at the rude questions and badgering. read more

As soon as I walked in, the front desk associates immediately welcomed me with a warm hello and offered me my preference of either water or cookies. They have a beautiful tranquility room that helps the guests sink in to relaxation mode and for what is yet to come. Before my one hour massage session I was informed about how the session would be broken down and to keep in mind to have open communication with my therapist at all times. Preferably I chose a female therapist but I'm sure the male therapists are just as amazing. I had a massage with Ari and she pin pointed exactly where I was having pain. While laying down on the table all of my worries went away as if I had kicked off my shoes and let the ocean waves take me away. Truly a very relaxing experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to get rid of pain, stress, or just for loosening up. 10/10!!! read more

I never expected to be writing this kind of review, but the staff of this business made it easier on me to decide into do ir or not. How come I was denied a service because I lost my gift card my daughter gave me as a birthday's present, but I have the receipt of the purchase, incredibly the staff said they wont give me service no matter what, and when I said it was wrongly doing and that I would write a review, she laughed and claimed her manager will write a review back. So I do recommend you all, stay away from this business. Not friendly at all. read more
