I give it 1 star because of the hairstylist MONIQUE MEDINA, given the great experiences I´ve had with Paula I gave Monique a shot to do my hair after having a child and not being in a salon for over a year I was excited to make a change in my hair and ask her to do a balayage and haircut, the experience was beyond disappointing that I wanted to cry afterwards, she did merely bleached highlights (the ones shown in the photos to other clients) when I clearly showed her a photo and told her the color I wanted in my hair, she was with other two clients at the same time and clearly the bleach was overdone, I have almost black hair so I wanted a balayage/ombre in a caramel tone, the hair turned out too light, like a beige color, I told her that wasn´t what I asked for and she first resisted and said that it was nice and looked good creating an uncomfortable situation so I had to insist that it wasn´t what I asked for, so she applied a toner in all my hair, this was a pity because I didn´t want my natural hair to be applied toner all over or in the roots, that´s why I wanted a balayage in the first place!, well, the hair came in two tones, the beige and another more orangy tone....and she didn´t do a balayage in the first place, it was normal highlights, you cannot see the difference between the hair in the top and the bottom like the balayage is supposed to be. The haircut... another story, she didn´t cut it as short as I told her since she wanted to cut it a little before the balayage and afterwards she would finish up, my family didn´t even realized there was a cut in my hair, Monique cut it a little in the back and at the end after the balayage she just cut touch up in the front... for all this I paid almost $300.... I felt ROBBED needless to say, I have to save again to go to a decent person that knows what is doing the next time, I feel Monique knows how to do a couple of haircuts and the same old highlights but not anything new or in trend and cannot be asked to do something different. She resisted what the client was asking and did the things her way on top of being super expensive. I don´t recommend her at all

He is so knowledgeable about the safest, most aesthetically flattering techniques to achieve the results that you want. You really feel like you're in good hands because he knows what he's doing. Between the numbing of the mouth area and the actual filler injections, the whole process only took about an hour. He used Juvederm Ultra for me and is equipped with the most top of the line products for all procedures. He told me that I'm the first client he's had that asked for BIG lips, not just a little touch up and boy did he deliver! Now that the swelling has gone down I actually feel like I want even bigger :P and I will only go to Dr. Vega for the refills!

I am not new to facials (incl. different peels, microdermabrasion or hydrafacial and I have visited many salons (good, very good and also bad) and I have to say that my facial here was just average, even below average. I would not come back because for the same $$$ I have had much better experiences. I booked hydrafacial with Claudia and even though she was very friendly and nice, I was surprised that she didn't use the steamer to open up the pores before the process (as in any other good salon). When I asked why, she said, "It's broken". Oh... ok... then they could have called me to reschedule..?? Instead of steamer she used a clay mask saying that it would open up my pores.. hmm not sure, usually mask is the last thing they do but ok... I have to say that all the process was very interesting - lots of different exfoliating vacuums, different acids (salicylic and glycolic) and lotions. I had never had a facial with so many different vacuums going over my face. Even though I did enjoy the process I had to ask what is what, because my esthetician was not explaining almost anything, and I felt that we are rushed as the appointment is only one hour. Also the extraction process was much, much shorter as in other places. 2.5 stars because they skipped the steamer, esthetician was pretty quick, there was no massage and final, my favourite step - the mask. She also didn't give me any sample (even if I asked), usually different salons give me samples of their products so I know if I want to buy something. I'm sure other people might like the services here but as I have had 5 star facials performed by the best estheticians, this was just an okay service. I would not spend my $$$ here again.
